Story Time...

So ayun habang pinagkukwentuhan namin yung tungkol sa experience nila.

(Creepy)

Haunted Places Nun that haunted our old house in Manila

The decomposed body of a Spanish Paulist nun was found stuffed in a barrel.. a victim of the war. They buried her where they found her in our yard. Many people, including our servants and my own brother, saw her ghost flitting or floating, standing, by windows or near the area where she was buried, on one occasion floating up the staircase . Ā Whenever she was seen, my mother used to race over to church to have Masses for the dead said for her. We would wake up in the early hours to white smoke flowing through the house, which would quickly vanish combined with lights flickering. The sounds of crying and wailing in the middle of the night, under our big Acacia tree would be heard. On three random consecutive occasions, she would call each of our names in a very faint soft voice. We would hear knocks and footsteps all the time. Doorknobs open and close by themselves.

This was a very long time ago and I was just a child. This was to be our home for six months out of the year. It was an older house built around the late 30’s or early 40’s. There were five of these houses on a short street that faced what
was once a park, but at that time, was just a big empty lot. The other four houses had been converted to consulate offices and this was the only house on that short block that was still used as a residence.

The house was spacious with the living quarters on the second floor. The living and dining areas were all in one big open space with the three bedrooms on one end of the living room and the kitchen behind the dining room. On the first floor were a den and a bedroom on one side. Beyond the other door were the servants’ quarters. All was well in that house until about two months into our occupancy.

The strange occurrences escalated the longer we were there and by the sixth month, even the help were getting really spooked and frightened. At nights, someone with ice-cold hands would wiggle our toes, or someone would slap them in their sleep, or poke them. The mysterious door knocking was frequent.

our houseboy, Alan, who was not afraid of ghosts, to stay in the house. On his 2nd night there, he heard the telephone in the den ring, so he ran from the servants quarters into the den to answer it. (This particular door was set up to close on its own when opened, to insure privacy). when Alan got there he saw the phone receiver go up in the air like it was being answered and held to someone’s ear, only no one was there. He was terrified and turned around to open the door to go back into his quarters. The door would not open—it felt as it someone on the other side was pulling on it. Terrified out of his wits, he yanked so hard that he finally succeeded in opening it. Alan raced out of that house and slept on the street outside the gate that night.

When we had moved to another house in Manila the neighboring consulate employees had warned my dad that the house was haunted and that no one ever stayed beyond six months in that house. These employees were used to the strange occurrences in their offices, but since there were a lot of them there, they were not spooked too much. One of the employees, told my mom of a baby who had no eyes, that would crawl on the tables, walls, and wooden floors of the consulate. The story goes, is that the Japanese gouged out the babies eyes, which was sworn in testimony on war crime events later on.

Back then Manila was still very haunted. Since it is was not nearly as developed as it is now, combined with the hustle and bustle. Back then alot of Manila , was still open vacant lots, due to the destruction during the war. Parts of Manila were still quiet, dark, with plenty of big trees and old buildings. A lot of hotels and apartments were and are still today being constructed on mass burial sites (one of them is Torre de Manila) my uncle worked at the adamant church during the atrocity , it can still be found in archives

My mom wrote a blog on this online 12 years ago .The house no longer sits but the consults does. Growing up in the 60s-70s was a very scary time.

Ghostly Encounter What is the spookiest thing happened to you, while in your solo-living era?

• Upvotes

Please feel free to share your experiences guys!

Ako muna hahaha last year is my first time mag solo living. So I spent months sa apartment na yon, medyo naddepress ako that time kasi everything feels overwhelming plus dami problem sa family ko.

Urban Legends Hail Mary

Hello guys.

Second time posting here, and gusto ko lang i-share yung scary story na nangyari sa school namin, which was told to us by my classmate way back in Grade 7. Apparently, this story was also told to her by her Tita, who was a student at the same school back in the '90s. According to her, the incident happened to one of her batchmates.

So, eto na nga. The story happened when a student decided to stay behind in their classroom.

