Supplies Donation Request Catio Colony Cats
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello Everyone, It's been awhile since posting, but I had Cat food from Sheltering Hands. Unfortunately they mainly give the cheapest brand on the market! I've tried it 2 years ago, I still have half a bag, the Cats just won't eat it, even mixing with better food ! So the Cats have eaten all the better food. Any amount of Food you're able to donate is a GREAT HELP ! I and the cats Greatly appreciate it. Litter also, tractor supply doesn't have the wishlist capability. I'll attach PayPal, Venmo, Walmart and Amazon I'm up to 50 Cats now. A neighbor found a Kitten. They can't keep her because the Wife is Allergic. This kitten is very friendly and I couldn't refuse taking her in. Otherwise they would leave her Outside. With this other Cat Murdering neighbor I would not feel good about her outside.

Veterinary Care Needed Donation Request FIP survivor cat needs dental care. His lower tooth is stuck in his lip wound and he can't eat 🐾🙏
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello everyone, I am reaching out for emergency help for my rescue cat Tommy who finished his FIP treatment at the end of September. He recently broke his upper canine and now his lower canine is constantly stabbing his upper lip, creating a deep wound where the tooth gets stuck. He is now struggling to eat due to the pain. We have a scheduled vet appointment for today. The plan is to do pre-op blood work, extract the broken upper root, and reduce or remove the lower canine. We also need to start him on antibiotics. The total estimated cost for the blood work and dental surgery is around $95. I currently have no funds to cover this emergency. Any help towards his vet bill would be deeply appreciated! Supplies Donation Request Trying to raise $1,500 by this weekend. Housing three rescues cats. (Eugene, OR)
Shortcuts:
GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/5afebfc71
Venmo: https://www.venmo.com/u/Jehoseph
PayPal: https://paypal.me/TheDivines
Rent is $1,590 and it is due Sunday, November 1. That is five days out and I do not have it yet. Cosimo gets neutered the following morning, November 2, which I scheduled for just after he turns five months so it happens before spraying behavior sets in. Those two land back to back. There are other outstanding bills in addition to this in the hundreds I must meet.
The work I am doing is unpaid until the organizations I am with secure funding. I have interviews in motion and I am pushing on several at once, but nothing has landed and I cannot count on it landing by the weekend.
I would rather say that plainly now, while there is room to solve it, than on Saturday night when there is not. Plus bank transfers from GoFundMe take around 2 to 3 business days.
**For anyone new.** In late June we found a cat living outside in our Eugene, Oregon neighborhood. She weighed 6.7 pounds with her spine and hips showing, and she would walk up to food, start to eat, cry out, and back away, because eating hurt that badly. Her name is Boots. On July 21 she had nineteen teeth extracted. Her surgeon said her mouth was destroyed and that she had likely been enduring about the highest level of oral pain a cat can experience, and the tissue was too damaged to hold sutures. That surgery cost about $3,450 and was covered entirely by neighbors and by people on this subreddit, including one woman who paid off the remaining balance herself.
**Where the three of them are now.**
**Boots** turned ten in September. She is 8.26 pounds, her bloodwork normalized at her August recheck, and her vet does not need to see her again until spring. She stays on a low dose of prednisolone twice weekly to keep the inflammation in her mouth under control, likely for life. She eats dry food by choice now, which in July hurt far too much to attempt. Nineteen extractions means her mouth does not quite close the way it used to, so she drools in her sleep and wakes up doing a slow jaw-stretch, like someone working out a cramp. She gets it on her own tail. I wipe it off. That is apparently our arrangement now. She has also claimed a heating pad in her room that I have stopped pretending is mine.
**Sable**, a young tortoiseshell, came to me as an emergency foster in May after being abandoned. Cautious and slow to trust, which given her history is fair. She has decided that the sound of me clicking a mouse means laser pointer, so she turns up at my desk whenever I try to work.
**Cosimo** is a grey kitten, five months on Saturday. Vaccinated, neuter Monday. He is a menace in the way kittens that age are legally required to be. Sable is four times his size and still lets him pin her.
Those two have bonded and I will not separate them. Boots is still housed separately by choice, since her introduction to the other two is moving at her pace and I am not going to rush an animal who has been through what she has.
**For anyone who saw my earlier posts about needing housing.** We found a place. We moved on October 10, into a two bedroom on five wooded acres outside Eugene, with a landlord who approved all three cats and split the deposit rather than demanding everything up front. That happened because of people here, and because one person gave $1,900 the week before the move.
What is left is the ordinary part that follows it. Rent, the second half of the deposit, and furnishing an apartment from close to nothing after leaving a shared household where almost none of it was mine.
**What helps most, in order.**
**Sharing this.** A share costs nothing and reaches people I cannot reach on my own. It has done more for these cats than anything else I have tried, and if you have already given, it is worth more than giving again.
**Direct support** toward Sunday's rent, Cosimo's neuter on Monday, and keeping their care uninterrupted.
**Supplies.** Food and litter are the ongoing need. Message me if a Chewy gift card is easier than shipping.
**On the record.** Everything here is documented. I have Boots's and Cosimo's complete files from Echo Hollow Vet Hospital and Urgent Care in Eugene, including surgical records, bloodwork, and itemized invoices, and I completed full moderator verification here in July with the vet bill, photo ID, and direct clinic confirmation. Happy to provide records to anyone who asks.
I am not taking in more animals. Three is what I can responsibly care for, and getting these three through this intact is the whole goal.
Thank you to everyone who has already given, and to everyone who has shared.

