Personally, I feel like Justicia's 350Z is more annoying than A$AP Rocky's 190E that I don't even look at the Mercedes as the "main car" of the game like how the M3 GTR is the main car of Most Wanted 2005.
I got tired of waiting for a remaster of the original Need for Speed, so I decided to start building my own.
The goal is to bring The Need for Speed: Special Edition (1996) into the modern era while preserving its original cars, tracks, driving experience, and distinctive atmosphere.
The project already features enhanced GPU rendering, widescreen support, extended draw distances, improved lighting, shadows, reflections, ambient occlusion, global illumination, and weather effects.
Press F2 during gameplay to switch between three rendering modes: Original, Native, and Advanced, allowing you to experience the game with different levels of visual enhancement.
Future plans include replacing and upgrading the original sprites, materials, and vehicle models to further modernize the game's visuals while staying true to its original design.
It's still a work in progress, with plenty of bugs and performance issues to iron out. There's a long way to go, but the goal is to give this 1996 classic the remaster it deserves!
Need for Speed Most Wanted and Carbon basically made my childhood...I put so many hours into them back in the day on PS2 and Xbox 360 and
It's just frustrating that if you still own the original 360 discs,, you can't even pop them into an Xbox One or Series X to play, and it's the same thing on PS4/PS5,,they're just totally unplayable on modern consoles unless you still have your old hardware set up,,which sadly some of us don't.
There are so many classic games from that era that made it into backward compatibility, so it sucks seeing these two get left in the dust. I get that car licenses, music rights, and legal stuff are usually the main reason these games get stuck in licensing hell, but man... it feels like such a huge missed opportunity.. Wouldn't It Be Awesome To Experience These Games In Our New Gen Consoles?
Nothing big to announce this week. No demo, nothing fancy. Haven't had a lot of time to sink into this project, and the parts that are left are really big and take a lot of time, and kind of depend on all the other parts that are left so a bunch of big systems need to be solved at the same time.
Managed to get the prologue working, roughly, so there is progress! It's still buggy, though, and not ready for everyone. But that means story is being worked on now, for everyone that wanted that fully offline.
Massive thanks to our testers who have been gathering an incredible amount of packets, and sending a lot of details about how the game does all the magic it does. It really makes the work easier.
Well, I wanna make the album cover for the ost (original soundtrack) for Need for Speed - Most Wanted (2005) as u all can see, I have made like 6 iterations for it, in which
1 and 2 layout is inspo from the game cover of PS2.
3 & 4 are my take on how it should be done according to me.
5 & 6 is i used a inpso from gmaes element itself as it kinda iconic.
some chances also happen in the copy of the design (look the design 5 & 6 closly for it plz :) )
Remember, I'm making it according to Spotify and Apple Music like for how u see album art on their services.
So what should i like take it for the W here to polish for final design?
can anyone here help me fix this issue, i have had 0 issues with every NFS game from 2015 onwards but Unbound is being difficult as everytime i try load frosty and choose unbound i get this error.

I'm trying to get Gold Prestige, drifting in a Lamborghini Huracán with a drift setup and everything. I even installed a turbo mod, but I still can't get past Silver. Is there any mod that could help me get enough points? I really want to unlock that damn Platinum trophy while the servers are still online. I've been drifting on the exact same track for three days straight. I'm playing on PC.
The highway has a lot of dividers, and I have noticed that when doing outruns and having the AI tickle your ass hairs and then quickly snapping into a different lane or other highway, it will cause the AI to slow and turn around to get behind you again but by then you will have already gotten your 200 metre lead.
