Having Trouble Regressing?

Some people are struggling in regards to having a successful regression (whether with a practitioner or using YouTube regressions).

Hypnosis is the theta state. It's the state of deep relaxation with heightened focus. You go in and out of it all through the day (like when you're just waking up or falling asleep; when you're driving and realize that you haven't been paying attention, yet you made it home, etc). The more relaxed you are, the easier it is to go into a hypnotic state.

Here are a few things you can do to have a more successful regression:

Limit your caffeine beforehand. Caffeine keeps us alert, which is the opposite of what we want when trying to get into a hypnotic state.

Change up the time of day. Early morning after waking up can be a great time for a regression, as well as close to bedtime (as long as you don't fall asleep).

If you're using YouTube videos to regress, try changing up the videos. Some people respond better to a female rather than a male, and vice versa. Does the sound of their voice seem soothing? Maybe you like certain accents. Maybe a shorter video works better for you, or you find the longer ones seem to take you deeper.

If you're working with a practitioner, take the time to vet them. Do they seem kind and caring? Do you feel uplifted when you look at their website or social media? Trust your gut, but do try to look for reviews.

Ensure you have privacy. It's hard to let go and relax when you think you're going to be interrupted. Try to keep pets out of the room if you can. They will sometimes jump onto you or make noise in the room. Turn off your cell phone so that notifications don't startle you.

Try having a hot bath or shower, doing some yoga, or be out in nature before a session. Again, very relaxing.

Change up your body position. Most people like to lie down for a session, as it's more relaxing. I find that I'll go too deep when I do that, and may fall asleep, so I like to sit up.

Keep your room dim, either by turning down the lights or putting or using an eye mask. When we're in hypnosis, a light that normally doesn't bother us can suddenly feel too bright and distract us.

Wear soft, comfortable clothing and have a blanket nearby. Many people get chilly when they are in a deep hypnotic state. Use the bathroom before a regression so that you don't feel like you need to go halfway through.

Pay attention to your breath. Take nice deep slow breaths, in through your nose, with a longer exhale out your mouth. This signals to your nervous system that you are safe. You don't have to try to breathe this way throughout the regression, but definitely try to at the beginning. As you relax, your breath will then just do it on it's own.

Set an intention before a session. Maybe you want healing or change in a certain area of your life. When I work with clients I'll often state before the session, "This session will be healing and illuminating for both my client and myself. My client will relax and regress easily and will get the most benefit possible."

Some people have subconscious parts of themselves that may be resistant to doing regression work. If you feel that this is the case, you can try talking to that part of you. I'll usually just ask the person if they feel there's a resistant part (you'll know because you'll feel a tightness in your body, or stress, worry, doubt). It's actually really easy to notice it. I'll ask my client how old that part is and they can usually tell. Then, we'll spend a few minutes asking the part what their fears or resistances are, and reassuring them that they are safe.

Try to take the pressure off of having a 'successful' regression. The more you want it, the more resistant you are to it not being what you expect it to be. When we try to be in control of things, that is the opposite of being relaxed. Often, when we give up 'trying' or 'efforting' it just seems to happen more naturally.

Many people think they'll see a past life as if it's a movie playing across their eyelids. They're expecting to see everything outside of themselves. Everything occurs inside your brain, just like when you're day dreaming or imagining, which is why many people think they made their regression up! Images can be very fleeting or hazy.

Sometimes we might not see much, but we'll have a 'knowing' of what's happening. We may hear (again, in our head in the same way as when we talk to ourselves) words or names.

Some people feel very detached from the past life, leading them again to think they 'made it up'. Others will get very emotional, or even recognize others as being in their present lives.

How we perceive things is different for everyone. Perception can also change from one regression to another. We can have 'off days', where maybe we had work stress, or something else is bothering us. This can dramatically affect a regression.

I consider every regression (or attempt at one) to be successful. The more we do it, the better we get at it. In fact, the more you practice hypnosis, the healthier your immune system will be. You're going into a state of rest and digest, which is when your body is able focus on healing and regeneration. During this state, blood flow is redirected to vital organs and tissues, allowing immune cells to better detect and respond to infections.

