Hello all I'm 20 years old and I'm looking for stuff to do on Halloween that doesn't require me to be 21 any help would be great. I'd like to go to a party but none of my friends know of any and I love Halloween so I really want to do something. Thanks

Very Wisconsin question - where in Milwaukee can I buy the best beefsticks/jerky? Would like local made.
Any good local shops? Bit random but I appreciate the help.

Give me your best pho spots!!! I am craving something yummy and the spot I always get it delivered from (pho ever - my love!!) is just too damn far from here. The closer to UWM the better but honestly just in Milwaukee would be great lol
Edit: thank you friends I have snarfed down my pho and am in a bliss state

I am a born-and-raised Nebraskan who recently visited your fine city for four days with my fiancé, who lived there for 30 years.
I. Am. In. Love.
From the way your buses operate, to that absolutely funky Brady Street intersection on the East Side (which my fiancé quizzed me on, and which I think I kinda understand now 😂), to the beautiful Milwaukee River, the stunning views, and the proximity to Lake Michigan, I am in love with all of it.
This trip was a trial run. I wanted to see whether I could picture myself living there with my fiancé.
And yeah. I can. ❤️
There’s something about your city that just clicked for me. I came to visit, but I’m going home already thinking about the next chapter. I think it’s time to start getting the ball rolling on bringing ourselves and our three cats up there and making Milwaukee our home.
I don’t know exactly when it’ll happen, or how long it’ll take to get everything in place. But I know one thing for certain:
I can’t wait to come back.
Whether it’s for another visit or because we’re finally home for good, I’ll be counting down the days until we meet again.
Until then, Milwaukee, take care of yourself.
And, of course…
GO BREWERS! ⚾💙💛

Might be a long shot, but does anyone know if any bars in the city will let you rent it out for the evening for a birthday party? I’ll also take any recommendations for smaller event spaces in the city, thinking like 30 people at most.

Hello everyone!
We just found out that our usual family photographer had moved our of state. Who do you recommend?
Bonus if:
-They may have availability soon
- they will shoot at Doctor's Park
- they allow dogs to participate
Thanks everyone for helping us out!

It's been a joy to be around town as the MKE Brewers compete in the World Series. People are collectively excited and it shows in how we are interacting: kindness, smiles. I was very moved last night when the TV coverage would cut to Am Fam Field -- sold out and joyous, all watching a singular event together. Here's to Milwaukee, and to humanity. Let's choose to be happy more often. It's a better way to live.

I was driving through a neighborhood today, and there was a car parked right behind the stop sign, and I waited for what felt like 10 minutes before realizing it was parked. Like there was literally the entire street to park at, but no, they just had to park right behind the stop sign.

Hi All! I’m searching for a wedding venue for summer, preferably with some lake or water view. Some of the venues we are looking at are the Golden Mast in Okauchee, Milwaukee Art Museum,The Commodore in Hartland. I’d love to hear anyone’s insight or experience, and if anyone has other reccommendations :)

We captured a time-lapse of the iconic Schlitz Park mural in 2021 and thought it would be a great time to share it now that the Brewers are in the World Series.

Hello,
I have a senior cat with a gum infection. My vet said it's too risky for a teeth cleaning and just gave him an antibiotic shot. It's been 2 weeks and he's still drooling a bunch. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good vet, maybe that specializes in dentistry?
A lot of people have said senior cat tooth extraction is an option and their cat lived for many more years after.
UPDATE: thank you everyone for the help. I got an appointment at Bayshore since they can see him the soonest and seem to be reputable. I was going to go with VDS but they couldn't see him until mid-November. I'll be sure to ask about x-rays and blood work before agreeing to anything.

Hello all!
Wondering if anyone could share experiences with their builders. Currently deciding between Miller Marriot and Allen/Victory. Both seem very solid, not sure I can go wrong with either!
Thanks in advance
Go crew!