Donations Needed Please help me feed over 80 cats. They are in need of dry food, kitten milk and baby cat wet food PH
Kindly help me with the week's cat food? The cats' weekly expenses alone are around $210, and it gets to around $270 whenever I have kittens to bottle-feed. The cats consume a bag of dry food a day. I also care for rescued dogs, so my actual weekly expenses are much more than this.
1 bag of 7kg dry food - $22
1 10L sand - $4
24 cans of cat wet food - $32
1 can of kitten milk - $32
1 set of babycat wet food - $28
Every dollar and every peso you donate means so much to me and the animals. Without your help, I would be drowning in debt trying to cover everything on my own. I can’t thank you all enough for helping me keep them fed and cared for.
Thank you for being part of their lives and for making this a little easier for me. I appreciate every single one of you more than you know❤

Veterinary Care Needed Donation Request ❤️ Please Help One of Catcun Colony’s OG Girls, Lainey 🐾 copy of estimate is in comments
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Lainey was one of the very first underweight kittens from Catcun Colony. She was just a tiny, 6-month-old girl when she came into our lives.
During our TNR efforts, we learned that Lainey has pulmonary stenosis and a grade 3 heart murmur. After attempting TNR and consulting with our vet, we were advised that she would be safest living indoors.
We never planned on taking in another cat, but we couldn't find a rescue or foster willing to take on this special-needs girl. We couldn't turn our backs on her, so we stepped up and gave her a home. ❤️
Today, our sweet Lainey isn't feeling well. She's been vomiting and just doesn't seem like herself. She's received her medications, but our vet wants to run bloodwork and do additional testing to figure out what's going on.
We're worried about our girl, and we want to get her the care she needs. As an independent rescuer, unexpected veterinary expenses can be difficult to manage, especially when you're already caring for an entire colony.
Lainey is one of our OGs. She's part of the reason Catcun Colony became what it is today, and she deserves every chance to feel better. 🐾
If you're able to contribute toward Lainey's veterinary care, any amount would help. If donating isn't possible, sharing her story means so much, too.
Thank you for caring about our little colony and the cats who become family along the way. ❤️
Please keep our Lainey in your thoughts. She deserves to get better. 🐾❤️

