2 yr old turned crockpot off
this morning around 10 i was putting a 1 lb elk roast in the crockpot to cook on low for about 8-9 hours. my daughter was standing on a chair & helping me put stuff in the crockpot. i seared the roast & had it on low while we were adding broth, seasonings, etc. we left the house for lunch, came back around 12 & i noticed the crockpot was off :( my daughter must have turned it off when she was helping me & i never noticed. i turned it back onto low right when i noticed. the roast was frozen but spent about 24 hrs in the fridge the day before. would you guys still eat it? i hate wasting food but i would die if we got food poisoning.