Nagpaiwan yung student kasi isusulat niya sa blackboard yung upcoming lesson nila for the next day.

Nakalutang daw yung madre. Hindi nakatapak sa sahig.

Kinilabutan yung student.

Enjoy the story!

Katanungan Psychotherapy removed my clairsentience as well?

• Upvotes

I used to be super sensitive since childhood up to teenage and early adult years. Basically, Di ko sila nakikita pero I can feel them.

Fast forward to 2024, I started having Psychotherapy to address my anger issues as well as to confront my childhood traumas na nagdulot ng matinding resentment. As I continue progressing in addressing and confronting my childhood traumas, frustrations, and other negatove burdens sa buhay, nawala yung nararamdaman kong mga sensation. Dark places no longer scare me. Even mountains suddenly became peaceful sakin.

Question ko lang, is it possible na due to my traumas at other unsolved emotions while growing up is nakapag attract ako ng negative energy throughout the years then I started losing them when I started throwing away or confronting some of those emotions? Curious lang po.

Katanungan Ano ang pinagkaiba?

Hello everyone! Curious ako. Sana may makatulong o makasagot. Thank you in advance!

6 years old pababa ay talagang wala.

Urban Legends Cacao in Bohol

My Mum is from Bohol and my Tio told us some stories about Cacao and the Ship of the Unknown in Bohol.

There was this ship that passed through a river in Inabanga and the Bridge always collapsed every time this ship passed through, so the municipality decided to lift the bridge even higher so it wouldn’t collapse when this ship passed again at night.

This ship is full of cacao with bright golden lights and delivers to Europe.

The company in Europe that receives the Cacao went to Macaban, Inabanga Bohol to visit and, surprisingly, the address they were given in Inabanga, Bohol, is a Cave.

Ikaw? Anong kwentong bayan ninyu?

Katanungan Fact-checking on Elizabeth Oropesa's claim of pineal gland as the third eye of all human beings

It was posited on her interview with Ms. Kring that the PG is the center of human consciousness. How true is this claim?

She was also convinced that flouride in toothpaste and water is a gigantic political move to suppress the PG and keep that hidden part of human consciousness untapped and unaccessed for most of the people. How true?

I would love to read your thoughts on this. The goal is always to expand the human thinking, hence, I am very receptive to ideas.

Thank you.

Katanungan Scent of Death

I am not sure, pero alam ko or nalalaman kong may mamatay sa lugar namin. Lagi ako nakakaamoy ng weir scents. Tas biglang out of nowhere nabubulalas kong ā€œmay mamatay na naman. sino kaya itoā€.

Kwentong Albularyo at Mangkukulam Potential Gayuma?

I have a sort of family friend, i’ve known him for a while. He honestly seemed like a good guy until he got together with his ex right after his previous wife died.

His previous wife died of cancer, she (allegedly) refused to get treatment until it was too late (but I speculate that the guy actually left her to suffer because he didn’t make an effort while she was in critical condition) it didn’t take long for this woman to suddenly pop up in his life.

This woman (I think?) is a childhood sweetheart of his. Ever since they got back together, he has been posting weird pictures with captions like ā€œi’m glad we found our way back to each otherā€ and such. His odd behavior even freaked out my mother, who is a close friend of his. Keep in mind he has 2 children, one 25 and the other 17. Since he got back with this woman, all of his earnings are usually now being spent on her. I learned from my mother that the older one did not take his board exam this year because the man refused to pay for the review centers and the actual test fee itself.

The older one put his career on hold in order to work at a call center to earn money in order to support ALL of the fees his little brother needs including school fees and other miscellaneous. I found it strange why he wouldn’t pay mind to the needs of his children and go out of his way to spend most of his money on a woman that is not even the biological parent of his two sons.

Am I overthinking it? Or could it truly be gayuma??

Unexplainable Events Uncontrolled revenge spell

The unexplainable unexpected deaths, Somehow I genuinely think I am responsible of these tragedies.

I don't think the vaccine have something to do with it..

the deaths of the people I never met on my newsfeed, they're all tied to me, I saw the pattern.
