Wanted to share this weird thing I found while playing the game a couple days ago

I'm playing Abe's Oddysee again right now, and I've never really understood what those passwords in the menu mean. I took a picture for example, it shows L1PO1C14 in the menu and after making some progress in the game, a different password appears in the menu again, and this keeps happening as you play. Abe's Oddysee doesn't actually have a password system on the PS1 or PC (the Game Boy version does, though).

So, have you ever wondered what these passwords might actually mean? 🤔
