Went out to run an errand at a pet store today. Stopped at the park to get my pup used to leash walking. A lady stops us to say “What a cute little puppy with her little pink harness!” and my four year old daughter immediately corrects her with
“That’s her sports-bra 🤨”
The lady laughed and looked right at me, I didn’t know what to say. I just rolled with it.

Hello, we have found a breeder who is planning to stop breeding. She has her last litter and is also letting some of her adult dogs be rehomed. She has a beautiful 8wk old pup that I like, and an 18mo old female who was never bred. We have 2 daughters - 7 and 4.5 yr old.
I think the 18mo old pup is a great idea. Already house broke plus I know her size and temperament. Husband likes the puppy. Says it should live longer and can be trained with our kids in mind.
He is a work 6-6 so it would me training the pup and the kids. Plus I think a pup will require a lot more effort on my part. 18mo is very young for a dog. His concerns are what if the dog doesnt adapt to our kids. What if it isnt potty trained at our house. I know this does happen. Puppies are very cute and yes id be giving up that time and still paying probably the same price, but potty training could definitely make me regret a dog.
What would you choose? Hubby said the decision is mine. I have considered getting both, but a friend advised me not to. She said vet costs can get crazy.

Griffyn helped us as "Harry Potter" for our Trunk-or-Treat at our church. He was so great at letting the kiddos pet him as they went around.

The groomer texted me these photos to tell me he was done. What a great idea; I really appreciated it.

These puppies gave their mother a heart attack today when they escaped the backyard! Thank GOODNESS after about ten minutes of looking they came running right back home. Needless to say we have a fence to fix, and I’m going to get them air tags to put on their collar. Somewhere they found some mud puddles that they had a blast in. Bath time!
