By the way, if I launch the game from this save file via the main menu, everything remains exactly the same, the state of the log has somehow been preserved within the save file.

Obviously, the title is sarcastic. How can 4A Games release an update like this and still leave the game so buggy?
I've searched through tons of discussions about the missing knockout option when approaching enemies. I even replayed the Regina chapter, and now Artyom is apparently allergic to oxygen (if I take off the gas mask, he starts suffocating even in areas where it's not needed). And to make matters worse, I still can't knock enemies out.

Guys, I just wanted to come here and express my joy and gratefulness of this game. I just completed Metro Exodus.
I loved every single thing about this game. Every NPC touched my heart, especially Miller, omg this old man was like a father to me.
Unlike the previous 2 games, this time round I knocked out everyone instead of killing, even in the previous game, I got the bad ending due to the killings. This time I knocked every one out and got Damir to stay, Alyosha wasn’t hurt and saved Duke.
Even shed a tear for the kid Kirill, that last sequence made me cry like a baby, the conversation with Miller, that moment when everyone of the crew rushed to me when I drove Kirill and Miller to the train rendezvous point at the end.
A beautiful game, I loved the 2nd game more because the story was engaging, but after playing Exodus, wow the story was so touching and brilliant.
In time to come, I’ll replay this gorgeous game yet again in new game plus. 💯❤️

I see GOG has the whole franchise on sale for 85% off. I guess it's to promote the latest next-gen updates.
But is there an FoV slider at all?
Bonus question: It's been years, but I remember Ranger Hardcore being unfair with UI elements in one of the games I tried it in (probably Last Light). Is that still a thing? It was something having to do with knowing what motion with your mouse you had to do to switch equipment. I may be talking nonsense though.

Hi! Does anyone know why, when opening Metro 2033 Redux from Xbox PC, I only get the configuration options shown there, and also when launching the game, the screen goes black for a second and only shows 60Hz

When you get to the church (after the library), the game will crash when you attempt to press "E" on the ammo pile next to the merchant. The gasmask flashes for a second, and game crash. This was a bug way back in the standard Redux version too. Insane that they haven't fixed it.
