I would never notice the images for an embarrassingly long amount of time

I would imagine that would make finally noticing them even more special honestly. Almost like realizing a mundane wardrobe is actually a portal to another world.

Itβs called fore-edge painting and was popular in the 17th & 18th century.

The video would be better if they did not insert the ending first. Just show it chronologically: start to finish.

It's crazy how bots operate in random subs like this one.
Some crazy person says they're bothered by the video starting with the end result, comment gets upvoted by bought bots and then every other bot sees this "successful" comment and they comment the same nonsense about complaining about video starting with the ending. On top of that, the OP is a bot itself, which makes it twice as funny. Reddit is an insane place.

I mean, you're not wrong in a general case, but it feels like you just disagree about the starting with the end thing? Like regular humans would also complain about it on every video that starts at the end? Not every human, but I don't feel like it's a particularly controversial opinion.

Loving that final effect with the gold over the painting - cheers to the crafter π.

This is the book art I like. Not the "art" when people who destroy books to make something crappy out them.

that custom paint job is sick and id lowkey be scared to actually read it and wreck the art. the chunky book makes the whole thing hit harder too. i do wish the clip built up to the reveal in order tho because showing the finish first kinda spoils the payoff.

It looks too thick to be The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Maybe an omnibus of all the Chronicles of Narnia?
