Rule of Rose PS2 PAL
Do you know why there are no used copies of *Rule of Rose* available? On auction sites, I only see new games still in their plastic wrap. Are they genuine?

SOCOM US Navy Seals, Wakeboarding Featuring Shaun Murray and TOCA 3 Driver Challenge are all out. Gone. Finished. Eliminated. However there are still a lot of games who find themselves on the chopping block. Remember for tiebreakers, you’re voting for games you want to save. Five of these games can live to fight another day, but the remaining seven join Shaun Murray tomorrow morning.
Here’s the strawpoll: https://strawpoll.com/XOgOV5odXn3 remember you can leave behind a Reddit comment too.

been slowly growing my ps2 collection for a little over a year and i'm pretty proud of what i've been able to collect so far. my goal is to get a curated library of games that i actually care about, and i've checked most of my boxes tbh. once i graduate and i get the job i've been training for, i should be able to complete my collection pretty quickly and move on to ps1 and gamecube
(feel free to ignore the blurays, ps3, and ps4 games)

I usually pack pretty light for trips but still end up with a few games in my carry on. I keep grabbing stuff I know I'll want if I get stuck somewhere with bad weather. The weight adds up fast though, so I've started looking at which titles are actually worth keeping around for that reason. Racing games and shorter experiences usually make the cut because I can drop in for an hour without feeling like I'm leaving something unfinished. Longer RPGs just stay home since I won't finish them before the next flight. Curious if other people treat their collection the same way or if most just grab whatever looks good at the time. Some titles feel like dead weight once you actually get on the road.

I bought a scph 18000 and I want to know what I should do about going from a 100 volt power supply to a 120 volt power supply. Or should I get a converter? What kind of converter do you guys recommend?

After much thought (not really) I decided I think the most authentic and optimal way to play PS2 is on a bc ps3 connected to an hd crt with component cables, with smoothing turned on. Has anyone ever had this setup?

Howdy yall. Just picked up a fat PS2 recently and will be looking to try some games out on in that I missed from my childhood. I will pretty much play any genre. I am however one of those nerds who always looks for the "definitive" or "best" way to play a game. I have access to a PC and several consoles so I likely can get access to the "best" way to play any given game.
With a large amount of the library having ports, remasters and remakes, I'm curious, what are some of yalls picks for the games best experienced on an actually PS2 with a CRT?

Hey all, I just got a PS2 and I’m really looking forward to experiencing it AND the PS1’s library but I’m just curious what some of the actual must plays are? Sonys been pretty good with remastering and remaking their old games but I know these aren’t all perfect but a lot of them are a LOT cheaper than their original versions (looking at you silent hill 2). Im just curious which games are the best and also worth playing over the remakes and vice versa. Let me know what you think!

One of the best games for the PS2. It's second for me first will always be Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 but this is still an amazing, classic game that's deserving of all the praise it gets! Truly a game that deserves a remaster!

So, I wanted to play some Arc the Lad, but my TV has no component/AV input so I got a converter. But, the entire thing is displaying in black and white? Anyone know why?
My console is an NTSC slim, and ive included a picture of the converter and the TV is a Samsung U8000H series.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
