My mom's birthday is coming up and my brother suggested we should get her something together. We want to get her "something that makes her cry happy." We've seen her get emotional over handmade cards before and I think we want to recreate that feeling on a bigger scale. We've tried scrapbook type projects before but it ends up being very messy.

We want something else to get her without requiring skills none of us have. I feel like there's a way to harness what we want to express and put it into a form that doesn't depend on us being artistic. Any ideas?

We've looked at custom coasters and little hot sauce bottles, and someone suggested poker chips with their names and wedding date on them, which I hadn't considered before.
Budget is very low, planification is not for more than 40 guests (around 1.5k) I consider that not anyone ill be related to poker chips but, maybe is not a big deal I mean is just a gift but I still wonder if it is still something that they will leave on the table. I want you know your opinion.

I often have a lot of trouble coming up with ideas for gifts for my wife and I want to make my next anniversary feel more special. I'm 6 months out so I have plenty of time and I feel like I normally have to work hard on communication. So I had the idea of trying to put together a long term gift of describing my feelings more specifically and writing them down when I have them. I've used a prompted Journal before but it was more for daily affirmations and motivating yourself. Does anyone have any advice or experience with prompted books for describing your feelings about your partner? If you give me a blank page and tell me to write what I love about my wife I'll get there eventually but I'll have some difficulties. But I feel like I would be much better at responding to specific questions so I'm looking for something like that where I can get one soon and then have a good while to get my feelings on the page.

I’m a little stuck on Christmas for my boyfriend of a little over 1 year. His main hobbies are fishing, gaming, MMA, and chess. I just got him a new chess board for our 1 year anniversary.

For Christmas my plan so far is to get him a $50 League of Legends gift card (his favorite game), this funny matching DC and Khabib shirts (inside joke), and a new pair of Ray-Bans (because his are broken and I know it bugs him). I still don’t feel like I’m doing enough, so does anybody have any suggestions? He is so specific with any fishing or gaming stuff and said he’d rather just tell me exactly what he wants. So basically I have lived with my relatives for 2 years and let's just say she did bad things with me (mentally) like [ didn't gave me food for a whole week I can only eat at night when my uncle came so we eat together otherwise she won't gave me food, made me washed my own clothes even tho use washing machine to wash everyone else's clothes and yea many more ] I was 14 back then and mind you my parents spoiled me rotten okey? They won't even let me take a glass of water or press my clothes like no nothing at all i was so spoiled and then I had to Live with my relatives and they treated me like shit .

I am 18 now she went for haj ( like in islam it's a thing you do if you have money it's kinda important maybe ) and bought me a bracelet and a keychain, i am thinking of throwing it away what should I do ? I mean it's nice but it will keep me reminding those things

Hello! Looking for holiday gift ideas.

We have a small office staff, all women, two are in their 40s and the other five are mid 50s to mid 60s. Every year, for the holidays, we take them out for a nice holiday dinner. In addition to their holiday bonuses, we always like to get them a gift. Between two and $300. There are a few few years where we did nicer bags, one year we did Meta Ray-Ban’s, Dyson hairdryers, etc. We really like to give them something that they might not buy themselves and again this is just to thank you from us in addition to their holiday bonus to help show how much we care
About them and are grateful for all they do.

This year, I can’t think of anything! I’m trying to get ahead and not scramble at the last minute and also our party is pretty early in the month this year. Any and all ideas are really appreciated:)
