EDIT: Solved! thanks for helping me out with this. You need to shot her with the charged projectile while concentrating (Just keep pressing Q when you are facing her and then shot the projectile)

I think that this mechanic is bugged atm because this method seems more a workaround rather than the intended way of solving this hunt.

title, after searching for the herb bride with white eyes (a pain in the ass if they're in group and you don't want to use photomode) you need to take off her "costume" to defeat her real form.

The problem is, Shabknak in her Herb Bride form won't react to normal shots of the Prototype. I tried multiple times hitting her with the prototype (uncharged and fully charged) and she only leaves this form with the Proyectile.

The problem is... what i'm supposed to do after i use the Proyectile? I'ts only one shot and is wasted in her Herb Bride form, then she would chase me in his real form like we are used to.

Is there a second flower during this day? can i charge again the prototype? i'm at 16:15 and losing a lot of amalgalm and resources trying to defeat her after she leaves her bride form...

Any tip?

Not much of a "whistle" sound really. Any idea how they might have made the sound?

Previously, I made a post lamenting that Daniil's silly and memorable reaction to the herb brides was gone, and some of you helpfully pointed me to the first herb bride. Indeed, it is still here!

Is anyone else experiencing a bug where they load the Prototype's silver bullet, catch the shabnak in flames, pull the trigger, and it fires... But no shot comes out, and the shabnak isn't harmed?

I've been replaying Pathologic CHD and one thing keeps nagging me - is it suggested that Isidor Burakh brought the plague from the steppe? I mean, it is said straightforwardly:

"He went off to the Steppe back then, you know... My daughter told me he'd come back with a demon piggybacking him." Big Vlad day 11, Haruspex route

HOWEVER, his diaries say that he went to the steppe to meditate before challenging Oyun.

In Pathologic 2, which is overall a more narratively clear, so to speak, game, Isidor and Simon brought the plague on purpose. I don't think it messes with the core theme too much, but it does shift the story in a different direction (and makes both of these guys schizo bioterrorists, which is especially highlighted in P3).

I played P2 first so I definitely viewed (and still do to some extent) Classic's plot with the knowledge I had from that game.

Would you say it's a big stretch to think Isidor is also semi-responsible for the 2nd outbreak in Classic?

I lean towards liking it, as I feel it fits the tone a bit better.

Edit: I didn't realize at first, but it seems the whole game has been tinted, not just the conversation portrait lighting. The game also seems to have deeper shadows. I'm not personally a fan of that, but I respect it as IPL's choice for artistic direction. I just have to up the gamma.

With the new update i have to look the herb brides in the eyes, Its no clear at all how its determined, i have tried multipe times but its soo difficult to check!

Thanks to user in the comments mentioning the idea of using Photomode, i have used it and checked, the “whiteness” in the eyes was indeed there, however, tough to distinguish which matches my experience.

Problem is, i used the projectile and the possessed body disappeared then Shabnak appeared in stunned state so i was sooooo happy, but then she just kept chasing me ?? Ummm i thought the whole point was to shoot her and thats it! .. alas, one more experiment as Daniil would have wanted

Update 2:

Just repeated the same experiment but concentrated while shooting (could be a bug that concentration is necessary) and it worked!!! Shabnak is subdued finally!!!

Im doing the batchleor route, im on day 9 and apparently big vlad is dead. I didn't take anyone to the termitary, I opted to get the kid a toy instead.

Do they just kill who they think locked them in there with the plague on their own independent of me, did I screw something up, or is it a bug?

When I played pathologic 3 this year I just didn't enjoy visuals and atmosphere of plague district - slapped green tint overlay and no visibility.

I think entering plague district should feel like stepping into alien world straight out of horror, like living organism overtaking everything making you feel uneasy. I feel P1 had start of idea of bloody houses but they were limited by technology and time constraints.

So I heard about this game while trying to find weird games to play and was wanting to get into Pathologic. I play on Xbox series s, and I looked and the first game isn't on there. I don't know if there's a way for me to play it on my console, if not, can I play the second and third games without having to play the first?

I consider getting it (probably will). I am now in the process of playing the second game. My sister and I enjoy the lore and characters so far.
The reviews are really confusing, and I know it’s better not to rely on them. Still, I’m curious—what was your experience with the game? Do you think it’s good, and what did you like (or dislike) about it? Did anything disappoint you to the point of dropping it? I know it’s supposed to be different from the survival-focused gameplay of the second game, but I’m interested in what people think beyond that; from what I can gather, most of the negative reviews simply complain about the lack of a survival challenge. Honestly, I just hope the story is still just as good, and that there hasn't been a drop in quality or anything else significant.

Day 6, in Rubin's warehouse, he tells me to distract the three attackers, draw them away from the hideout so Rubin has time to flee. So I stabbed them, and fled all the way to the cemetery, where they caught up to me and started beating me. I blocked them until in a few minutes the morning started, and the thought appeared "I didn't come to help Rubin" and the quest was failed. What, precisely, was I supposed to do?! How long does he need to escape?!

I've got base set up, now I can start adding new stuff and test some ideas.

I wanted these floating black flakes inside plagued districts.Trying to make air feel stuffy and that breathing it will make you sick... but not there yet. title, i put my items in the clock before the end of the day and whenever i travel in time i lost all the stuff that i leave in the clock... even if i leave the things in my inventory they don't spawn in the clock, tf can i do about that?

So, been wandering through the Flank and the Narrow, since i already get the Nina hint in the Factory, but it seems i cant get the other hints to find her. I'm supposed to talk to Victor Kain but i can't find him anywhere. Please, can someone mark me a map of them? or at least can tell me some direction since the map markers just sign the whole dinstrict but not the exact point?

Normally i would just restart over and over the day until find her, but i already restarted this day like 7 times and i'm beggining to grow tired of this day, although i absolutely refuse to advance to day 12 withouth checking everything it can be done on every day.
