Great new record from this band.

The Church surely deserve a lot more consideration than they have. I love this band.

I'm not talking about new wave or victorian music, I'm talking about goth songs made by artists that have nothing to do with the scene.

Paint it black sounds 100% like a song that could have been made by Siouxsie and the Banshees. Another song that I love is People are strange by The Doors, it sounds made for halloween! Not long ago I read someone saying Like a prayer by Madonna was a song that used to be played at clubs in the 80's, and I see the vision. Does anyone have recommendations?

I used to get my music news either from Brooklyn Vegan or straight from the source. Now that BV is hardly active I feel like I’m in a desert when it comes to music news. What’s everyone source of information on new and emerging artists? I don’t like Pitchfork, Consequence of Sound, Rolling Stone, ect.