Good luck to everyone on their journey. We're all so blessed to have the ability to explore our consciousness in this way!

Discussion Trying to figure out

I know that just because you have a strong interest in something from the past that does not automatically mean you’ve lived a past life there. But how can a draw to a very specific historic event or time period be explained otherwise, I wonder?
An example, I was just reading that the OK Corral shooting was 145 years ago yesterday. I am not a person who is usually interested in Western lore or movies or anything like that, but I’ve always been fascinated with that event and love the movie Tombstone. I’ve even been to Tombstone and had a strong draw to Arizona - so strong I moved across the country to live there, but I only stayed a short while due to finding work in another state. That being said, I haven’t yet discovered a past life linking me to that specific area of the country. I did, however, have a past life near Colorado/Santa Fe as a Native American man that died in the mid-1850s or so.
I would love to figure out why I feel such a strong sense to the Tombstone event someday! Has anyone had a similar thing?

Personal Experience Discord group Reincarnation & rainbows

I made a post about it a while back already. Maybe finding some more who are interested to join.

A while back i made a Discord called: Reincarnation and Rainbows. For the Souls who are Transgender this lifetime, I myself included. And knowing from personal experience this connects to Reincarnation more than others think. Example Incarnating more as Male throughout lives and feeling completely devastated when incarnating as a female. And finally feeling ourselves when we do transition where we feel our true selves and not depressed individuals.

I made the group to create and have a safe space to talk about anything Reincarnation & Past life related. Other Spiritual topics like astral projection, Dreams etc, are included. Also the normal Day to day issues and hobbies etc, obviously.

We would love to have others join in who contribute and just having a fun time together. If you want to join feel free to do so. click here to join

P.s. When the link doesn't work anymore feel free to send me a Dm and I'll send you a new one. Note: I verify manually so while joining you don't directly see the whole group.

Lurkers and trolls who don't introduce themselves are kicked out eventually. *Because It's made as a safe space. So for the ones who only want to read without contribution or introducing at least this ain't the group for you.

I do sound very strict right now, but I'm actually very easy going. I just have the safety of the group as a priority, there is already way to much hate against us in this world.

Personal Experience Dimensional Escape to Snowy World:

Post image
9 Upvotes

This was another past life memory in the form of a very vivid dream about K and me. In this one, I attempted another escape from her (common theme in my past lives), my sister is a common tag along although she wasn't part of this part - she tends to play a placeholder role for those that helped me escape, as I often had help to escape.

So, in this dream, I was trying to escape to a whole different dimension, to get away from K. This time, the method or way was my "sister's" idea. We ended up getting into a vehicle that was run and owned by an older woman. In order to travel with this vehicle, we had to cut a piece of our hair to feed into a machine on the vehicle. This was the only way the vehicle could transport us with it, when it "hopped" dimensions.

The woman revved up the vehicle, and it started to teleport us. I could physically feel this happening. Dream-me was a bit scared about this process so I closed my eyes in the dream. I could still feel it, it felt like a rush, electrically-speaking; but at a micro level. Essentially like we were being transported atom-by-atom. The process only lasted a few moments.

Suddenly (and this part was very vivid and surreal), we were traveling in this snow covered icy world. It was beautiful but looked desolate. We were traveling through it via what was barely a path, but I did not see any man-made looking structures. The world had giant natural structures and ice-like canyons + natural icy bridges that made me feel small compared to the land. Now despite the beauty of this world, it looked desolate and very cold. I ended up saying to the woman, "Well, I got away from K then?" - and her response was, "Sure, until she realizes you hopped dimensions". Suddenly dream-me was aware that she did not need fancy vehicles to move between dimensions, and my escape was only as good as till she realized I hopped dimensions and located me.

Personal Experience Past Lives Healing

I was only sixteen years old the first time I had an out-of-body experience where I was told not to forget to "take out the trash". Back then, I had no clue what they meant. But I do now.

After seeing so many past lives in dreams, visions, meditations, and out-of-body experiences and since learning how to do IFS therapy on myself, I learned that lives bleed through from one to another.

