Could use some feedback on my resume. I'm transitioning out of tech and into healthcare. Currently working on getting a nursing degree, but in the meantime am looking for an entry level healthcare job (CNA, PCT, etc).

The biggest concern that I have is that my background is from higher paying tech jobs, so I don't want it to look like I'm not genuine. I've been pursing this for several years now, and now that I have my CNA and BLS cert am ready to fully begin the transition.

I hope I'm doing this right...

I need to figure out what I'm missing. This resume here is new, edited by me and formatted by TealHQ, but apparently still not at all up to snuff according to the ATS Scanner I tried. I've been applying to every pharmacy I can find and even some hospitals; attempting to look out-of-state seems to be a non-starter since every state seems to demand I have their license before I can so much as apply...

I really want to become a Traveling Pharmacy Technician! But to do that, I need experience in both Retail and Hospitals, and a hospital is the only place kind enough to send me rejection emails. The rest just go ghost.

Take it apart line by line if you must; I just need to fix this so I can get my adult life started!

Hello, I would appreciate feedback for my resume as a medical student. I am hoping to get a residency in America but I am not American so my options are limited. Surgery is my interest, but I’m considering other options as well. My wife is American so I won’t need to be sponsored for a visa.

I’ve been applying since January for new grad nursing jobs and all of them have been rejecting me. I got two interviews for the nicu and I did not get the job for both. My first choice is the Nicu so you can guess I’m bummed out. My plan now is to wait after passing the NCLEX and the new cohort begins and hopefully apply to those nicus and other peds specialties for better chances

I now added private caregiver and the community navigator as before I thought that experience would be useless since it’s not with a company but f it, it’s honest work to me.

I have a strong feeling that what is setting me back is I didn’t do an externship like my peers so really much of my hospital experience is nursing clinicals. I would really appreciate any tips, improvements or anything else.

(Ik it’s long but the shortened version didn’t get me jobs either)

I changed my resume to look more admin related. But in reality im on the clinical side of a dental office. Im trying to find something more technical like data entry maybe something in finance or academic environment like financial aid office, library help desk..

Im trying to weight out the options but im just lost atm on what I really want. Im not sure healthcare is for me but then again I've only really done dental assisting and the other was just office assistant.

Maybe someone can help me figure out what i can do instead?

My current job has had no hours for me all of september and I need to leave asap.

Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much!!!

Here is my "base" resume that hasn't been edited for a RBT position yet.

Recently I made a big career shift and went from 7 years of food service to working with dogs as a "Dog Master" at a dog boarding facility. While I've enjoyed the work, I realize I would prefer working with children and figured I'd pivot to RBT work.

I don't currently have an RBT certification or CPR training but this one job said they pay for new hires training on that.

I should mention I applied there twice in the past and got rejected so I wanted to know how to tailor my resume for that work.

Hey everyone, I'm posting on behalf of my partner. They have been unemployed for over a year now. They are an RN. Have been actively applying to nursing gigs for over 6 months with barely any interviews. (About 3) Most of the hospitals around here have been auto rejects within a few hours. we have changed this resume at least 8 times trying to beat the ats system.

We really don't know what to do anymore. We have even done a simpler version of this with no columns and that doesn't work. We find it hard to believe he's so disqualified for basic RN jobs, he's always auto rejected. Can anyone help with this resume to help beat the ats system at these hospitals?

Thank you so much!

Hello everyone. I'm submitting my resume in hopes to get into a GI case management position while I only have bedside nursing experience. I highlighted my roles that could possibly be more useful for case management.

Are my goals too off center for what I am applying for?

Is my overall presentation appropriate for a recruiter to easily read?

While I did grammar checks - does my wording sound consistent? Thank you.

I am applying to be lead scientist at a sister lab in my company. My manager told me to apply for this role so l am going to go for it. This is my first time applying for any kind of leadership role, l am most senior in my shift (high turnover rate) so I do set the workflow and guide my team. Any advice or criticism is welcome. Rewriting this resume to omit personal information squished my resume so my original formatting is a bit nicer than this, i'm more concerned about the content. Thank you in advance!

I'm looking for human feedback on how to word my resume better or listen to advice on how to add a splash of personality. Also to ask a few miscellaneous questions on formatting and ATS.

For context, I'm a recent graduate in the field of sleep medicine, having passed my boards not long ago and just receiving my state-issued license. I am aiming for a Tech I position, appropriate for my position as a new graduate, but I need a solid resume to highlight my specialized training. I cobbled together some old resumes and a draft I made last year, sent it through an AI to compile the important bits, and pieced it together on Canva with AI-assistance.

While I'm happy with how my resume is visually presented, I'm under the impression it feels so... sterile. I personally worded my summary and experience bullet points initially, but AI pointed out how inconsistent my statements were and how weak my accomplishments felt. So I used the AI to draft up an example of a strong summary/experience points, then I reworded a few things to make it less corporate. However, it doesn't sound right to me and I need some guidance that isn't AI-driven.

Misc:

- AI claimed my formatting may cause issues with how the information is processed in ATS. May I get some clarification?

- Isn't ATS more of a checklist of things to list on an application/resume? I thought it would be okay to write in a slightly unconventional format for stylistic flair.

- If ATS is a real concern, should I drop the Canva resume and redo everything on a word document?

