Maybe you are hungry. But the stomach needs to make room for food, so you need to poop. But the pre poop feeling is making you nervous. Vicious loop really

2 GA for the first show? Nice. I got 3 GA for the Wednesday Melbourne show, didn't dare try for the opening night :D
I must have got lucky, I was in the queue for 3 minutes and got my purchase confirmation email at 9:05. Smooth as.

u/sharkbiscuit101 Sep 15 '26
Yes! I was queuing for Friday and opening day and I the opening day queue went really fast in comparison. I recieved my confirmation email by 9.11AM!
1
u/tj_is_da_man Sep 15 '26
I was in queue for 50min. GA was sold out for every night but still got seats
1
u/New_Tap4159 Sep 15 '26
I was in the queue for 50 mins. Still managed to get 3 GA for Wednesday. A mate tried for Thursday and ended up with nose bleeds. The obscure Wednesday show was definitely a clever choice to go for.

u/yellowbricks505 Sep 14 '26
how long was it on the "its your turn" screen. mines been 5mins...
1
u/sharkbiscuit101 Sep 15 '26
Probably around 5 mins for me. Hope you managed to secure some tickets?

I've given birth twice, I've got advanced degrees, I have climbed mountains, but this is literally the hardest thing I've ever done
5
u/Same-Turnip3905 Sep 15 '26
Don't do a knock down rebuilt. That was painful.
Also, getting Ghibli Museum tickets was no fun either.
1
u/normie_girl Sep 15 '26
My friend is trying to do a rebuild from a crumbling 120 year old house, that's even worse lmao. Unless you enjoy spending 100s of thousands of dollars and arguing with tradies.
2
u/Same-Turnip3905 Sep 15 '26
Yes, we lived in our house for 16 years before deciding in the knock down. I understand that too.

I'd love to know the rationale for opening ticket sales on a weekday at the time a lot of people have to start work, school etc.

When Taylor Swift tickets went live, our entire office shut pretty much shut down as more than half of us were all glued to our computers in the queue. It was like a national sport.

1
u/jcrb32 Sep 15 '26
Taylor didnāt have a queue. It was a randomised lottery style waiting room, which is why some people never got through. Ticketek didnāt want to use the queueing feature.

u/brutalgash Sep 15 '26
I reached the front of the queue during a really important meeting, then had 3 payment methods fail for no apparent reason and the timer ran out.
Thankfully was able to rejoin the queue and eventually got tickets but fuck me I think I aged 10 years.

The site is screwing up - i picked the tickets and its been 'finding tickets' for 10 mins, then tellingh me my connection is unstable. Utter bullshit.
1
u/redavado Sep 15 '26
I got that 3 times! When it finally looked like it was working, it said my session expired. Lol. Took an hour of re-queueing several times to snag 2 obstructed view tix
2
u/Glorfindel_78 Sep 15 '26
Absolutely the same experience! I panicked and jumped out of the ticket purgatory three times before I clicked on tickets that appeared to be available and hadnāt sold. My cortisol was at all time levels!
1
u/4seasonsin1day Sep 15 '26
Same thing happened to me (for GA). I rolled the dice and refreshed and GA was all gone. Managed to get two seated. Cost me an extra $300. Maybe I shouldn't have refreshed but that error message really threw me.

If everyone could jump off and let me through that'll be great, thanks.

u/Notbadlurking Sep 14 '26
Might be time to start a rumour that refreshing your browser lets you jump the queue.
6
u/Charpar919 Sep 14 '26
Anyone else having issues with the "hold tight as we find your tickets page" on AXS?
3
u/Charpar919 Sep 14 '26
Eventually let me progress past after I refreshed, GA were gone at that point but got 4 seats and it went thru quick, you can refresh from that screen and it lets you enter your code again, and pick seats

2
u/grace_lizabeth Sep 14 '26
yes bro itās not fucking loading iāve refreshed deadass three seperate times and selected tickets but itās saying the same shit
2
u/Charpar919 Sep 14 '26
Every now and then it tells me my connection is not secure, then it just keeps going on the 'Just a sec!'

u/JimmyLizzardATDVM Sep 14 '26
A truly shitty purchasing experience.
Honestly I prefer the old days of a free for all.
Every time we were checking out with standing tickets, āsorry these are no longer availableā
I am still very thankful we got seating, just an actual ticket, but I honestly donāt like sitting at a gig, it feels weird and too formal but bands continue to book venues that are mostly seating. Annoying but hey, weāre going.
4
u/Balt603 Sep 15 '26
That was an awesome experience - I say that as someone who went through the pure hell of 2011 and ended up getting totally reamed by a scalper for a single seated ticket.
1
u/GlenelgGunner Sep 15 '26
Totally agree. Terrible experience. Took the day off work. Did everything before hand as suggested. As soon as I got in picked 2 GA tickets went to pay and waited 25 minutes while it said āJust a secā didnāt dare refresh or have other tabs open as they suggested only to lose the tickets and end up scurrying for a seated ticket for an extra $160.
Like you said extremely thankful to be going but hate sitting at a concert.
2
u/JimmyLizzardATDVM Sep 15 '26
Sucks man, I just donāt understand why bands, rock bands especially; play a majority seated venue.
But yeh exactly the same thing for us - waited 15 mins woth GA tickets, only to be told right at check out sorry gone.
Dumb.

u/VertsAFeuilles Sep 15 '26
I GOT TICKETS!!!! I got a rejection email but thankfully we were smart and a bunch of us registered.
Sydney 25th May!!!!! Iām so excited.

For anyone wondering, still seems to be plenty of tickets for good seats for a fair few dates (sydney at least). Just paid myself after having to queue from 40K twice.
I got to the tickets from 36K in queue when it opened, chose the tuesday Sydney June 1st date, dallied a little choosing seats, google pay failed and burned a few minutes of my time more, couldn't enter CC details in time and got booted.
Went back in queue, was at 40K. Waited again and bought tickets pretty much the same as before.
All 4 seats together. Cat A in the middle (closest) section.
Guessing the weekend dates/GA wont be that free though. Didnt check those.

u/Appropriate-Basil392 Sep 15 '26