And this is what I am here to do. I am here to heal the residue. To learn how to heal myself from all the physical and emotional trauma that has accumulated throughout lifetimes - and that was part of remembering the power of Self.

I would like to teach those who are interested, how to do this. I don’t know how to go about it yet, but I know that this is the path I want to explore - and I’m humbled that life has given me this opportunity to learn how to alchemize darkness into light.

For the first time, I feel like I have a purpose. My being is filled with gratitude for being able to be of service to others. I started my career in this life as a nurse. But I was soon aware that I was not going to be a nurse for everybody else. I was going to be my own.

For decades, I was riddled with illnesses, injuries, and emotional and physical pain. And now, now I see why.
It wasn’t punishment. I hadn’t done anything wrong to deserve living a life in a state of agony. I was being prepared and taught to finally break through the barriers of my own mind - and to find my self.

Or maybe I should say, my own convictions throughout lifetimes.

Ashe, ashe ashe (thank you) ...for everything.
Ashe, for life.

I’ve already healed major emotional issues, rare illnesses, and other physical ailments in my own body. Things that people would call miracles. But they’re not. Life itself is a miracle. This is just alchemy.

I don’t even know why I’m writing this. I’m just so grateful. I just wanted to celebrate it with you guys. Just give me your two cents, whatever you feel like saying. Thank you. 💛

The Fear of Losing Everything Pt 2

Part 1: https://www.reddit.com/r/pastlives/comments/1xc2lqk/the_fear_of_losing_everything/

This is part 2 of the story, where my client was on Atlantis on a parallel earth. There was no concept of money and everything, including objects, had consciousness. Everything was in harmony.

As we moved forward, she said Atlanteans had arranged marriages. They would be matched with partners based on their frequency and energy.

She was introduced to her partner. This is her current life brother. They married, and some time later, she delivered a baby. When she looked at her newborn, my client exclaimed, this is going to be my future baby in my current life. She had so much love for this baby.

Over time, things with her partner fall apart. He wanted to be with someone else. This felt so strange. She could see the colours and hues on his face change. She could feel him not allowing her full access to his feelings. This made her feel a deep sadness and loneliness.

"My soul match doesn’t want to be with me."

This is how she’s been feeling in her current life too. She’s carried this energy from the Atlantis lifetime to her current one. It was in her heart, a heavy distortion energy. She didn’t want to even acknowledge it as she became aware of it.

In her subconscious there was this idea, being with a partner is painful. They will leave and I will be sad and lonely, which is why she was single for a long while in her current life.

We transmuted and released it, cleared any residue.

And when we came back, she said – I’m with a new partner. She was thrilled to be with this new person. She said they were a big happy family. She, her new partner and daughter, (whom she coparented with her previous partner.)

She and her daughter would speak telepathically. No words needed. Suddenly, she realized – her daughter is her itself. They're the same soul.

She also said, this new partner is going to be her future current life partner.

Her higher self showed us this life to experience unconditional love, with her child, and see the potential with her future partner. He’s coming.

Discussion The Past Life of a Cow

Q: Inferring what kind of human would reincarnate as a slaughterhouse cow, based on past life record materials.

Inferring what kind of human reincarnates as a slaughterhouse cow based on past life records and karmic principles reveals a distinct pattern. According to Buddhist scriptures like the Sutra on the Retribution of Karma, along with various folk tales and religious accounts, those born as slaughterhouse cattle in their next life are primarily individuals who exploited others, inflicted material or physical suffering, and showed no remorse.

In karmic tradition, the most common path to becoming a cow is defaulting on debt or taking advantage of another's effort. Because a cow spends its life bearing heavy loads and plowing fields, it is seen as paying off past unpaid debts through relentless physical labor. Fraudsters, employers who withheld wages, and those who stole without guilt are said to return as cattle belonging to their creditors or destined for the slaughterhouse, settling their debts through bodily toil.

A tragic death at the slaughterhouse also reflects the direct karma of merciless killing and cruelty. By the principle of karmic balance, the suffering inflicted on others returns to the perpetrator. Those who enjoyed taking lives or abusing animals in a past existence are born as livestock, experiencing the exact terror and painful end that they once inflicted on other living beings.

