Question about Phoenix show

Hello TBS fans, I saw TBS for the first time tonight in Phoenix and I thought it was a great show. All 3 bands were great.

I have read here about Adam being great or being horrible. I would just like to know what the community who was at the show thought of his performance and if that was considered one of his good or bad shows?

Either way I had a great time and am glad I went, any feedback would be appreciated.

I see the band often and have been for many years and tonight was one of the top 5 best I’ve ever heard them. (But also you should just hold onto your own opinion and experience and not let the noise on the internet spoil it. I’m glad you enjoyed. :) )

Oh don’t worry, I enjoyed the show and that won’t be affected by others opinions. I just wanted to know if that is what was considered good or bad by others . So we got a top show it sounds like. Lucky us 😊

And thank you for the insight, greatly appreciated.

This is a solid view.

I wasn’t there but I saw them a couple weeks ago and have seen them several times over the years. I love it every time.

Couple other things to remember: venue acoustics contribute.

Live videos from cell phones posted online almost never do justice. Position, crowd noise, shit mono phone mics… none of it’s ideal. Live it and love it in the moment and fuck the haters jam piling online.

What was disgusting is people “yelling play old shit bitch, play make damn sure” so loudly in the GA area, I hope you stay home for the next show. So embarrassing.

Glad I didn’t hear any of that, those people suck and are morons. All they had to do was look up a setlist. Also the chances of them not playing that song would be low would be my guess.

That's so rude. If the set list was the same as the show I went to, they barely played anything new, most was old. Also, I agree, they just shouldn't go. Sounds like they arent even real fans. Who does that.

This happened last time I saw them was at a festival and 2 songs in it started. "Dont play the new shit, Adam, play MadeDamnSure" as if they were having a fucking conversation with Adam directly.

I told them to fuck off and they shut up, but moved further away from me and started again. haha

That's been their closer for at least 10 years now 😆

I was just discussing this with my sister. Everytime we’ve seen them live they’ve been great. Tonight too 🤷🏽‍♀️

It’s more fun for people to talk about people’s downfalls the their wins. 4th time seeing them a month back and I still have never heard them sound remotely bad. I’m not saying it doesn’t happen but 90% of the videos bashing the dude are cherry picked.

He was the same at your show as he is at every show. Some people think it’s terrible, others think it’s just fine and endearing. All that matters is that you loved it!

I saw them and I thought it was an awesome show. I've seen TBS many times over the years, and I think Adam still sounds great, and I was really happy they played Divine Intervention! Some people are just haters
