Would drawing and talking through ideas fit into your child’s self-directed learning?

Hi everyone — I’m the developer of Drafello, a browser tool for drawing and recording the screen and your voice. I’m interested in hearing how parents here feel about this kind of tool in child-led learning.
The situation I have in mind is simple: a child wants to design a spaceship, draw an insect they’ve discovered, or explain a game they’ve invented. They can draw while talking through why they made certain choices or how they think something works. They choose what to draw, what to say, and whether to keep the recording.
What interests me is revisiting those ideas later. A child might say, “Oh, that’s what I was thinking!” or pick up an old idea and explore it further. It could also give a parent a chance to hear the story behind a drawing.
For transparency: drawing, recording, and downloading videos are free, and you can start without installing anything or signing in. Recordings stay in the browser on your device. Clearing the site’s browser data deletes those local recordings, so anything you want to keep should be downloaded. Cloud backups and full project packages containing recordings are paid extras.
I’m still learning whether this would fit naturally into families’ routines, so I’d appreciate your perspective:
Do your children naturally talk through things as they draw? Would they enjoy keeping their voice and ideas, or would recording interrupt their exploration? How do you currently keep the creations or discoveries your children choose to save?
Here’s Drafello if you’re curious. You don’t need to try it to join the conversation — I’d be interested in hearing about your experiences either way.