Furthermore, severe breaches of human decency, such as betraying or mistreating parents and teachers, lead to a decline in spiritual standing. Those who repaid care with cruelty are reborn as speechless beasts, forced into total submission under the whip. Similarly, corrupt officials and wealthy figures who abused power to squeeze the blood and sweat from the vulnerable are sentenced to lives of extreme hardship. Having lived in unearned luxury at the expense of others, they are given bodies suited for the most grueling labor, often ending up slaughtered and processed for meat in the very communities they once exploited.

In summary, past life records warn that a slaughterhouse cow was once a person who built their own profit and pleasure on the tears and suffering of others. As retribution for wounding the bodies and minds of others, they endure a fate where their entire physical body, from meat to hide, is surrendered to human consumption through a painful death.

Question past life experience while meditating?

While deep in meditation last night, there was a moment where something "took over" my body. I remember feeling very rigid and then bursting out in song - like an actual song with melody, refrain, and everything - in a language I'd never heard of before. But at the same time, it felt natural, familiar. Could that have been a subconscious thing? A past life memory poking through the veil?

Personal Experience Two childhood dreams or visions that felt like actual memories. Years later I discovered a centuriesold myth that strangely matched one of them.

I’m 25 now, and there are two very distinct visions I had as a little kid that have stayed with me my entire life. I hesitate to even call them dreams because they felt more like actual memories, almost as though I was experiencing an entirely different life from the one I’m living now. I wasn’t watching someone else’s story unfold. I was actually there, living those experiences as someone else.
My memories of them have faded quite a bit over the years, but certain details and feelings have never left me. What makes the first one especially strange is that, years later, I discovered a centuries old legend that had some remarkably specific similarities to what I remembered.
The first vision: A kingdom, forbidden gates, and a devastating flood
I remember being in this vast, almost majestic kingdom surrounded by nature, with water below it. I wish I could describe what it looked like, but I was so young that most of those details have faded. What I remember most clearly is how distinct the place felt, unlike anywhere I can really picture or describe now.
I remember being of royalty and experiencing everything as that person.
Something happened involving gates that I knew were forbidden to open. It was almost as though everyone understood that opening them could have terrible consequences. Yet somehow, I opened them anyway, and the entire city or kingdom began flooding.
I remember realizing that everyone was going to drown because of what I’d done. The overwhelming guilt, horror, sorrow, and regret are among the strongest things I remember. I knew I was responsible, but I had never intended for any of it to happen.
I can’t remember why I opened the gates or exactly what led up to it. I also have this vague recollection that perhaps I could’ve done something to save everyone but was too afraid to act, or maybe it was already too late. That part is especially blurry.
What I remember next is running into the arms of someone I loved. I can’t remember his face anymore, but I remember embracing him as the water came rushing toward us. We held each other as it eventually overtook us both.
I remember accepting that I was going to die alongside everyone else, almost as though I deserved to because it was my fault.
I think that’s when I woke up or came out of whatever that experience was. I vaguely remember being in a moving car with my parents afterward, although I can’t remember my exact age or whether I’d actually been asleep.
Years later, I discovered the Legend of Ys
A couple of months ago, I decided to research this childhood vision because I wanted to know whether anything resembling what I remembered had ever happened in history.
I described the experience to Google’s AI, and it brought up something I’d never heard of before: the Legend of Ys, a centuries old Breton legend from France. I searched again more recently, and the same legend came up.
Apparently, Ys was a magnificent city protected from the ocean by enormous walls and floodgates. It was ruled by King Gradlon, whose daughter was Princess Dahut.
According to one version of the legend, Princess Dahut takes the keys to the city’s floodgates from her sleeping father because she wants to let her lover into the city. The gates are opened, allowing the ocean to rush in and flood the entire city.
In another version, her lover is actually the Devil in disguise, who tricks her into obtaining the keys and then opens the floodgates himself. Different versions describe different fates for Dahut, including drowning or becoming a mermaid.
And I’m sitting there thinking, what the actual fuck?
