Noticed today that the DLC achievements aren't listed anymore, not on my profile page, nor the library or store page. Anyone know why or what's going on?
EDIT: A day later and they seem to be back. And they kept their completion status and timestamps somehow, so that's a relief.

This is so wholesome. I interviewed Alex and Kelsey Beachum about their childhood of creativity together and their dad left this lovely comment. These chats I think of as being for players, but it's so cool that it gave a parent an insight to their kids.

I had a once a thought on why Nomai are a nomads, and I think that can somewhat stem from their lives on their homeworld. Perhaps it was a world full of steppe biome, similiar to Syberia or Mongolia, and it forced the Nomai to be nomadic. And perhaps it could be why they are split into multiple clans, that meet eachother from time to time.
It's just a little thought, It doesn't need to be canon.

question: would the ending sequence be triggered if an observer entered the eye before the collapsing of the galaxies which illuminated the ancient glade.
when you first arrive at the ancient glade it is illuminated by galaxies which begin to burst much like our own sun does at the end of every loop. Much like every star bursts in the universe if the time is taken to observe them on the deck of the vessel or the north pole of the eye.
Because the universe is dying we can see these galaxies burst just like our sun and the ancient glade which was illuminated with galaxies goes completely dark.
At this time of complete darkness every galaxy has been snuffed out. The only observer left in the entire universe is the hatchling and at that point the ancient glade starts acting as if we are the only ones observing it as the forest collapses into a more personal like observation incorporating our lost friends and memories and such.
Hypothesis: if someone were to enter the eye of the universe then the ancient glade without the deceased galaxies which would contain innumerable observers then the ancient glade would not have gone dark. It would have stayed illuminated with galaxies like when we first arrive to the ancient glade and maybe the ending sequence could not have transpired.
Hypothesis: we arrived at the eye of the universe at the exact right time. We can deduce this because the first being we encounter in the ancient glade is ourselves maybe somehow split by the polarity of the eye. What is certain is that we are the only ones there as it goes dark with the bursting of the galaxies that illuminate the ancient glade. It is only in this darkness that the light can be found and the eye starts interacting with the hatchling specifically. If the galaxies never burst the ancient glade would stay illuminated thus stunting the darkness set onto the ancient glade which would have prevented the observation of ourselves and sparking the ending sequence which triggered the big bang.
I'm so thoroughly impressed with almost literally every aspect of this game and idk if a game has ever sparked my curiosity the way this game has. Thanks for reading, devs - thanks for staying true to your vision and clearly having fun along the way. Can't wait to see what is next for mobius digital. Congrats on your success and to every hatchling out there who enjoyed outer wilds as much as I did. I know i'm late to the party but I sure enjoyed the time spent. Hatchling out

Really enjoyed my first playthrough so far, the game is living up to the level people say it does. However I'm feeling a bit burnt out and don't want to keep playing for the time being, the problem is I've had this in the past with other games and I've almost never finished them. Is there a way I can see how close to the "end" of the game (if there is one) so I know if I should just commit or not? No spoilers as well please :D

I challenged myself to 100% the Archipelago Randomizer using only the landing camera whenever in the ship π

I opened the game again today and I know where the DLC starts but honestly I don't feel like playing it right now. I've had this experience for the witcher dlcs before, i played them in heat and ended up rushing them. But I think this game will really benefit from this.
In the mean time, I've gathered a few other games SOMA and Obra Dinn, which would be a better one to get started with? Im looking for story rich experience, casual gameplay and horror elements.
Edit: Thanks for replying everyone, i think SOMA is a better game to start for me as I'm really in the mood of horror. And sorry if this wasn't an Outer Wilds related post.

So I know this is going to be very hard to help with my issue with no spoilers, Apologies π
So I finished the base game. Fully achievement hunted it and everything. I am a scaredy cat. It took me ages to even work up the courage to do the bramble. I have thalassophobia that kinda overlaps a bit with the fear of space and the bramble was so hard to get over.
That being said, I have the DLC and never got to the point where I felt comfortable to do the scary parts. I quit the DLC a few months back and still think about it every so often (hence this post)
Is there anything people can reccomend to try and get through the DLC without quitting from fear? Or any reassurances about it that its not that bad? π I appreciate any help or feedback π

If the OW timeline continued, what would the next species to arrive to the solar system have looked like? Other than five eyes, of course, that much is obvious :β :)

Especially the two ?s on the bottom.
That on the middle - starlit cove maybe, i have to find hand while on the river and light it up. I'll teleport to the place from what i can turn off the bell tower so i could go to the hole in the middle of the lake.
So i turn off the bell tower (lights near it) and... i can't go back. There's simple no way i could go down neither on the boat, or straight to the hole.
That on the left - forest or something? That with creepy melody from the building. In the slide reel i saw that owl followed three lights, and the reel begane from thw moment where two owls stand near the bridge and near the hand. I've explored all this map and didn't saw any hand (teleporting one)
Should i try to explore more? Maybe i just didn't paid enough attention? Thanks!