Donations Needed Cookie’s Treatment, Leo’s Special Diet & 50+Community Cats Need Your Help🙏FL
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Cookie was seen by the vet, and I wanted to share an update with everyone who has been following his story.
Thankfully, his left eye has cleared up, but his right eye is still swollen and has discharge. He is also still congested and sneezing, so we’re waiting for answers to help him feel better.
The vet collected swabs from Cookie’s eye and throat and sent them to the lab for testing. We should receive the results within 1–4 days. Once we know what is causing his symptoms, we’ll have a better idea of the treatment he needs. Cookie will require medication and continued veterinary care, and depending on the test results, he may need additional medications and follow-up visits.
The vet also found bacteria in one of his ears and yeast in both ears, so he is continuing his prescribed ear treatment. I want to make sure we address everything he is going through and give this little boy the best chance to recover.
During the same visit, the vet also prescribed a special hydrolyzed diet for Leo, who has been struggling with ongoing stool problems. We’re hoping this food will help us determine whether a food sensitivity is contributing to his digestive issues. It’s another expense, but I want to do everything I reasonably can to help him feel better, too.
I’ve included a link below where you can see Cookie’s vet bill and my rescue expenses.
And while caring for Cookie and Leo, I’m still feeding more than 50 community cats every single day. They depend on me for their food and water, and I continue working on TNR/TNVR (trap-neuter-vaccinate-return) to help prevent more kittens from being born outside.
The reality is that rescue expenses never stop. Between emergency vet visits, laboratory tests, medications, ongoing treatments, prescription food, regular cat food, litter, and other supplies, the costs add up quickly.
This year alone, my rescue’s medical expenses have exceeded $15,000. That amount doesn’t even include the food, litter, and supplies needed to care for the 50-plus community cats I feed daily.
I pay so much out of pocket and rely on my credit cards to keep up with the expenses. I do my best to keep going because these cats depend on me, but honestly, it can be overwhelming trying to manage everything while making sure none of them goes without the care they need.
If you’re able to help, any donation toward Cookie’s medications and continued care, Leo’s treatment, or the community cats would mean so much to us. Every little bit helps cover their needs. And if you can’t donate, sharing or upvoting this post can help it reach someone who might be able to help.
Thank you to everyone who has followed their stories, offered encouragement, and supported Luna & Nala Rescue. I’m hoping Cookie’s test results come back soon and that his treatment helps him recover. I’m also keeping my fingers crossed that Leo’s new food will finally bring him some relief.

Success Story/Happy Ending Woody is 24!
Woody when he was adopted. adoption papers 10 years ago and now our skinny old man
We adopted Woody (then named Colby) from our local animal care and adoption center in October 2016. I was looking for an orange senior cat and there he was! He was listed as 14 years old at that time. He has been a fantastic, friendly, fun and loving cat. Very popular in our neighborhood and with our friends. He has traveled with us all over the country from the midwest to Florida, Seattle and San Diego. He's slowed down of course ( who wouldn't at 112 people years?) but is still jumping up to furniture, eating well, enjoying supervised walks outside and giving us lots of love. Just a reminder that people shouldn't be afraid to adopt older cats. They may turn out to be like our boy. Cheers to Woody!

COMMUNITY APPRECIATION 💞 Honey looks sweet enough. Her face says we should stop mentioning it.
This is Honey, or Khani as we call her here. Looking at that golden fur, we really couldn't have named her anything else.
Although in the first photo she looks like we've just asked her to work a double shift. In the second, she's apparently willing to hear our offer. Payment in wet food, obviously.
She lives with us at Khvostyky, our rescue cat café in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. Our city faces Russian attacks too, and keeping the cats warm, fed, and cared for takes work even on the hardest days.
But yes, Honey, we still have time to admire you. It's clearly in our job description.

Rescue Help Needed Internal Process Disaster
The current process at the rescue organization is a disaster. Applications take 3 weeks to process. Applicants get discouraged. There is no follow-up. To make it worse, applicant processors are not checking to see if there was an already rejected application or if the person is on the do not adopt list.
The organization currently uses ShelterLuv.
The organization is foster based with over 300 cats in custody.
There are no data analytics or way to see applicant processing timelines.
I was thinking we could use DropBox to create files for each case.
I was also looking at Pawlytics, PawPlacer, and Buzzto the Rescue.

