Jared Curtis

KJ looked much better last night, but Curtis is a true freshman and I think would be a great grab in the portal if we can snag him. I can't imagine he stays at Vandy next year.

Chances are he'll head to Georgia, though.

After our first SEC win in 722 days, I think we're all allowed to dream of possibly seeing slightly less abysmal days in our future.

I’d be shocked if he didn’t have a huge buyout at Vandy. This year should’ve been a wake up call to all the teams that spend a ton on freshmen qb’s. I’d be willing to bet he’s on a multi year deal with Vandy.

They’ve proven virtually impossible to enforce. I also don’t think he would’ve chose Vandy if they stipulated a massive buyout, he had all the power in that transaction.

I know these kids are being sued for NIL money back when they leave. Not sure if any of these have been settled yet.

I think the coaches see Hank Hendrix as the heir-apparent

Ah, that's a good point. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt he's gonna be ready for SEC play by next season. Unless KJ sticks around and finds his swagger (Saturday gave me some hope!), then I think we should be seriously concerned about our QB play going forward. Maybe Drake Lindsey will be ready to come home by then lol
