General Advice Second ragdoll?
Please help me decide if I should get a second ragdoll! I got my Ragdoll a little over a month ago and I am absolutely in love. He is so sweet kind cuddly playful curious (and adorable), everything you would hope. I think I always expected to get a second but not this soon. My breather told me that she’s going to have another litter in about two weeks and I can get one if I like. I absolutely love my breeder and she retires and one to two years. My Ragdoll is home alone probably 2 to 3 days of the week. I have a camera and will sometimes notice him meowing at the door but seems like he spends a lot of the day playing and sleeping. He seems happy to me but I am sure him having a friend would help those days alone. I think my thing it really feels like me and my partner have a really sweet family us three with her kitty. I keep on reading online that it’s good to get a second one when you’re first still young. I guess I just worry that we have such a strong bond forming with her first one and getting another get in the way with that. Would appreciate all thoughts!! Thank you!!

I got 2 sisters together and never regretted it. They are lovely quirky little dolls and complement the 2 boys (regular barn cats).

I just got my second one last week and I highly recommend. My boy is 4 years old and has already accepted the kitten. Highly recommend, as I am also gone for work 10-12 hours a day 3 days a week.

yes definitely! i would always recommend people to get two kittens, it’s so much better for them. in many ways easier for you, because they play together a lot. my ragdoll got a shelter cat sister just before he turned 1 and he’s never been happier :)

Yes I just got my 3rd one and I’m 75, My 5 year old girl instantly took up with the kitten and mothered it.
They play chase each other. Just know that each one will have their own unique personality and require individual attention from you. But it’s constant kitty liver around here. Never a dull moment

Yess! Also, the sooner the better :) they'll be a similar age, bond more easily and can enjoy their most playful years together.
