So, I have been playing the Recycled Brella Mk I and Mk II since I first tried them a few weeks after getting Splatoon 3 this year. While I found the Mk II more consistent and easier to use, nothing could beat the fun that the Mk I gave me because of the Angle Shooter when I actually landed my shots. That was until I recently got an intrusive thought: what if I got 100 splats with the Angle Shooter? (without "Work the Angles" to make them happen naturally).
At first, I thought it would be a funny yet painful challenge, so I ignored it. But the thought came back a few hours later and somehow convinced me to go for it with the excuse that I would just clip the splats I got, without any real pressure, treating it as a hilarious joke. Eventually, it completely took over and I became so obsessed that I even started dreaming about Angle Shooter splats sometimes (though I still played a reasonable amount of time each day). Nevertheless, it was always meant to be just a fun joke (but you should never follow intrusive thoughts).
Let me be clear: I am not a very good player and my aim is usually pretty mediocre. This is just a compilation of the best moments, but I have to say I have an unusual amount of luck in video games, and I’m pretty sure that carried me a lot.
Also, all of this was done purely as a joke and I have zero intention of embarrassing any of the players featured. Please note that a lot of the clips are not in chronological order. If you see me standing completely still after getting a splat in a few clips, it wasn't to mock anyone; I was just stunned in disbelief that the shot actually landed and splatted someone (because this was one of my first times getting an Angle Shooter splat). We were all just having a good time playing, or at least I had fun most of the time.
Finally, if you're wondering, for at least 90% of this video I ran this build: Comeback and three subs of Ink Saver (Main) on headgear; one main and one sub of Quick Respawn, one sub of Quick Super Jump, and one sub of Ink Recovery Up on clothing; and Stealth Jump, one sub of Special Saver, one sub of Ink Resistance Up, and one sub of Quick Super Jump on shoes (I also show it at the start of the video).
Note: I will be pretty busy with school assignments over the next few days, so I won't be checking here too much, nor do I think I will be posting anything else in the future. If you are reading this post, thank you so much.
Also, editing this video was a nightmare for me because it was my first time using video editing software, and the quality is low because the Nintendo Switch recorder was all I had.
Lastly, I added a few more in case I miscounted.
