Bug droppings?

Having the shower redone in our 1985 home. Never opened these walls before. Looks like we had, or actively have a bug problem. Does anyone have any insight on what might type of infestation we have? I see some roach oothecae, and I do see some American roaches from time to time in the home, but I wasn’t sure if they alone could cause this mess. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Also want to make sure we treat everything appropriately before the walls get closed back and tiled, so any insight on that would also be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Lizard pooo and roach poop 💩…maybe a touch of termite damage as well…would need to be inspected further by a professional.

Thank you for the response. In which pictures do you see potential termite damage? I’ll need to inspect that area more.

Looks like roach droppings. We see this all the time around insulation and sill plates in crawlspaces. Some water damage mixed in there too obviously, definitely can attract roaches to the area but you'd probably find some droppings regardless since the holes around the utility penetrations aren't sealed (they never are tbh)

I don't see anything that immediately stands out as termite activity to me
