Looking for recommendations for a festive night out in December - do any pubs stand out when it comes to Xmas decorations/festive feel?

Does anybody know if Kingswood station accepts touch in and out? As in tapping your card to enter and exit?

Or do I have to have a ticket to travel to or from this station (when commuting to or from Purley)
