One list, every country โ because Ocicats are everywhere.
A frequent worry: breeders get recommended by word of mouth, and the sub starts feeling local. This thread fixes that. Whether you're in Stockholm, Chicago, or Sydney, this is the place to find (and vouch for) breeders near you.

Sheโs a little muncher, gnaws on everything she finds but sheโs so intelligent and listens when I tell her to come.

Sunny likes going on road trips, cozy nights at home and sleeping in. 4 months, girl.
The first two pics are of our 4 year old Millie, I swear as Artemis ages they might have the same Dad. I knew Millie' mom, a torti that escaped from her house. 4 years later this lil tiny only 1.1 lbs (the cat distribution system) jumped out to attacked my Husband haha. She is now our lil brave, outgoing, let me follow you like a dog everywhere Artemis. Millie is the same haha I am not sure what she is, but those Gold eyes, and the, ever seemingly endless spots that run into line but only at the long legs and tail, as well as ther face and chest, she is becoming so unusual yet so beautiful like Millie and her black feet, bright orange tip tail and strange lines like a mask. I love it.

Anybody know if Catiators is still breeding? Our last Oci was through Jucha who doesnโt seem to be breeding anymore but I see Catiators in our cats bloodlines so tried emailing but havenโt had a response. I can try calling too but wanted to check in on Reddit! Thanks.

I really want an Ocicat. One breeder said their kittens are $700, but they let them go home at 8 weeks, which I read is a bad idea. Their website also claims theyโre CFA certified, but theyโre not listed on CFA. Lots of red flagsโฆ anyone have experience with them? Purrfurdots in PA. Other breeders you know of below $1k? Iโm willing to travel. Also willing to adopt one or a retired breeder. Must be a female.

Hi everyone. Iโm hoping to hear from people who have direct experience with either Cosmic Spot or Megadots Ocicats.
Iโve done a lot of research on Ocicat breeders and these two keep coming up as top-tier, reputable breeders. That said, Iโm finding it surprisingly hard to locate a centralized place where people share longer-term experiences or reviews, especially when it comes to Megadots. Cosmic Spot seems to get mentioned more often, but even then most of what I find is scattered across forums, social media comments, or older threads.
If youโve gotten an Ocicat from either breeder or have firsthand knowledge, Iโd really love to hear:
โข How the temperament and socialization turned out over time
โข Health and communication with the breeder
โข How the kitten adjusted to new environments, people, or other pets
โข Anything you wish youโd known beforehand
Iโm not price-sensitive and Iโm really focused on temperament, health, and long-term support from the breeder. I feel confident in the research Iโve done so far, but hearing real owner experiences would be incredibly helpful in making a final decision.
Thanks in advance. I really appreciate any insight people are willing to share.

I am a new Ocicat-Mama as they are very little known where I am from.
I got her when she was 12 weeks old, as she was the last of her litter not beeing picked up on Adoption day though reserved.
So this is Mia (she was already named).
With her onebraincell-buddy Ethan, a chocolate Burmese, who was why we actually came to adoption day. But there was this little orange baby complaining and we left with both.
Ethan is not that happy. All he wants to do is cuddle and sleep and Mia is my squirrle on ADSD-Meds.

Was cat-sitting this cat. Very lean and athletic. Plays hard and aggressively. Vocal. Long thin tail. I've looked after many cats but she was much leaner than the usual and played with such focus, athleticism and strength unlike any cat I've looked after.
Am curious if she might be a mix of some sort of wild cat but unsure what.

I have an oci boy who is just shy of two. He causes chaos every chance he gets. We have a ton of toys for him and spaces for him to perch but he still gets bored - what are your top toy recommendations to keep trouble makers busy?
