[For Hire] Workflow automation, API integrations, scraping & data cleanup (Python, SQL, Linux) | Remote | $40/hr or fixed price/project
What I do
I automate repetitive business work so you stop doing it by hand. Typical jobs:
- Connecting tools through REST APIs and webhooks (CRMs, marketing automation, payment tools, spreadsheets, internal systems)
- Replacing manual CSV imports and exports with scheduled data syncs
- Spreadsheet automation: Excel macros, Google Sheets and Apps Script, auto-updating reports
- Web scraping and monitoring (prices, listings, availability, changes to a page) delivered to a sheet, database, or your inbox
- Data cleanup: deduplicating, reformatting, merging messy files, and converting between formats (CSV, Excel, JSON, XML)
- Bulk file and document processing: batch renaming, PDF text and table extraction, invoice and form data entry
- Email automation: parsing incoming messages, auto-sorting, scheduled reports, and notifications
- Custom Slack and Discord bots, plus alerts for things you currently check by hand
- Scheduled jobs and cron tasks, including fixing old scripts that keep breaking
- Small internal tools and dashboards: admin pages, forms, and lookups on top of your existing data
- Workflows that outgrew Zapier or Make: rebuilding them as reliable code without per-task pricing
- AI-assisted workflows, such as pulling structured data out of documents or drafting and categorizing messages, with human review built in
- Database work: SQL queries, cleanup, and performance tuning for MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Linux server setup and maintenance (Apache, Gunicorn, SSL, email, monitoring scripts)
- Site and hosting migrations with minimal downtime
If you're not sure whether your workflow is automatable, describe it and we can work something out.
Rates
$40/hr, or a fixed price once we agree on requirements. Small projects and one-off scripts are welcome. No free or speculative work.
