Spider-Man 3 He stole that guy's MARTINI!
Distance really does help this movie a lot. What sucks in it still sucks, but this scene and all the other "Jazz Mode" Peter scenes never were it for me. I always thought it was funny, I never laughed at it, I laughed with it.
Though I left it out of this set of gifs, the sequence it's bookended with darkness at the start and and the end and it's actually the peak of his ego fever, it's when he goes over the edge and takes a turn for the better, so yeah, it had to get big.
I feel so sorry for both MJ and Gwen in this. Gwen felt used in this, and she's probably gonna think of this night next time a date asks her for a dance. And MJ... Well. Shit. I don't even wanna know what was going through her head even before she was struck.

Holy Pilgrimage All differences in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man costumes
I am a huge Sam Raimi Spider-Man fan and this is a remake of a very old post I made years ago. This is me going crazy over all the tiny details of the Raimi suits lol. Thank you to u/Daredevil731 for helping me out a bit with the 2002 Classic Suit and William Spencer (Andrew Garfield's stuntman) for helping me out a bit with the 2021 Classic Suit. I have made similar posts for the Marc Webb and MCU Spider-Man suits as well. This is also a repost as my original posts from both in this subreddit and r/Spiderman were removed by Reddit's filters for some reason. Also, a minor change. I added a different photo for the Symbiote Suit.