I had described a childhood vision in which I was royalty in a magnificent kingdom surrounded by water. I remembered forbidden gates being opened, an entire city flooding because of my actions, and the overwhelming guilt of knowing everyone was going to drown because of me.
And now I was reading a centuries old legend about a princess whose actions involving forbidden floodgates led to the destruction of her entire city.
Even the involvement of a lover struck me as strange because one of the clearest memories from my vision was running into the arms of someone I loved as the water overtook us.
It wasn’t just the flooding that caught my attention. It was the combination of royalty, a magnificent city surrounded by water, forbidden gates, the princess’s involvement in opening them, the catastrophic flooding, and the presence of a lover.
I later asked ChatGPT about the experience, and it brought up the same legend. That’s when I learned more about the princess taking the keys from her father.
I don’t remember stealing any keys, though I think. That’s something I learned about afterward. I also don’t remember whether there was a king or father present, although I have this very vague feeling that my father would’ve been extremely angry with me for what I’d done.
I don’t remember whether the person I loved had anything to do with opening the gates either. Maybe he did, maybe he didn’t. My memory is simply too blurry to say.
What I distinctly remember is being royalty, the kingdom, the forbidden gates, opening them, the catastrophic flooding, the guilt, and embracing someone I loved as we were overtaken by the water.
Those are the things that have stayed with me.
But then I realized that Ys was a mythical city, and honestly, I felt like such an idiot afterward lol. Here I was wondering whether this childhood vision might have been connected to an actual historical event, only to discover that the closest resemblance was a legend.
What I find so bizarre is the coincidence itself. Out of everything I could’ve imagined as a little kid, how did I end up experiencing something with such a specific combination of details that resembles a centuries-old Breton legend I’d never knowingly encountered?
I genuinely don’t remember ever hearing about Ys growing up, and the similarities still fascinate me.
The second vision: A desert beneath an unbelievably beautiful night sky
The other experience I remember from childhood was completely different.
I remember being somewhere in a desert at night, beneath an unbelievably beautiful sky filled with stars. There were horses, and I remember riding through the desert with other people around me.
I vaguely remember them wearing what might’ve been traditional desert clothing, perhaps something Bedouin-like, although I can’t say for certain.
I don’t know where we were supposed to be or what time period it was. What I remember most vividly is how peaceful and beautiful everything felt. There was something almost spiritual about the entire experience.
And just like the first vision, I wasn’t watching it happen. I felt like I was actually there, experiencing that life as someone else.
I don’t remember anything particularly dramatic happening in this one. It’s the atmosphere, the stars, the horses, and that extraordinary spiritual feeling of actually being there that have stayed with me.
Has anyone else experienced something similar as a child? Not just a vivid dream, but something that genuinely felt like you were living an entirely different life, with memories and emotions that stayed with you for decades?
And does anyone here know more about the Legend of Ys, particularly older or lesser known versions of the story? I’d genuinely love to hear from someone familiar with Breton folklore because I keep coming across the same versions of the legend.
I’d really love to hear what other people think about these experiences.

I Had a Dream About My Past Life, but It Was Quite Ordinary

Post image
18 Upvotes

I had a dream about my past life. I remember having a very large build, wearing clothes made of animal skins, kind of like Viking clothing. I can't remember what my face looked like. I think I was around 40 years old or something.

I lived in a wooden house right in the middle of a valley, surrounded by vast grasslands. Behind the house was the sea, while at the front of the valley, there was a forest, followed by rows of bamboo. I lived alone, so my daily routine was usually to go hunting in the morning and sleep at night.

My dream was pretty boring, and honestly, quite ordinary. Then, after an unknown amount of time, I remember going hunting or doing something else when it started raining. On my way home, I came across a dog and a cat curled up beside a bamboo tree, so I picked them up and hurried home with them.

When I entered the house, there was a piece of animal hide spread across the middle of the wooden floor as a rug. On the right was a bed with a pillow and a blanket made of animal fur. On the left, there was dried food hanging up, along with various other things. In the corner of the room, there was a fireplace surrounded by wood (I don't understand why it was made of wood, though?). I put the two animals on the bed and warmed them up.

