Pro-Life General Sad
Its sad to see anyone support the prochoice position, but its even sadder to see mom's support the prochoice position, because surely they at some point acknowledge that their child at one point either wasnt human or that they were human, but didn't deserve protection based on "bodily autonomy."
I think its completely fine to say pregnancy often isnt a very good or enjoyable experience. I think its fine for mom's to speak up about their struggles and be very blunt about what motherhood looks like. But I dont think struggling through pregnancy is enough to justify the killing of human children and its sad to see mom's advocate for a position that kills other children just like theirs.

Birth can be horrific and traumatic— usually because women do not have advocates or informed, kind, competent professionals to help, which this lady here mentions and glosses over completely. The hospital staff were telling her to what?? That’s insane and unacceptable and actually has nothing to do with whether your baby is wanted or not

Right. Unfortunately, medical malpractice isnt limited to childbirth. I cant remember if she said she took any action against them or not. Telling a woman to keep her child in until the doctor comes is unacceptable and its sadly not the first time ive heard a hospital telling a woman that. For some reason, hospitals are big on doctors being the one to deliver the baby. Youd think however if its so important that theyd be there at the start of labor 🙄 often times theyre no where to be found. Its really gross how the medical system treats people.

Happened to me with my first 🤣 to be fair though, i showed up crowning, and it wasnt nessisarily "keep her in" it was more like, try not to push while we call the on call doctor which sounded okay to me at the time because I was terrified to push without drugs.... which never happed anyways ugh.

I know my MIL was HELD IN BY A NURSE as in THE NURSE PUSHED HER HEAD TO KEEP HER IN HER MOM it gave her brain damage I just am glad she was alright in the end... It's disgusting how this goes but certainly not an argument to murder the baby

I used to follow her and I made a comment criticizing her pro-choice view in a kind way and she blocked me

Getting induced on your DUE DATE after being diagnosed with preeclampsia is a blessing in itself. As u/bbslut5503 said, education is the difference. Being well informed can allow you to go from feeling like things are "traumatic" and happening to you versus feeling prepared to make tough decisions when things don't go the way you planned.

I had an extremely traumatic first birth- it almost killed me. I feel for her emotionally, but our birth experiences do not moralize the slaughter of the unborn.

I can’t believe these people can’t comprehend the concept of ADULT FUN TIME coming with ADULT RESPONSIBILITIES. LIFE is uncomfortable, GET OVER IT!!! You don’t get to murder someone that YOU FORCED TO BE DEPENDANT ON YOU just because “it’s uncomfortable” or “scary.” I’m literally sick to my stomach
