first time ssf with a mostly improvised build. im having no issues on anything but t16 maps with irradiated, higher health bosses, and 200% delirium. there seems to just be too much stuff on the screen that isnt dying quite quick enough, also im finding that my flicker ends up doing similar damage to 2 whirling strikes that i use to build up combo i recently swapped off inexorable crit and a bunch of crit chance nodes off to get more elemental damage nodes, using pinpoint crit instead. im currently grinding to instill lust for power on an amulet rn. any advice is appreciated

Super fun to play this build (and potentially more fun if u wanna play with mountain splitter, but I took the easier 15% max life).

So the ideas of the build are pretty simple. Playing around a loreweave with "attacks have added phys damage equal to x% of max life" (I didn't have the currency to go for one with 5%, but they exist) and "fire damage also contributes to bleeding magnitude." We stack as much life as possible, as well as as much regen as possible - here the time-lost ruby was sooo helpful, providing about 90% inc life regeneration rate, since we need all the life regen we can get in order to counteract Berserk's degen.

Going for all the sources of maximum rage, as well as for Ichlotl's Inferno coupled with the convert of phys to fire from Fury of the King, my final rage effects end up being something like:

- 214% more damage (main rage effect)

-214 % increased fire damage (ichotl)

-214% increased armour (vengeful fury

at 123 maximum rage. If we wanna go crazy we could go for Crown of eyes + Mystical rage, for another 428% inc attack damage, but I feel like that would be a slight overkill atm since damage is not this build's problem.

What I've also done is basically having 100% ancestrally boosted rampage (with Fists of War III for basically permanently doubling ancestral boosted effect whenever I press ancestral cry) by having almost permanent ancestral cry buff (which I believe is also improved by Ferocious roar, as per tooltip) with the help of Fury of The King mod's "skills which generate glory generay 5 glory every 2 sec" and going for some increased glory generation, as well as the 50% inc glory rune on gloves.

So ye, hateforge gloves are super helpful on increasing the max rage and maintaining max rage as well. Build was pretty cheap compared to other builds I've made, like 1k div tops including mageblood (tho I have some pretty dope rings I've made myself and idk where those would be priced, but that's just minmaxing so). But it's the only build I've made so far (done like 20+ this league i think lol i'm a buildachoolic) that can breeze though lv 81 juiced sims and 200% deli without 1231231231231231 20% quality jewels blablal.

Ye I wrote a lot about it, but I LOVE the result lol.

The only problem is the meeeeeeeeeeega giga slow attack speed at the start of my rampages; if anyone has any ideas on how that could be fixed I'd love u)

I have Rakiata's Flow on spark

I was following animeprincess's spark gemling build guide.

I can clear regular content but i struggle with survivability a lot and with damage somewhat at 170% deli and mild expeditions. I've read that to improve survivability I need to improve damage but I struggle to understand what options are there except for swapping to mana stacking. I'm not sure about swapping because of the costs, this build cost me 1.5k+ divs already and the swap will cost me another 1k.
It feels like i need to somehow double my spark damage to feel comfortable in 200% deli and scaling crit bonus/ice wall health won't provide me with that.

I have played Varashta frostbolt on HC this league, and infernalist minion builds in the past. And I really like internalist, but it seems like for you to unlock internalists true power as a caster you have to sacrifice a lot of survivability.

Varashta has a lot of built in survivability when you don't slot djinns. Infernalist has Altered flesh and three life reserving nodes, which can be used to unlock low-life tech.

For damage, since internalist's Demonic Possession will be too hard to manage, I thought about profiting from Pyromaniac Pact (mana becomes infernal flame, and hurts), Grinning Immolation (increases crit damage, but becomes ignited) or Bringer or Flame (all damage ignites).

Questions on survivability:

- I know you can neutralize self ignite with Cristalized Immunity

-Infernal Flame with having less life and ES, or a 100% runic ward pool, right?

- Is Sacrosanctum enough to fully neutralize Pyromantic Pact? Or even Demon Form?

Has anyone played any of these? Or both? Would the ignite be enough to proc Cast on Ailment? How much does the spirit pool actually help for a non-minion build?

I think the ultimate question is: to what extent is it cost-effective? I know it's expensive and complex, but will it deliver enough clear speed/bossing power to overperform other spell casters on the same budget? Will my research effort be rewarded, even if it only shines for a specific farm strat?

I'm currently reading Ignatius guide. If all you can do is to send me something to read, or a video, I'm already thankful.

They’re almost identical except some nuances on gear and obv lack of adorned on one.

But when you check the Ember, one has 2 projectiles and the other only 1.

Can you spot why such a fundamental difference is there?

I'm scrolling through PoE builds and I'm curious what my minimum DPS cutoff should be? I'm thinking 50k, or is that too low?

Some builds claim 2m+ DPS. I don't want or need to do that much damage. It would be an expensive build and it feels like the game would be too easy. So I'd like to find a sweet spot where mapping isn't a chore and pinnacle content is doable but fun.

As the league is over I thought I would try out the Infernalist as it's something I've had no interest in... but a streamer said it was the best ascendancy so I'm trying to figure out why. I usually put the puzzle pieces together myself but this one has me stumped.

I wanted to do something with flameblast and ignite and CoI but theres a cooldown on flameblast I forgot about, trying to find the replacement skills that feel as fun.

I THOUGHT I could get around the Grinning Immolation and pyromantic pact with CI and Blackflame Cov, and instant recoup with Sacrosanctum but then you cant use elemental archon, you cant use Demon Form, you cant reserve any life, you cant use Incinerate as you dont use mana...

What am I trying to do with this build? What abilities actually work? Can anyone recommend a guide to Infernalist that isn't just spark coc comets?

