You need to deprogram your edu-tained brain. First of all, not everything has to be fun. You can be bored--it's not going to kill you. In fact, it might actually make you a better person. You also have to re-align what joy is for you. Finding pleasure in what you are learning, the skills you are developing, and what you are working toward will make you a better student and a better doctor. Imagine yourself with an illness that robs you of your ability to function normally. No imagine going to see a specialist who gets bored easily...then let that motivate you.
