No soviet union reborn in western europe without learning any lessons about centralization from previous soviet union.

I find it funny how Wales is always depicted siding with England I think Brexit is the one of the few instances we’ve decided on the same thing, now that’ll never be forgotten

An absolutely beautiful comic! I'm baffled why this didn't blow up and get thousands of upvotes. Well, at least I had a good laugh.

Germany is getting a little swollen for his circumference, no?

I can’t for the life of me figure out what in tarnation ya mean. Are ya saying Germany is drawn too wide or that he’s too big for his britches?

He looks like he is getting fat, like America, is all I mean. Though I guess he is equal to Britain in the first panel.

I know Polandball’s history tends to be “ironically” (read:lazily) spotty/bad at times (e.g. the Maginot myth, Britain having sympathy for Belgium and France), but Ireland really should not be inside the UK, let alone using that flag.

Still the wrong flag. And even if you’re going for an intelligible Norn Iron, it really shouldn’t be rebelling against England.

I think he either can't tell the difference between the Republic of Ireland or he's taking Saint Patrick's Saltire to mean all of Ireland or something else that wouldn't "count" for current NI.

Well the majority in NI voted to stay in the EU (56%), that's enough to be considered valid as England voted to leave with 53%. I think the red hand of Ulster flag should be used when representing NI. You got to understand NI, is bipolar one half loves the UK, the other half dislikes it. It be more likely NI is destroying itself rather than go after the Welsh.

As an Irishman, I say go back to fucking Maple Syrup and eating hockey! Canadians do those things, right?

1

u/[deleted] Dec 15 '17

Did you just forget that Northern Ireland exists? Come on Canada, like half your population descend from Ireland and Britain.

u/Gruntagen Dec 15 '17

No, I didn’t. I’m sorry I wasn’t clear enough, but I was protesting to the use of the 1800s Irish flag standing in for North Ireland.
