Questioning Question

Does Omnisexual have a personality preference like Pansexual but a gender preference (which Pansexual might slightly have, but not usually)?

So like in Pansexual the gender or sex does not determine attraction, it’s mostly personality. That’s like me except I have a gender preference.

You can have a gender preference but it's not a necessity for being omni :) it's about gender being one of attributes of a person that you're attracted to

Does it have a strong preference for personality? Whenever I looked this up I didn’t see anything.

Would I be pan with a slight gender preference then?

I think aspects and intensities of attraction will vary from person to person :)

I was told that Pan is gender blind so you "can't" have preferences. In quotes because everyone has an opinion and the only one that counts is your own. I was also told I'm heterosexual because I am a guy that is attracted to femme guys. 🤦🏼‍♂️. That person got blocked lol

What defines you as you is, what makes you who you are. The thing you have to remember sometimes gender preferences might change over time. Sometimes they do and sometimes do not. It is a kind of what works for you and taking it from there.

Okay! Might be Pan. Idk. I’ll get it with time…even if I’m eager.

Nothing wrong with being eager, sometimes the best way is to just try something out, if it is not for you then you just draw a line under it. What if's are always the things you regret the most. I am still learning about myself even now, it is scary but at the same time interesting as well. Just think you might look back and think what I was scared of or feared. Good luck and people will be here to support you as best we can.

Gender is important to onni's but it isn't always a preference it's just a difference, I have a gf right now and if I were dating a different woman the relationship would look fairly similar to me, but if I were to date a guy the relationship would look vastly different (not just because everyone's diffent, but because I would them each differently)
