Second parent adoption - Delaware
Looking for advice.
Has anyone completed a second parent adoption in Delaware? Was there a site or service you used that you can recommend? How did you get started?
My wife and I (lesbian couple) did reciprocal IVF and now our little one is here. I want to make sure we are fully protected nation wide. I understand the laws in Delaware are inclusive but in this political climate we would like extra protection as I’m sure you all can understand.

Not in Delaware, but in Michigan I started by googling “assisted reproductive technology lawyer” and calling them. Not everyone does everything, but in our experience those who did gamete donation also knew second parent adoption, though second parent adoption by itself might be easier. Obviously ymmv.
You could try adoptionart.org (the association of adoption and assisted reproduction lawyers) but we didn’t get super far with their list, more lawyers practice in it than are listed.
