What sort of glue are you using? A glue stick?
Depending on what you are making, you could use double sided tape. Glue sticks are ok to us but can leave lumps on the paper, sometimes.

Glue sticks are very bad. Its polluting the paper, slow drying time and bending the paper. Probably its better at high g papers but glue sticks are pissing me off. I am a rookie i was using it without knowing but now i am trying to make better projects so i need a new one. Ill use uhu for general probably. + i cant use double sided tape because its not usable for my projects

I use the bearly brand, but it leaves residue on dark colors.

I like Aleene’s and Uhu glue sticks for thinner papers, and Yes! Glue paste. They don’t buckle the paper because they’re not watery.
