The Murten / Morat Light Festival (Murten Licht-Festival in German / Morat Festival des Lumières in French) is an event where the old town of Murten is going to turn into a lighting show of superlatives. Visitors will enjoy artistic productions on buildings, in the streets and on the towers of the town will immerse them into a mysterious and magic world. Some artworks are also placed on the Murten Lake.

Founded in 2005, the Zermatt Music Festival & Academy is centered around an orchestra and chamber music academy led by the Scharoun Ensemble of the Berlin Philharmonic and dedicated to young Swiss and international musicians. It offers a series of concerts bringing together the academy, the Scharoun Ensemble, ensembles from the Valais and renowned soloists.

The Festival is held every year at the end of the summer and takes place throughout the village of Zermatt, in venues such as the St. Mauritius Pfarrkirche, Kapelle Riffelalp, English Church, Backstage Hotel Vernissage, Matterhorn Museum, as well as at local hotels, the school and the retirement home. The Festival regularly collaborates with other cultural actors in the Valais such as the Pierre Gianadda Foundation in Martigny.

Known for the variety of its program, the Festival offers not only great orchestral works by classical composers, but also lesser-known chamber music, jazz, folk music and cinema.

Recorded and shot over 16 days across Switzerland, taking 23 trains, 3 gondolas, 2 boats and 1 bus. I ended up with around 200 different sounds, with the goal of creating one single piece of music with it. Thank you Suisse Tourisme and Travel Switzerland for opening the doors of your beautiful country.
