I'm trying to collect all the old Star Wars EU books and just out of bleak curiosity I toggled over to see what the mouse is doing lately. Leia and Rey side story between Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker, apparently. *Who cares?* The sequel era and everything afterward in the new continuity is a narrative black hole. Stuff like this is at best trying to patch a ship at the bottom of the ocean. The last movie was seven years ago, this book came out three months ago. It could be in a vacuum the best book ever written and still be pointless.