It feels like my arc totem gemling damage has plateaued much earlier than I expected. It can easily handle 200% deli and juiced expedition, but struggles on group play carry. Other than a +2 prism of belief arc (saving up for that) are there any clear upgrades I’m missing? Following Ky’s build.

How is it that when I filter Oracle Temporalis Autobomber with Choir of The Storm in poe.ninja, 90% of those builds use Kalisa's Crescendo in Blasphemy + Repulsion setup (link)?

From Kalisa's Crescendo description, it say that the enemies are Pacified for the final 30% of the supported curse's duration, which should be 0 for socketed Repulsion in Blasphemy. So Kalisa's Crescendo should not work from the description.

If I only filter by Blasphemy and socketed Repulsion, then only 4% of all builds or 22% of Oracle build use Kalisa's Crescendo in Blasphemy.

Is this some kind of weird interaction specific to Temporalis/Oracle?

Hey I'm just trying to think of every single way that I can automate breaking armour while I main skills that can't. Like lets say for Sunder build. I'm used to using Armour Break on bosses manually but I'd like to automate it for trash clear or everywhere. My goal is to never manually have to use a different skill I don't want to unless its auto. I know herald armour break chaining was a thing though could someone show me an optimized recent set up for it? I could Cast on crit or ailment (I may go fire with goal of perma Ancestral Cry uptime and therefore the armour break applies to fire cluster) spell but question then is what's my most efficient cast on spells for coverage and reliability? I normally go life builds, but I could see end game going ward for Cast on Detonate Living though I'd prefer not to go ward. And that's it I can't really think of anything else out of the box that wouldn't require manual casts.

Also just recalled Pounce - Mark of Death, it's far less annoying to use more often on elites since it's also good mobility, as well as being a giga debuff if using on quality stacking gemling.

I made a post a few weeks back about the viability of a high investment COD Gemling (as if the “normal” one wasn’t enough). Well, I did it:

The one I did last league Ninja had at 600k per EF, this one is at 3.7m (4.3 with the other Mageblood I have, I just swapped from Sulphur to Gold to maximize tinks).

There’s still a little more min maxing I could do- the Adorned/Voices/rare jewel set are all swaps from/with my Infernalist (I can’t afford to have both jewel sets especially with a 64% Adorned).

That said, at this ludicrous level the build is nuts. Hard to really quantify it, but figured it was worth a post where I asked the question before.

I still don’t prefer this build for Ritual (annoying) or GE (squishy) but for everything else, it’s ludicrously fast and powerful. I had a 13 mirror Temporalis build last league and this one is faster in most maps because Dodge doesn’t get stuck on map “features” like doorways the same way Blink does.

Im playing hollow form whirling assault martial artist right now.

I am currently almost lvl 90 in T15 maps. I feel very tanky and have only had a few close calls and in maps my clear is generally speaking very smooth, even rares get oneshot for the most part. However when it comes to bosses the damage is absolutely abysmal.

I am using pounce, hand of chayula with elemental weakness socketed and I activate blazing critical support, thrill of the kill support and rend before going into boss room. Is there something else I am missing?

Im on SSF

How do I squeeze more DMG without spending more divs? I feel like my gears are pretty good without going into the min max territory. The last upgrade I can think of are 1. Get a 21/23 arc gem 2. get a +2 arc and move from neurological implant.

I feel like there are accounts with the same gears or lower that are in the millions DPS so I'm not sure if I missed something.

Hello, I am currently interested in making a build that revolves around the use of kalguuran skills and Gems and other Runes of Aldur related things.
But it has been quite difficult to theory craft, there are not many resources that just simply show off all these kalguuran skills.

I’ve tried some stuff already such as the Spell totems and grim pillars build and whilst that was definitely powerful it honestly bored the crap out of me so i wanna stray away from that.

So if anyone has any suggestions for what Kalguuran skills are good and what ascendancy’s or uniques or interactions I could take advantage of to have a character that specializes is All things kalguur and ward related that would be awesome.

Note: i am NOT saying I want to ONLY Use Kalguuran skills, I am saying I would like to MOSTLY use Kalguuran skills and/or just take high advantage of them throughout my build.

Here are somethings I have already thought about.

- I believe gemling legionnaire can use the improved quality with gems for getting more out of these abilities, I think..

- Chronomancer can use animus exchange and then rewind themselves to overflow their ward basically for free.

- Oracle can use inevitable critical hits to have flexibility in dealing damage, only needing to spec into crit chance and crit damage bonus.

- tactician can use Kalguuran passivebuffs for much less spirit.

- Blasphemy and repulsion is sick as hell!

Actually ive a WH 87 perma/frag a mid good well geared on ssf Forbidden and start to thinking to made a ssf MA ice strike build. How much Is viable for ssf? Didint have anymore interesing on trade league have aldready done all bosses and challenge.

Hi I have been running twister in 0.5.5 and made a decent build in the past couple of weeks farming ritual.I have tried to juice up expedition and have a go at it since I heard it “prints currency”, but my experience was quite bad as the expedition was significantly harder for twister to make use of wall bounces, whilst the return on div/hours was suboptimal compared to ritual. Is it just a compatibility issue of my build with GE.

Wanting to try everything before launch and this looked good and non-gemling.

I got a witch leveled and I'd like to do something with it for a last build before 1.0. Any decently fun build suggestions that can still complete all content with relative ease?

I like to craft most of my items and I'm not feeling like crafting +10 jewels so I'd like to keep amount of jewels within reason and not just picking all jewel slots available. Anything minions is just not my thing either. Twisters I got gemling for so that's out too. Anything else is welcome.

Budget somewhere around a mirror and two at max.
