What do you think of those wide range humbuckers? Does it still sound like a Tele?
I’ve been curious about them, but I think mine might need bigger cavities to fit them. So I’m not sure yet if I’m that curious.

I wouldn't say it still sounds like a tele. This has sparkly top end also but to me a regular tele has its own bell like top end.

Makes sense. Bill Frisell has been playing a Tele with a wide range in the neck lately and it sounds incredible. But he always sounds incredible, so it’s hard to judge based on that.

Classic Series Tele Deluxe. My favorite. I have a black, sunburst, walnut, aqua flake, and gold flake. I loved the pickups that it came with and would recommend them to anyone. I will admit that I upgraded mine to 1 meg pots and Cunife picks ups eventually. While it is an observable difference, it doesn’t change that the original pickups were sufficient and very enjoyable. Did you swap out the pick guard or did someone else do it?

I got it black guard already haha. But the original guard is mint green. Interesting on the 1meg pots. That should make it brighter correct?

Almost not a Tele - but I like it as guitar overall. It's a Telecastered Strat.

it's closer to a les paul or SG than a strat.
i really dig the 4 knob layout for 2 pickus.. i need a tele deluxe someday.