Hi all - currently working at a multi-regional, multi-site outpatient imaging company. I am looking to move to a large hospital system. My resume has been with one company until my current job, which is the corporate parent of my previous company.

The position I am looking to move to is a Director-level position: Director of Performance Excellence. Struggling with how much detail to provide versus how high-level the resume should be. I'm uploading my original resume (times new roman font) and my copilot-assisted resume. Do I need an executive summary? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

700 applications and 7 months later I'm still jobless... Looking for anything remote, hybrid, in office. Goal is medical billing and coding but also applied to insurance verification specialist, prior authorization, secretary jobs. Can't land anything. What am I doing wrong? Just started using Flex Jobs and Simplify to help me fill out job applications faster. Have been utilizing recruiters, networking, job fairs, the whole nine yards. My last job ended with my whole team being laid off due to the client contract suddenly ending. I appreciate any feedback on my resume or potential opportunities. Thank you!

Edit: I would like to note to those thinking I’m just funneling all my applications to medical coding. I’m not. I’m applying broadly. And to the person who said I’ve averaged 3 applications a day get a life lol I’ve been practically living on indeed and linked in. Also would like to note that I see CPC-As get coding jobs as evidenced on linked in.

Hi all,

I'm currently looking for a way out of my current role as I'm no longer enjoying my job and feel ready for a new challenge.

I'm 24 and currently work in the NHS (band 7) in quality improvement, project management, service improvement, and performance-related roles. I'd really like to move more into the private sector, but I'm unsure what types of roles I could realistically apply for and be competitive for.

I am currently looking at PMO positions, as they seem to align well with my experience, but I'd welcome any advice on other roles I may be overlooking.

I've attached 5 slides that summarise my experience and achievements (I know it's far too long, but I wanted to give as much context as possible). I'm happy to take on board any honest feedback, whether that's about my CV, my experience, or the realism of my career ambitions.

I'd appreciate any advice on: (I just asked AI to do my current one)

  • My CV and how it comes across to private-sector employers
  • Which industries might value my experience
  • The types of roles I should be applying for
  • Any skills or qualifications that would make me more marketable

Thanks in advance for any advice. I'm feeling a bit stuck and would really appreciate some outside perspectives.

This is my first resume and its for an assigment, so some help would be appreciated. I used a template given out by my college and followed the initial instructions given out by a job counsellor from the college, whom I had a meeting with.
In particular, I'm really struggling to find and correctly write the three skills that go at the start of the resume (I'm not even sure what the correct wording is, the first one is in the correct format 100%, though)
Also, is the amount of projects that I put acceptable? I feel like 6 might be a bit too much.

Hi!

Im a recent graduate so just looking for general feedback on my CV draft.

Struggling to add in specific values as I don't have any measurable achievements yet (haven't got my msc grade either).

How can I make it stand out?

Do I need to add more personality?

Is this a normal way to present skills in the skills section? any other format recommended?

I know formatting needs more consistency, still working on that.
any feedback would be very appreciates

thanks!

  • Looking for feedback on my experience bullet points and personal summary specifically. Trying to optimize for ATS but don't know if they're too vague.
  • Targeting project management, business analysis, consultant or other senior level roles in healthcare administration/management.
  • Applying to local and remote positions.
  • Laid off from my previous role a month ago and just getting back into the job hunt. It's been a few years since I've sent my resume anywhere so I am definitely a little rusty. It's also the first time I have used AI to help polish some of my bullet points and to develop a personal summary so I am curious if these items seem too AI or if they seem ok.

This is my extended list of experience. I typically tailor experience for the roles I am applying for and then do an “additional experience” section.

I am pretty open for roles wise to get more experience under my belt and open for roles in healthcare admin, property management, concierge medical receptionist, or entry level HR roles. I also have another degree in business administration with HR concentration which I only put for HR roles so i don’t look over qualified for certain roles.

I’ve been looking for a job for a few months. Kind of gave up the last month so I really only looked for a month and a half or so since finishing school end of June. Got one interview at a SNF. All red flags.

Top of resume has my name BSN, RN and email number and linked in. I got some advice to start with education then certs/licenses and then clinical rotation experience since I’m a new grad with 0 RN work experience. I also have my professional work experience which is 2 years as a CNA at SNFs , LTC facilities and a hospital.

What am I doing wrong or what can I fix if anything? I know my bullet points for work experience may be a little repetitive and could showcase more “measurable outcomes” than just tasks. And I should add a summary/objective even though some RNs I’ve talked to say they didn’t add one. Not sure.

Any advice ? Also I know it’s two pages but there is no way to aim for one page while including clinical experience and work experience. And in my case, clinical experience is all I have to offer besides CNA experience.

Thank you!!!

I just graduated from nursing school last month. Looking to get into a patient care role while I am studying for my licensure to be a registered nurse.

I've been applying to a few hospitals but no luck at the moment. From the jobs that do respond to me, the response was that they've considered somebody else. Is there something I can improve with my resume?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for feedback on my resume as I apply primarily to healthcare administrative roles and public health positions. I've been struggling to land job interviews. I haven't been applying as aggressively as I would like to, but will definitely up my applications.

Ideally would like to remain in the Metro Detroit area, but I am open to relocating. Target salary would be 70-80k. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