All differences in the MCU Spider-Man costumes
------------------------------------------------------
The Human Spider:
The most obvious one in terms of differences.
1. It's just a quickly put together suit with a red ski mask, red long sleeved t-shirt that has black details for the webs and the logos (back logo is just a black version of the front logo).
2. The pants are just simple blue pants which, interestingly has a red stripe going down the sides of both his legs, which is something the suit from TASM1 also shares. Then he also has white and red gloves and shoes.
3. This suit also has the most obvious looking blue compared to the Classic suits, which have very dark blues that look like black in some shots.
4. This suit has some black detailing on the chest, which is where the spider logo and the webbing are placed. The torso is the only place with webbing. The webbing and spider logo are both flat and red on the torso while the back has a smaller, black version of the logo.
Classic Suit (2002):
1. This one has the biggest eyes out of all the Raimi Classic suits.
2. The lenses are light grey (almost white) with darker gunmetal grey eye frames and raised webs. Though some shots featured black lenses, which were originally considered for the film but eventually changed for the light grey lenses.
3. The front logo is the smallest out of all the Raimi logos while the back logo is the fattest one out of all the Raimi back logos, making it more accurate to the comics compared to the other Raimi logos.
4. It's also the only one with a printed back logo as the other Raimi suits have raised back logos attached to the suit. The back logo also has the hexagon pattern, which is something that continues with all the other Raimi suits as well.
5. The red sections on this suit is darker than on the other Raimi Classic suits while the blue sections are lighter compared to the others. They also have a vertically stretched out hexagonal brick pattern and also shaded muscles, which appear on all the red and blue Raimi suits after this.
6. This suit introduces raised webbing, which has been used on many live action Spider-Man suits since this film. The webbing in this film are a shiny, gunmetal silver color made using urethene and they remained being made from urethene until 2021. The webs overall are not as cleanly placed as the 2004 and 2007 suits. The hands also have much less webs on them compared to the other suits. Some promotional images show the suit not even having webs on the fingers. The horizontal webs between each vertical web line has a curve to them and some web lines stop abruptly in random areas. Unlike the comics, Tobey's masks' webbing do not feature the circle between the eyes and instead the upper webs and lower webs on the mask just reach to a point instead of a circle.
7. Something unique to this suit is that it has nozzles on the wrists for the webs to come out, though they only appear in a few shots and it's weird how it has never returned on any of the other Raimi suits.
8. Another thing unique to this suit are the grey soles on the bottom of the boots, which never returned in any of the other Raimi suits except the PC/Console version of TASM1 game, which has the Classic Suit, which is the red and blue Raimi suit of the game and it has the grey soles returning.
9. Something this suit introduced and was consistent till 2007 was the way the belt not only had the traditional downward facing pointy tip on the front, but also on the back.
10. This suit has a much rounder faceshell compared to the sequels where they are sharper and much more boxy looking.
Classic Suit (2004):
1. The reds have become a bit lighter while the blues have become darker. The greys are also brighter this time.
2. The webs have become a bit thicker too. They are also more cleanly placed than 2002, thus giving the webs a sharper look. The hands also have more webbing, giving it a more even look though it has become less shiny this time.
3. This time, the suit loses the web nozzles, which never returned after 2002. I've always wondered how the webs came out of the post-2002 suits.
4. The front logo is redesigned completely. It's much bigger and slightly more intimidating compared to the 2002 logo. It's also in a lighter color compared to the 2002 logo but due to its larger size, it doesn't look messy. It's also placed a bit higher too. The lower legs are spread apart slightly more compared to the 2007 and 2021 variations of this logo.
5. The back logo is also heavily redesigned to be much thinner and it's also a raised element like the webs. Much like the front logo, the lower legs are spread apart slightly more than the 2007 and 2021 variations of this logo. It still retains the hexagonal brick pattern.
6. The eyes also change a bit as they are slightly squinty this time and the eye frames have become thicker too. The lenses are also darker and in some shots, the lenses have a dark shaded outline around them, which isn't visible in some shots.
7. This suit onwards the boots' soles are changed to red and never turn grey in any of the later Raimi suits.
8. The faceshell for this suit was much sharper looking. The jaw looks very sharp on this faceshell.
Classic Suit (2007):
Barely any different from the 2004 version but it still has some minor differences.
1. The reds are lighter again and the blues are darker again. The blues are also a tiny bit purplish this time though it's not super visible.
2. The greys have become even lighter this time, with the lenses and the eye frames almost being the same shade this time. The lenses are lighter than 2004 this time and lacks the dark shaded outlines that sometimes appeared in 2004. The eyes also became a bit bigger than 2004 but still smaller than 2002 and the eye frames are a bit thinner compared to 2004. The webs are also thicker than the 2004 ones.
3. Both the front and back logos have less spread out lower legs compared to 2004 and they are a bit more closed packed. The back logo has become shinier this time.
4. This is overall the cleanest and most high quality looking Raimi Classic suit (weird since Peter is a broke guy, making the Human Spider suit the only realistic Raimi suit) and it's also my favorite one.
5. The faceshell this time around doesn't seem to be as sharp as the 2004 one but it's definitely sharper than the 2002 one.
Symbiote Suit:
This isn't just a black recolored 2007 Classic Suit. It's got some stuff unique to this suit.
1. All the red and blue sections have been recolored to black this time. The muscle shading still returns on this suit. Some set photos show this suit having a blue hue under very bright lighting, which also looks like purple in some shots, though the movie does not show that.
2. The logos are very different as they become more aggressive and menacing looking. The front and back logos are also not the same. The back logo is a bit different.
3. The hexagon pattern looks more hexagonal at times but still mostly resembles the more brick type hexagon pattern from the previous suits. This hexagon pattern is much more visible due to them being a bit raised this time and they are a shiny black, which gives the suit a shiny look which is something to be expected from Symbiote suits. Though this suit still manages to look like a fabric suit too which some modern Symbiote suits don't do. The muscle shading still returns here.
4. The eyes have also become much bigger and curved which gives a more menacing look to them. The frames are also a bit thicker compared to the Classic Suit. The lenses in some shots however, look a tiny bit yellowish and smoky and much shinier while in other shots looked like a light, non-smoky grey that was lighter than the eye frames. The webs however, aren't as raised as the Classic Suits.
5. The shape of the faceshell doesn't seem to have much of a difference compared to the 2007 Classic Suit's faceshell except for the holes for the eyes since this suit has much bigger eyes.
Classic Suit (2021)
Due to the Trilogy suits deteriorating because of their age, the studio had to make a new costume for Tobey Maguire and his stuntman to wear in Spider-Man: No Way Home. According the stuntman William Spencer, the people behind the film wanted a more streamlined suit, which is why it looks the way it does in the film and while I love this suit like I love all the other Raimi suits, many people seem to dislike this suit a lot.
1. The reds and blues on this suit are the darkest out of all the Raimi suits. The hexagon pattern also returns but it's not as visible as the older suits. The suit also uses a shinier material as well.
2. The webs are much lighter colored and also the thinnest out of all the Raimi suits. They also don't seem to be as cleanly applied and as raised as the Trilogy suits. They don't seem to be made using urethene like the original Trilogy suits' webbing. Due to the more modern suit making process, the webs are much thinner and much less raised. They are also placed differently compared to the Trilogy suit as they seem to be simplified and more streamlined this time. The horizontal webs between the vertical web lines do not curve as much as they did on the Trilogy suits. The webs on the abdomen go down in a sharper V shape compared to the Trilogy suits. The webbing above the belt also curve a bit, giving Tobey's abdomen a slightly pudgy look which I'm not a fan of. The web line right below the spider's body is raised up, which makes the suit's webbing not be evenly spaced out anymore. There isn't as much depth to the webs as they had in the Trilogy. The mask also got a major redesign as the webs on the upper section of the mask are spaced out a lot while on the lower section, they are much more tightly packed, two of the webs bend at an angle and have an additional fifth webbing on the nose area. The point where the upper and lower webs meet is also redesigned to be an oval shape instead of just the webs meeting at a point like the older suits.
3. The spider logos also got some changes. The front logo is a bit messily applied and on both the front and back logos, the lower legs don't spread out as much as 2004 and aren't as closely packed as 2007. They seem to go down in a straight direction on both logos. The back logo, which retains the shiny look from Spider-Man 3, also has a raised outline to it, which is an interesting change.
4. The eyes also changed, with them being almost as big as the 2002 eyes. They are softer and less sharp compared to the Trilogy eyes and the colors went from gunmetal silver frames and silver eyes to black frames and white lenses, which I love actually.
5. While traditional, downward facing, pointy tip belt was remained that way on the front, it was rounded out on the back, meaning it's lacks the pointy tip on the back.
6. The face shell used on the practical 2021 Classic suit seems to be much softer compared to the Trilogy ones. But it doesn't matter since whenever Tobey and Andrew are seen with their masks on, the masks are always CGI except for one scene with Andrew and it's the one where he's talking to Electro right before the Lizard attacks Tobey.
To conclude this, I love all the Raimi suits and there might be more differences that I haven't discovered yet. Who knows? All I know is that I love these suits, I love these movies and I would be so happy if Marvel revisits this universe again some day.

Groovypost What I love about the Raimi Trilogy and I don't know if this is just me but I love how the cast is mostly lesser known names and character actors, makes the movies give off an indie vibe to me.
Normally if this was any other 2000s movie franchise they would have cast Tom Cruise as Norman, Paul Walker as Pete, Jessica Alba as MJ and so on. But these movies aged as well as they have due to the excellent cast, not in spite of them.

Spider-Man 1 A very interesting What If scenario for the 2002 film. Also contains a better Goblin design than the one in the third film.
