7 weeks by LMP but TVS showed 6 weeks 0 days. Saw only gestational sac and yolk sac no fetal pole. What ya’ll think? Going to rescan after 12 days although they said to wait 2 weeks to rescan. This is my first pregnancy, I’m supposed to be 8 weeks by LMP today and have absolutely no symptoms at all.

Question What's been the hardest part about exercising during pregnancy?

For those of you trying to stay active during pregnancy, I'm curious what the biggest challenge has been.

Is it knowing which exercises are safe, finding the energy, staying consistent, dealing with changes in your body, or something else entirely?

I feel like people talk a lot about the benefits of staying active, but not always about how hard it can be to actually make it happen.

What's been the most frustrating part for you?

Heart monitor

Hi everyone! I’m currently 17 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing heart flutters, dizziness that comes and goes, occasional shortness of breath, and pressure under my left breast. My doctors have suggested wearing a 7-day Holter monitor & scheduling an appointment with a cardiologist because all my blood work came back normal. I’m honestly really scared and worried about my heart, especially because I have a toddler and another baby on the way. Has anyone experienced similar symptoms during pregnancy? Did you wear a Holter monitor, and did you get answers? I know everyone’s situation is different, but I could really use some reassurance and hear about others’ experiences. ❤️

Need advice 4 weeks pregnant & need urgent RCT, but endodontist requires OB clearance. What are my options?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I’m about 5 weeks pregnant, & I’m currently dealing with a pretty severe dental pain. Last Thursday, I went to my general dentist because of tooth decay in my lower-left molar (#18). She cleaned & prepared the tooth but determined that I need a root canal before she can complete the filling. She placed a temporary crown & referred me to an endodontist.

I saw the endodontist the next day (Friday), but that same morning I found out I was pregnant. The endodontist said they need a clearance letter from my OB before they can do the root canal. The problem is that my first OB appointment isn’t until mid-November, & I’ve called several OB/GYN offices trying to get seen sooner. Most have told me they won’t see patients until 6–8 weeks pregnant, and they can’t provide a clearance letter without seeing me. I have severe throbbing pain around the tooth that radiates into my left jaw and temple. I can barely clench my teeth and I’m having a hard time eating and drinking. The pain goes away with Tylenol, but comes back when it wears off.

I’m worried about the infection and so stressed about having to wait several weeks for the RCT with this much excruciating pain. For anyone who’s have been in similar position:

- How do I work past this administrative loophole?
- Would an OB provide a letter without an in-person appointment?
- Would urgent care be able to help me with clearance letter or emergency dental work?

I am located in U.S. and any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Need advice 6w2d ultrasound — yolk sac, no fetal pole, and large 5.8 cm complex hematoma. Looking for similar experiences.

I’m hoping someone here has experienced something similar because I’m getting very few answers, and the uncertainty is incredibly difficult.
Pregnancy history:
LMP: September 9, 2026
Very regular 28–30 day cycles
Ovulation appears to have occurred late, around September 27–30, based on LH testing
First positive pregnancy test: October 11
Previous blighted ovum/miscarriage in August 2026
Bloodwork:
October 12: hCG 855, progesterone 17
October 15: hCG 3,128
October 22: hCG 23,132
October 24: progesterone 19.9 (no supplementation)
Ultrasound — October 26:
I had a transvaginal ultrasound at approximately 6w5d based on my LMP, although I believe I may be slightly earlier because of late ovulation.
Findings:
Gestational sac measuring approximately 6 weeks 2 days
Gestational sac measurement: [insert measurement in mm]
Yolk sac visible
No fetal pole identified
No heartbeat identified
Gestational sac appeared somewhat irregular in shape to me
A large, approximately 5.8 cm complex area was identified around my uterus/gestational sac, suspected to be a hematoma, although the sonographer couldn’t definitively confirm whether it was blood or another fluid collection
The sonographer explained that the complex area appeared to involve a significant portion of the surrounding area rather than being one obvious, clearly defined pocket.
Bleeding and symptoms:
On October 20, I suddenly began bleeding without significant cramping. The blood was watery and reddish-brown to red, but I never had heavy bleeding, large clots, or identifiable tissue passage.
The bleeding gradually turned brown and stopped after several days.
I’ve continued experiencing pregnancy symptoms, including significant nausea, breast tenderness, and fatigue.
My biggest concerns/questions:
Has anyone measured 6w2d with a yolk sac but no fetal pole and gone on to see a healthy embryo and heartbeat at a follow-up ultrasound?
Has anyone experienced a hematoma or complex fluid collection as large as 5.8 cm this early in pregnancy?
Can a large hematoma distort the appearance or shape of the gestational sac?
Has anyone had an irregular-looking gestational sac that later developed normally?
Has anyone experienced a similar ultrasound after bleeding and still had a viable pregnancy?
I have another ultrasound scheduled for November 6, which will be 11 days after my first scan.
I’m especially interested in hearing from anyone with similar measurements or ultrasound findings, whether your outcome was positive or negative. I’m not looking for false reassurance. I just want to understand what other people have experienced.
Thank you to anyone willing to share. ❤️

Need advice Insomnia at First Trimester

Anyone else experiencing insomnia during the first trimester? I’m currently 9 weeks pregnant, and I can barely sleep. I usually get only around 3 hours of sleep per night.
It’s hard to explain, but it feels like my senses are extremely sensitive. Even the slightest sound or sudden movement can wake me up, and sometimes, just falling asleep in the first place is a struggle.
I brought this up with my family doctor, but she didn’t recommend anything. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what helped you manage it?
I’m getting worried that not getting enough sleep might affect my baby’s growth and development. I would really appreciate any advice or experiences you could share. ❤️

Support Only Freaking out over HCG Test

This is not the first time I've been pregnant. In fact I think the timing of when I found out with the first is similar to now. My point being my HCG draw levels are vastly different and making me anxious. So I got my first positive test Saturday. It was a dye stealer. I have an irregular cycle but was tracking ovulation and hit my peak the week of 9/20. Last period started 9/1 tested at 12 DPO got a BFN. Anyway had my first blood draw today and the results were 2,396mIU/mL. With my first they were over 18k and did bother having me repeat the test. My doctor has seen the results yet and my first appointment is Thursday so just looking to calm my nerves in the meantime. Did anyone else have vastly different levels from the first to their second?

Food questions

Hi there I’m pregnant with my first baby and I’m still learning what is safe and what isn’t safe. I just had a gender reveal (it’s a boy! 💙) and we had a ton of leftovers which we took home. It couldn’t have been out for eating for more than a few hours but I’ve heard to toss it if it’s been out for two. A lot of it was freshly made there and everything else was refrigerated until people got there. We are tight at the end of the month this month for food and I really want to eat the left overs plus it sounds good. Is food safe that has been out for a few hours or do I need to search for something in my cabinet? I’d really hate to toss the food we had, it was Mexican so one of my favorites. I’m tired of asking AI so I would really like some real advice from real people. Ive always had a strong stomach and had left over party food but I’m not sure how much that helps me here.