As the dog grew older, it became huge, probably reaching up to my waist. It had golden-yellow and black fur that grew so long it covered its eyes. I'm not sure what breed it was. It looked similar to a Tibetan Mastiff from China, but the scenery and the clothes I wore didn't really look Asian. The cat wasn't anything particularly special. It was just a black cat, but it was very attached to me.

Every evening, I would lie down with the two of them on the slope of the valley, watching the sunset and the moon. What I remember most vividly is the nighttime scenery,  the gentle rustling of the wind, the cool breeze, and the enormous moon in the sky, casting a blue glow across the entire grassland. The moon was so huge and bright that it felt like watching a movie on a giant cinema screen.

Every day was the same. I'd go out to find food in the morning, then spend the evening lying on the grass, listening to the wind and the birds, and enjoying the scenery before falling asleep.

Then, one night, I became very sick. I think I had a high fever or something. The last thing I could see was the dog lying beside me, while the cat was curled up where my pillow was. After that, I don't remember anything else. I think I had passed away.

Do you know of any places that look like the one in my dream?

Question Have you ever felt the absence of a soulmate you've never met?

Is it possible to deeply miss a soulmate in a romantic sense, even if you've never met them? I know this might sound strange, but I've been wondering about it for a long time, and I'm curious if anyone else has experienced something similar.

I'm 25F, and ever since I was little, I've had this persistent feeling that I've been waiting for someone. It's hard to explain, but it's almost as if the absence of my future life partner has always been a shadow following me.

What's strange is that when I think about this person, I don't experience him as just an abstract idea of a future partner. I have this feeling that he's a specific person somewhere in the world, living his own life, even though I have no idea who he is or what he's like. And I can really feel he is missing, like a part of myself.

Sometimes, the thought that we're not together makes me feel deeply sad, in a way that goes beyond ordinary loneliness. I find myself wondering whether he's okay and what his life is like.

I don't know if this is simply a result of longing for a deep romantic connection, or if there's a spiritual explanation for it. I've wondered about reincarnation and whether it's possible to feel a sense of longing for someone you've supposedly known in a past life, but I don't necessarily believe that's what this is.

Has anyone ever experienced something similar? I've always felt like I'm in a state of waiting, a constant search for a person I haven't met yet. I don't know how to explain this feeling or where it comes from. Could it be related to reincarnation or a past-life connection, or is it simply a deep longing for a romantic connection?

Anyone who remembers past lives see a past love when scrying or focusing on a reflective/blank surface?

I can remember about 7 or 8 past lives. I have reason to believe that i recently come across a past life love (soul mate, partner, etc) at my job. She stayed for about 2 years, but I experienced all the typical feelings if you have a bit of psychic ability, eg, feeling of seeing her before, inexplicable attraction, a deep bond. etc.

I often think about her when in my basement, where there's a TV, laptop, stereo, etc, basically where I usually stay. There is a sold dark brown door--that's in my view when I lie down to relax--and whenever I think of this former coworker, I start to get emotional because I see a woman wearing a long flowing skirt, hair tied bac, and smiling at me, a woman straight from the 1800s.

Anyone have a similar experience when "scrying" defined as a "practice where a person gazes into a reflective or translucent medium to receive intuitive messages, visions, or spiritual guidance.". Sometimes it gets so emotional to the point my eyes start tearing up. I can feel the love we had for each other.

I feel like religion is just a coping mechanism to deal with death and the fear of the unknown, so society makes up things to believe in to not be scared of dying.

Personal Experience Up until I was in my 30s I kept dreaming I died in a tsunami

Ever since I was a boy. And it was ALWAYS the same image of the same tsunami I was seeing from the same place as it approached and then I drowned and that's when I'd wake up.

I've always been naturqlly good at pottery a d obsessed with Japan from birth until I was a teen and the anime fandom put me off because it felt disrespectful, in a "youth these days" way (I'm 40 so this was before the otaku era) and I had no interest in anime anyway just cultural things like old Japanese folk music and pestered my mum to let me take Japanese lessons aroung age 6.

