I'm happy to have gotten a shiny so soon into my time playing Pokémon Go, especially of my favorite Pokémon, but I wish I could have been lucky enough to get a semi-good version of it. 😥

Every time you tap the screen too much of everything happens, be it an unskippable 3-second animation or the same sound that plays when you press anything in the same section. Why can't we skip the evolution sequence? Why does your buddy pokemon just stare at you for like 5 seconds before joining once it's fed? Do we really need to wait at least 30 seconds just to start a solo raid, then 10 more seconds before it begins, and then watch the defeated pokemon shrink just to end up looking as usual as if we didn't just kick its ass? After all, why are advanced graphics settings so far from being advanced? Why does every Team GO Rocket member have to 1) be fully displayed on the map; 2) say 4 separate lines AND hit 3 different poses before you can start the battle? Why is there still no option to mass accept and send gifts? What if I don't want to see pumpkins scattered around every damn PokeStop draining my battery x2? WHY IS EVERYTHING SO SLOW and don't even get started with the BUT MUH IMMERSION stuff. I've been playing since the release day and the gameplay speed didn't really bother me back then but now that I'm an adult who only has time to play on the way to and from work I'm irritated

My wife and I play the game together and the catch results screen looks different between myself and her and we are curious if anyone else is seeing my style.

Hey, it’s showcase day and I’ve been catching pumpkaboos cause Halloween event.
I am entering into a biggest grass type showcase, and noticed that my XXL pumpkaboo is worth fewer points than a seemingly normal sized one.
Can anyone explain this to me? Is there something unique about pumpkaboo I don’t know?

Finally get a hundo and he's not evolvable so he's like useless? All the other event mons are evolvable so why not piplup??

I am constantly seeing people on reddit bragging about going into google street view for confirmation, quoting the guidelines for every minute detail, etc. I genuinely don't understand what motivates someone to do moderation work. Like, isn't having more stops beneficial to everyone in that community? What is the appeal of doing free moderation work for a company and actively moving against players' interests?

There has to be something I am missing, right?

Hey guys, I need some help. Ever since Mimikyu was added to Pokemon Go, I've been grinding trying to catch one since its literally my favorite pokemon. However, I can not find one to save my life, and before you ask, yes, Ive been going on walks around my neighborhood with my daily incense active, but still nothing. So can someone please give me some advice or something on how to find and catch one of these things, because I do not want my first Mimikyu to be acquired through trading.

Edit: Everyone just saying, "Oh I found this many when I did it," or, "I got this many back to back," need to stop. Its obvious Im not anywhere near as lucky and you are not being helpful. I do not care that you did it, all you're doing is making me angry because the game isnt being as lucky for me as it is for seeningly everyone else. Please save your braging for someone who cares and isnt actively being screwed over by the game for the ONE pokemone I actually want. Im happy you got so lucky, but telling me about your luck is just making me jealous and angry, so please save it if its doesnt include advice on how to find one myself. Thank you.

I thought with the whole top hat thing they were going for a "Frankenstein's monster" look. But the last 2-3 I caught aren't shiny.

I’ve dumped about 10 so far and beginning to wonder if there’s a reason for the abundance of Pumpkaboo? Or are the growing conditions just perfect in my hood? I’ve searched archives and can’t see a reason to hold onto them for event purposes.

I feel like when we I throw a ball, the Pokémon DOESNT go in…it’s not a relaxing game to play nor even fun if the Pokémon doesn’t go in. This has been going on for two days for me.

Took a trip down memory lane on my old phone, what better way to do it than revisiting Pokemon Go. I barely play this game. This was around 2020 and 2021. My friends screamed at me when I showed it to them and I finally Googled why five years later. And oh boy.

Haven’t been playing Pokemon go for the past few years. I have just returned and starting to enjoy the game again. I bought the Pokemon go pass and with that got the lucky trinket. Don’t really have any friends playing the game and no active players of my old friend list. There is a timer on it and really don’t know what to do with it. Anyone able to help :).

Downvote all you want, but The Halloween Event used to be one of, if not THE coolest one in Pokémon Go.