Amazon Wish List 🌷Please help feed our indoor rescues and three colonies including some sweet ferals at risk from a neighborhood Cat Karen.
Hi! I hope that you're all doing well.
If you've read some of my previous posts, then you may know that we inherited a colony of cats when my mother passed away last October.
We purchased a drop trap and neutered all 10 of those cats.
After that we bought a very large catio and placed it in my backyard.
With a lot of patience and persistence, we managed to relocate eight of my mom's colony to live in the catio at my house.
Unfortunately, two of the cats (Dreamsicle and Sparkles) refused to get in the drop trap, so they stayed behind in my mom's old neighborhood.
My son and I go and feed these kitties every night on the sidewalk several houses down from where mom's home was.
We feed them at night so as not to interfere with any people walking or jogging on the sidewalk
A few weeks ago the catio cats escaped the catio. Luckily six of them returned and have stayed living in our backyard.
The two kitties that left the catio and were missing (Sunny and Goldie), turned up with the two (the Dreamie gang) that live on my mom's block.
One of the escapees, "Sunny" had been wailing and crying every night for her brothers for months since her move to the catio. Now, they're reunited and happy.
Well, about two weeks ago as we were feeding the Dreamie gang, a lady across the street came out and told me to take all the cats with me because she doesn't want cats in her neighborhood because they spray her yard.
I explained how before my mom's house had sold, my sister and I trapped all the feral colony and got each one neutered, and then relocated most of them to my backyard.
I also informed her that we attempted to trap the two boys (Dreamie and Sparkles) a 2nd time (1st time was for neutering), but despite all our efforts we couldn't catch them.
I also let her know that the other two blondies that had recently showed up had lived in that neighborhood for years, but had escaped my backyard catio.
I stated that at least they were all fixed and wouldn't be reproducing.
The woman then threatened to call the San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition, to which I replied that I was a current member.
She proceeded to threaten to call animal control. However, I informed her that there's a city ordinance that allows feral cats to roam in San Antonio as long as they're neutered and that all these cats were.
She wasn't happy with my responses. I let her know that we were trying to feed them further down the sidewalk in an attempt to get them to my house, but that it would take time.
(Honestly, though it might not work because there aren't sidewalks near or on my block, and we don't want any cats to get hit by a car if we feed them on the street itself). Of course, I didn't tell Karen that, lol. She went back to her house.
We've continued to feed the Dreamie gang nightly, though we go after 10 pm to avoid the cat hating lady.
Long story long, whew! Thank you for reading this if you've made it this.
If you're able to help feed these rescues and colony kitties, we'd truly appreciate it. 💗🩵💜❤️💙💚🧡🩷🩵💜❤️💙💚💗🩵

Veterinary Care Needed Donation Request 💔 Our beautiful Wink survived maggot wounds near his eye, and now he’s battling wet FIP with fluid in his chest. 🥺 Please help us cover his vet bills and give him a chance to live. Every donation and share matters.

💔 PLEASE HELP WINK FIGHT WET FIP. HE DESERVES A CHANCE TO LIVE.
Meet our beautiful boy, **Wink**. ❤️
Wink was rescued by a kind fellow rescuer with maggots on the upper side of his eye. The damage left his eye area looking the way it does today, but to us, Wink has always been beautiful. His scars do not make him any less deserving of love. He is precious just the way he is. 🥹❤️🩹
But now, Wink is facing another battle. 💔 He has been diagnosed with **wet FIP, with pleural effusion fluid accumulating inside his chest cavity.** We have started his treatment, and we are praying with all our hearts that he responds well.
But we cannot do this alone. His veterinary bills, investigations, and treatment expenses are adding up, and we desperately need your kind support to continue his care.
Wink has already been through so much in his little life. He survived a terrible beginning, and now he is fighting for his life once again. All we want is to give him a fair chance to recover, feel better, and enjoy the love he has always deserved.
🙏 **Please help us cover Wink’s vet bills and FIP treatment.** Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to giving him that chance.
If you cannot donate, please share his story. Your kindness could reach someone who can help save him.
**Wink is not asking for much. He just needs a chance. Please don’t let him fight this battle alone.** 💔🐈⬛
Thank you for being his voice and standing beside him. 🙏❤️