I remember wearing a kimono daily and living alone (my wife had died or left me a long time ago) in a very humble hut where I made pottery for a living. I didn't fish because I got seasick (still am in this life) and I remember being super self-aware of that.

Funnily enough, my mother who was born in 1952 in a little lost part of Chaco, Argentina where there was no running water, indoor plumbing or radio... spent her entire childhood drawing buildings with pagoda-like roofs and kimonos—two things she couldn't have known about in chaco, as she grew up two blocks away from the land where natives lived and people didn't know how to read or write.

I believe she was my wife and I wasn't particularly fond of her for whatever reason. Our relationship is still rocky to this day because she is too controlling and doesn't do things "the way I tell her to" and that fits the backwards way of thinking men had back then. I'm gay and all for women's rights as I want my two daughters to have the same rights as everyone else so I don't know where this cpems from otherwise, but with my mother it's different somehow.

And even as a boy I was embodying omoiyari, ganbaru, fish based cuisine preference and other Japanese values that my mother shares when all the other parents and children were very western-thinking for a lack of a better word.

Glimpse of a past life - or something different?

When I was a little child (in the early 1990s), there was a certain picture that was often in my head when I fell asleep:

It showed a building next to an American Highway junction. The building might have been a Diner or a bowling alley with some cars parked in front of it.

I recognized one of the cars as a Buick Regal (had this one as a Matchbox-car). The other cars also looked American and appeared to be from the 70s as well.

As I grew up in central Europe in the early 90s, there was no way I could have seen this scene in reality.

Could this have been a glimpse of a past life or maybe a movie scene I had seen on TV (we did have many American movies in the TV that time).

I'm happy about every inspiration. :)

Discussion Isekai anime is very esoteric

I find that modern isekai animes have taken the concept of past lives and have developed it to a very deep extent. The isekai genre is when a person from our modern world dies ,and gets reincarnated into another world with full memories intact. These memories indeed help them to live in that other world. Such as knowledge to modern technologies, gives them an advantage.

Mostly it is a fantasy of being able to start over and live a new life if your current life sucks. If for example you are feeling oppressed and beat down by society, you can start a new life. Isekai appeals to people who are facing systemic conditions such as social, political, or economic oppression. Indeed one of the stories is that a young man with no romantic prospects in this life can reincarnate into another world with a less detrimental society and find love there. Other worlds offer a sense of novelty, adventure, and heroism that this world does not offer.

I think that isekai shows our future, of what happens to us when we die. At the same time, it may also show us our past and alludes to our present state. If for example you used to live in another world and you retain full memories of that world, and now you live here as someone else, but you still have the same soul. In either way, isekai offers us a hopeful message that even if you screwed up this life, or you were screwed up by society, you can still get another chance at life.

Is it possibly that I'm being punished by being born into this specific life? I'm non religious women in religious country i live in misogynist society where I'm not allowed to go outside and live my life i can't do anything and i can't escape so i wonder is it possible that I'm being punished ? And what can't I do ?

Question Can physical touch with a stranger establish an energetic or psychic connection that develops later through dreams? Has anyone experienced this from either side?

Personal Experience Past life?

Hello could this be a past life when I was about 3 years old I had this dream where I was a Chinese 11 year old girl and my family in the dream dad mom and 3 brothers were walking into this indoor playground with big red dragon lunar structure thing and a few minutes a shooter came and shot me but shit couple of my brothers first and I remember my father yelling for me but he wasn’t mad rather worried and frantic and then right after I got shot on they head and woke up from the dream. I also always believed in recantation where if your good person you rebirth but if your a bad person you just stay in a dark abyss forever with nothing and no one despite the fact being raised in a Christian household. Family didn’t look like current family like black hair dark eye color. But weirdly enough my hair wasn’t black but warm auburn brown color and dark eye color that matched them I also remember the sidewalk was like a granite dark grey type. I also have a birthmark on my head. For some reason when learned about Buddhism I felt connected and familiar with it like I knew it before. I never necessarily told my family but it just stocked with me and I always believed that dream was a past life like a gut feeling but I was just wondering there’s evidence that it is.

Also when I was 8-9 I had a phase where with friends I pretend my name was lily when it’s not.
