"This morning, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis met with Captain Gianluigi Aponte and his son Diego at MSC's headquarters in Geneva.

The meeting lasted approximately two and a half hours. Their presence in Switzerland was purely coincidental, as De Laurentiis was there for personal reasons and will remain for another couple of days.

The discussions focused EXCLUSIVELY on the stadium project.

The idea is that, once the Q8 site has been fully decontaminated, Napoli would acquire the land, while MSC would finance the construction of the new, futuristic stadium, either partially or entirely.

Preliminary cost estimates range between €800 million and €1 billion."
