Hello, does anyone have dog boarding recommendations near Royal Oak? We’ve taken them to All American Pet Resorts in Royal Oak a couple of times because we absolutely loved the one we used to go to in another state but we have a few things we aren’t thrilled with about the Royal Oak location (their cameras often don’t work, we don’t get photos or a report card after their stay like we did with the other location, one of our dogs came home with what seemed to be poop on his head, and now one of them came home with a loose tooth which I know is probably not directly their fault but we’re overall just not too pleased even though the staff has been nice). Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. We prefer a structured day where they have a few group playtimes and then rest times (rather than a few places we’ve seen where they are at group play most of the day). Thanks (:

Having strong craving to see the animals that hits me once every like 5-6 years. If I go in the morning are the animals still out are many of them away for the winter.

My husband and I are expecting our first child Early Spring 2027. We have been searching for affordable childcare in the Royal Oak area. We settled on Small Wonders in Warren but it is a bit out of the way and are really wanting to find something closer within the small wonders pricing (under $300 week).

I was excited to see Tweetle Beetles at 11 Mile and John R. was within our price range but after they changed management some people haven’t had the most positive reviews. Just looking for some feedback before our tour later this week.

PS. We have looked at Green Gardens, Clawson Early Childcare, Joyful Jungle.. would love any of those centers but they’re just too far out of our price range for now!

Has anyone else seen the new restaurant taking over where the Grecian House was on 11 Mile? I just saw it today on my way to work and was wondering if it’s the same as the one in Chicago?

Hello - can anyone recommend a really good personal trainer for help with form issues? After training for years I am still struggling with the same few exercises & it’s driving me crazy. I cannot sit in my car in a foul mood googling wtf I’m doing wrong every time I leave the gym any longer, it’s ruining my whole day.

Details - location - I’m flexible on this, I’d rather not have to buy a new gym membership but I am open to doing it for just a month or two. Proximity to RO (say a footprint of 16 to 8 mile and John R to Northwestern HWY, roughly).