Amazon Wish List URGENT: Critical kitten surrendered after being abused by local children. Rescue in need of supplies
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
**Warning, semi-graphic content.. but the updates should make up for it💛**
We operate an animal rescue in Türkiye responsible for a local colony with 200+ stray cats. Currently, we have 26cats receiving care at the rescue/in clinic, including Flower-the kitten mentioned in our title.
We were informed last week of a kitten who had been repeatedly thrown against the ground by local children. While the adults didn’t intervene, they did reach out after and we were able to secure her before she was entered into the municipality system. Here are details about her condition as well as our other urgent rescues.
Crisis Cases:
🐾 Flower - initial examination shows a broken leg, jaw and injured eye. She recently had a blood transfusion and is receiving aftercare treatment in clinic, but will be discharged tomorrow due to lack of funding.
Current cost: $600
🐾 Ares - suffers from chronic cystitis and is in need of more medication, as well as payment on an outstanding vet bill.
Current cost: $150
🐾 Minnos - is battling pancreatic insufficiency, diabetes, liver disease, and eczema. All of which require ongoing treatment.
Current cost: $550
With donations down, it’s our cats who pay the real price. Veterinary visits, medications, surgeries, special food, and emergency treatments have generated expenses that are becoming unsustainable on current platforms. So I’m here, humbly seeking the assistance of my fellow Reddit cat lovers. Each donation, no matter how small, can make a huge difference. Your kindness gives these animals a chance to heal, recover, and experience love and safety-many for the first time.
Due to translation issues with our veterinarian we are still awaiting full donation privileges, but life doesn’t wait for approval and our cats need help now. Purchasing items from our Amazon wishlist frees up funding for us to use on these critical cases. With the location of our rescue, the availability of products we’ve requested fluctuates. If an item is listed as unavailable generally you can click further down the list to find something that is. Language has also been noted as an issue, unfortunately we’re unable to change the language settings with our current distributor. Amazon suggests using the translation services in your personal browser.. We don’t want to discourage future supporters, and apologize greatly for any inconvenience. Hopefully we’ll be able to utilize other resources in the future. Until then we appreciate your patience.
For a full description of our rescue/background please see the introduction post on our page. Video shows current bills and crisis cases-in order as listed above.

Available for Adoption Fresno Nightcrawler - Phoenix, AZ
This is Fresno Nightcrawler! He was originally a TNR project, but due to his friendliness and health conditions, became a rescue intake. He's in foster with me and we're searching for his forever home!
- Location: Mesa, AZ (title says Phoenix for familiarity for more people. We have also partnered with transporters for out-of-state adoptions.)
- Age: Estimated 5 years old
- Health conditions: FIV+ (negative for FeLV and heartworms)
- Rescue info and adoption link: https://whiskeroutpost.com/current-campers
- Vaccinated (FVRCP, rabies), microchipped, dewormed, neutered
Fresno was a big tomcat, easily noticed via our porch camera by his awkward fluffy tail that didn't match his short-haired body. When we trapped him, we had to recover him in a kennel, and when moving him from the trap to the kennel we discovered he was obviously not feral, and allowed handling. Over time we've discovered he's actually a long-haired cat who was short-haired due to his outdoor life.
With hi friendly disposition, an FIV+ diagnosis, and knowing he had broken upper canines, we decided the best move would be to find him a home instead of returning him to a colony!
Over the course of 3 months he's been integrated into our household and is able to have supervised time with our adult cats. Due to the shape he was in when we found him, he seemed to be bullied outside a lot, and he continues to be insecure with adult cats - he flinches easily around them and tries to police the house. However, he loves playing and socializing with kittens.
All Fresno wants is to be the center of your attention. He follows humans around the house and prefers napping in the same room as a person, and loves forehead smoochies. I suspect he'll be a bit less human-focused in a house where he's less stressed about other cats. In the mornings when he's let out of his room he wants to play, play, play, then enjoys a snack and a late morning nap on my desk. (Usually on my keyboard... while I'm using it, of course.)
He loves catnip, kicker toys, wand toys, and zooming up cat trees. He does have a tendency to swat or nip (may go to bite but doesn't apply pressure) when frustrated rather than hissing. This has improved over time, and will likely happen less in a lower stress home, but I can't guarantee anything.
While we'd prefer he become an indoor-only cat, in the right situation he may be a good shop cat for some sort of bookstore or other chill business. Due to having his upper canines removed, I'm not sure he'd be a good barn cat for rodent control.
Please help spread the word. We love this cat so much - he deserves a happy retirement, and has many good years left in him. When you lay down on your back, he lays on your belly and chest to snooze. He head bumps people when he wants forehead smoochies, and has been calm every time we've had to take him to the vet, with a technician at one facility saying he was the chillest cat she's ever seen for a vet visit.
FIV is not a death sentence, and with regular vet care, it does not impact their lifespan. It's currently only considered transmitted via deep bite wounds, and he has not attempted that level of aggression with our cats - only chasing them from resources.
