Reviews ๐ฅ As a MCU Fan I tried watching The Batman.
As a MCU Fan who watched almost all movies of MCU, I thought let's give DC a try.
So I started watching The Batman (2022), and I was 50 minutes into the movie but still it felt very off. I even saw Mocktail Review but there it says its a masterpiece. Well it didn't seemed to me tho.
Don't wanna say the actual word cuz maybe that'd be disrespectful to the masterpiece but that's 'Boring' (i mean to me).
Idk what's the problem with my taste that i didn't like Batman but I'd love to give a try to any other DC movie for a first impression so that I can watch more.
Any suggestions?

Discussion ๐ฌ Interesting statistics about king vs Doomsday.
We will compare king and doomsday based on last movies of SRK and marvel.
Means Pathan and Spiderman BND. (Not jawan because jawan had south director and south touch to it)
* Pathan -
made 1050 crores worldwide. In which 650 came from India.
Out of 650 crores only 80 crores came from south Indian states and 550 from Hindi alone.
Means around 15% collection from south. In case of jawan also south contributed 25-30% collection only.
And remember jawan was half south movie which is not case with King.
* Spiderman BND-
Made 600 crores in India of which 40-50% came from south states. Means 250-300 crores from non Hindi states.
* Additional point-
Doomsday is releasing 7 days before King. Brand new day collected 350 gross in 7 days in India.
Means doomsday will collect 400 crore easily in 7 days.
*Final result-
Doomsday will already have 350-400 crores in pocket before King releasing.
King will not have any impact in Southern states so doomsday will run there continuously. It will garner 150 crores plus from south states after 7 days initial collection easily. And in North also it will give tough competition to king.
700 crores gross is easy peasy from Doomsday in India.
So if it's not flop then also it's lost deal for King movie. They are underestimating Doomsday in India particularly in Southern states.

Opinion ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ Salman Khan should be casted in taken remake
I really think that Salman Khan would kick asses in the role of the lead if "Taken" is remade in India. This should go viral and this should happen.

Opinion ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ Some people are very sure that Doomsday would cross $3 billion mark but as per me, it wont! What's your opinion?
I have seen people commenting and posting that Doomsday would be able to touch 3 billion and become the first movie to do so but I have a strong opinion that it wont be able. Many people give the reasoning that Endgame was able to pull off 2.8 billion dollar in its original run so does Doomsday would be able to. But they are forgetting the fact before scene for both of the movies. Endgame was the cumulation for 10 years of movie run, all those 20+ movies connecting each to one single event. That was the peak of the Marvel 'pop culture but still it was not able to touch 3 billion. And now they are saying that Doomsday would be able to repeat the same? What a rubbish thought. Doomsday's hype is nowhere to close to that of Endgame.
Maybe with extreme luck of high inflation it may reach till Endgame but 3 billion? nah!

Discussion ๐ฌ Why are people leaving negative reviews of Ramayana on Letterbox
Some people from a particular region of India began posting negative reviews of a movie without watching it. Was this because none of the cast members were from their region, because of an excessive tendency to idolize actors, or out of fear of being stereotyped? Such behavior was unexpected. It also suggests that, for some people, regional identity takes precedence over national identity. The movie never claimed to represent any specific region of India; rather, it represents Indian cinema on the world stage.

Discussion ๐ฌ We don't appreciate put movies enough.
I re-watched Enthiran (Robot) . I first saw this film when I was 6-7 yrs old in 2012 on tv and since then today and God it blew my mind again not this time with the coolness of the action sequences but with the technical prowess and Shankar writing.
I will draw comparisons with raone and brahmastra, both of these movies had a mind blowing concept but to make that concept work they needed a huge budget and to have the potential to recover that budget they needed to corporate massy themes of love , comedy and all . So that it could be paletable for a wider audience.
Where these movies failed , Robot made it its strength. The very first scene of the movie introduces us to its love story and the main conflict is the love story. The comedy for the most part is highly grounded and situational which is still funny .
The only aspect which was awkward,that was rajni sir , his age was visible through the screen but this movie couldn't have been possible without him likewise a kalki is impossible without prabhas but unlike prabha rajni sir at the age of 60 gave his all to this role . He is an outstanding actor but these massy roles have failed to capture rajni the actor throughout the years . His little expressions in 1.0 and the total animated evil performance as 2.0 which could have been cringe easily but he nailed it .
Idk but shankar sprinkled religious imagery throughout the story which was a treat for me . There is so much juice here to discuss but I will leave it for another post .
Rahman's work has been international in this one . The album (ignoring shankars music video) is unique and interesting and the bgms , not a single weak piece. He got all orchestral in this one and that approach works hard in this movie.
