Open | Software A new Microsoft bad surprise

This little thing pops up in the middle of my screen now when I start my pc. Can't access anything unless I close it.

Has anyone come across it and found a solution to end this hostage situation?

It's a Microsoft Store message that pops up in the middle of the screen and blocks any click anywhere else apart from the window itself. Also other functions do not work, like screenshot, windows key (only things I tried). I find this extremely abusive, literal hijacking of the PC.

You are wanting a resolution to ChatGPT popping up when you log in.

So, uninstall ChatGPT from the store. Problem solved. Try installing again if you really want it, or just use the website.

Thanks, my worry is that this behaviour will expand to other programs, this time it's ChatGPT. What will be next?

It's a Store issue, not GPT issue I'm worried about.

We can't solve worrying, but it sounds like you are just guessing based off info provided. Nothing in that error tells me it's a Store issue with all apps. Store apps usually suck anyway and should be avoided. I use Windows 9 or 10 hours a day for last 20 years and I have never used a Store app. It can be avoided.

It isn’t a hostage situation, stop exaggerating

Update the app via the store
Uninstall reinstall ChatGPT or
Reinstall Windows (probably not that serious)

Something is broken in the app
