Question should i quit?

i’ve been wanting to quit for a few months now but decided to wait until i have a new job lined up but recently my boss and the other managers have been making me just not want to show up anymore. on friday we were hit with an unexpected bad rush and just weren’t prepared at all for it. my boss was so angry the entire time and was yelling, slamming doors, throwing things (almost hit me with a ring), and just throwing a tantrum the entire time. i mean being stressed out during a rush is understandable but taking it out on your employees is not ok. half the stuff she was yelling at us for was not even our fault she was acting like we were the ones causing the rush. i was so scared to even be around her or ask a question because every little thing set her off. that day was not only physically draining but also mentally. on halloween everyone is required to work and my boss plus 2 other mangers said they act just like that and sometimes worse on halloween and im dreading that day cause i dont want to go through that again but now with even more people screaming and throwing things. i feel conflicted about wanting to quit because usually my boss and the managers are pretty nice it’s when we get into a rush they start acting like that. i dont know what i should do. should i stay and deal with it till i get a better job or just quit?

Labor Hours?

So in my market, our labor hours are now solely determined by the number of items sold, not sales nor tickets. Is this true for all Pizza Huts now?

I run a higher-volume store. We will overuse hours on a day where we run less than 20% labor and do $5000, but save hours on a day where we run 26% labor and do $3500. This change apparently took place earlier this year, but our hours seem to be over a lot more now that we use strictly DD. Anyone else struggling?

Question Reciet Protocols

Sorry for not knowing how to spell reciet since I’ve always been trash at spelling.

Anyway, I was wondering what is the protocol around the various reciets during a credit card transaction. I Know there’s the Ticket Reciet slapped on the box as the order comes in. Then when it comes to payment and a credit card is used (maybe the same for debit cards) there are two more reciets printed, one says “Merchant Copy” and another says “Customer Copy” and that’s what I’m asking about. I’ve just been told that Customer Copy is the one the customer signs and both copies are kept by Pizza Hut to curtail fraud if the banks comes a knock’n.

I have ALWAYS know the Customer Copy is given to Customer.

this out to me please!

Cross-Trained but same pay

So I’m 18 right? And since i turned 18 I got cross trained almost instantly for driver. But I’m still at base pay. And I’ve practically mastered everything, not that its hard; but i can open/close, run any station, and do some managerial tasks.

With this, I’m still a black hat, and my own self-respect is saying I should ask for a raise. But before i do, is there any chance id actually get it, from yalls experience?

Pizza Hut advice

I’m writing this because I am genuinely confused. I got hired weeks ago, and filled out the normal paper work and they filed me into the system but I still haven’t recieved my schedule. I never made pizzas before but I’m willing to learn how. This isn’t my first fast food job, for I’ve worked at Sonic. But haven’t heard from the hiring manager about a schedule or anymore training. The first day they showed me by telling me how they make there pan pizzas , and left me on sauce duty , which was filling up the marinara sauce, and I got done early. Walked around confused I didn’t wanna burden my hiring manager or let her think I was lazy or complacent. So I asked the person washing the dishes if he needed help to show I was serious about a job. The next day she told me to come by and told me I wasn’t working to pick up my work uniform put me in the system, and said she’d send me my schedule. I never heard back from her, and I don’t wanna be the only one texting her because I don’t wanna come off as pushy or too needy. Like I don’t wanna be that annoying co worker, and I have too much respect for myself to be confused. I don’t know what I should do. This has never happened to me about a job before. I’d rather her tell me I’m no longer needed than play with my time. I’m not bashing Pizza Hut, or my manager. I just need advice on if I’m hired have the job or what.

DD not picking up in house orders (Midwest)

This is day 3 of every order that is sent from Dragontail to DD will not get picked up until you call DD, and even then sometimes not. I know at least our local stores (5 confirmed) are having this issue and I was wondering if this is also affecting other markets?

The driver in the store can not checkout on their order if there is no driver assigned to an older order even though it has the DD tag. We are already staffed bare bones, nobody has time to call DD for every delivery.

Last night we ended up refunding 4 different customers, and 3 others come in and just got their stuff and all of them were rightfully pissed.

Dragontail is such a huge turd they are shoving down our throats; this is just another of the never ending list of issues we have had with it.

Question Flynn Senior Shift?

Do the Flynn Pizza Huts still have a Senior Shift Lead position?

The only reason I ask is I was on the verge of starting my training to be Assistant Manager. My RGM was only holding off on that because they were getting ready to move 2 crew up to Shift Leads, and didn't want to be worrying about training multiple people all at once, on top of working 60+ hours.

Problem is, ever since DoorDash took over out deliveries our score card tanked because we weren't getting hours since we didnt do deliveries anymore, surveys were getting demolished because of shitty dashers, and our out the door time tank (but obviously our fault at the store level).

So the powers that be decided to switch out our RGM for one from another store. On top of that they're brining a Shift Lead of their own, because they want to move up too because their store didnt make enough to have an Assistant. Lo and behold, with the transfer they already have the position now, which is honestly a kick in the teeth to me.

I know during the first time I worked here when it was under NPC, Senior Shift was a position. However, I don't know if Flynn still does. In our store email I see qualifications for it, but that was an email dated 3 years ago.

Retaliation

I have a manager who punished me for covering someone else's shift by cutting hours today. When I show up, there's no prep done and it's the middle of the rush. He's coming over and saying orders aren't coming out when he loses them on purpose. Yelling "it's not complicated."

I told him "You're keeping me from doing my job".

Finally, I got off make table and went to cut. We already had dough in the proofer. Our time was &&&* because of it. After 8 years, I am used to it and I understand it. What can I really do? Just get to it. Show up. Get to it.
