Seeking Any mentors for someone in the ecom space

started in ugc currently working in creative strategy, recently acquired a new client that I'd like to retain on a monthly basis.

However my limitations are:

- im introverted/extroverted. I can speak with people but I have crippling anxiety with my work that I find it challenging to reach out to team members.

- people misinterpret my youthfulness as naivety

- i don't know how to work with people, make them trust me, show my human side.

Any pointers in overcoming these issues would be great. If possible a weekly meeting for 30 minutes would be appreciated.

Opening a few more free 1-on-1 coaching sessions this week, in exchange for honest feedback

A few weeks ago I posted here offering free 1-on-1 sessions in exchange for feedback, and the response blew us away. Thank you to everyone who commented, booked a session, and took the time to share honest feedback afterwards. It’s helped us a lot in figuring out what works, what doesn’t, and what to improve.

Since there was more interest than we could fit in last time, we’re opening a few more slots this week.

Same as before: the session focuses on helping you identify patterns in your life, understand where you tend to get stuck, and hopefully leave with a bit more clarity on what you want to work on next.

No payment or commitment. We’re still refining the sessions, so honest feedback afterwards is all we ask.

If you’re interested, just let me know in the comments.

Offering Offering free access to a coaching practice tool for new coaches, in exchange for honest feedback

Basically the title. We’re developing a tool that lets new coaches practise coaching conversations before working with real clients, and we’d love honest feedback from people willing to try it.

It’s built around practising your questions in realistic sessions. You talk with simulated clients who each bring their own issue, and they get harder to question well as you progress. There are also short lessons and drills if you want to brush up first.

It’s especially aimed at anyone who knows the theory but still freezes or second-guesses themselves when a real person starts talking.

It’s free, with no payment or commitment. You’ll get enough credit for several practice sessions. All we ask is that you tell us afterwards what felt realistic, what didn’t, and what would make it more useful for you.

If you’re interested, just let me know in the comments and I’ll send you the details.

Offering Experienced architect looking to mentor founders

Hi everyone,

I have spent over two decades working in technology, and I’d like to connect with people who are building products, starting companies, or navigating challenging technical decisions.

My background is in platform reliability, enterprise backend systems, high-concurrency architectures, and local AI infrastructure. Over the years, I’ve learned that many of the hardest problems aren’t just about writing code — they’re about choosing what to build, deciding what not to build, and making technical decisions that hold up over time.

I’d be happy to share what I’ve learned with early-stage founders, developers, and technical leads who are working through questions such as:

How do you validate a product idea before investing months in development?

When does an architecture need to scale, and when is simplicity the better choice?

How do you identify technical risks before they become expensive problems?

How can founders make better engineering decisions with limited time and resources?

I’m interested in exchanging ideas, learning from other builders, and helping where my experience might be useful.

If you’re working on something interesting or facing a difficult technical decision, what are you trying to figure out right now?

Offering Former Professional Trader | 18 Years in the Industry | AMA

I spent 18 years in trading, 15 of them professionally. I worked as a Senior Trader and Head of Trader Development, trained traders on professional desks, and made eight figures in trading profits. Earlier this year, I retired from professional trading to manage my own capital and spend more time with my family.

I've watched retail trading evolve for almost two decades, and it's incredible how much time people waste learning things that have little to do with actual trading.

People spend five or ten years watching YouTube videos, buying courses, jumping between strategies, learning ICT, SMC, order blocks, fair value gaps, candlestick patterns, and whatever astrology level nonsense is currently trending. They burn through thousands in trading losses and spend thousands of hours staring at charts, only to end up no closer to consistent profitability than when they started.

Meanwhile, they could have spent that time learning how markets actually work, how orders interact, how to read order flow, how to execute, and how to test whether a strategy has a genuine statistical edge.

I've seen both sides firsthand. The retail success rate is roughly 1% or less. Among the traders I trained on professional desks, it was around 40 to 60%.

That's a massive difference, and it should make people question the way retail trading is taught.

I'm happy to answer questions about professional trading, market mechanics, order flow, execution, strategy validation, and what separates actual trading from the stuff sold online.

Ask me anything.

EDIT: For anyone asking how I trade:

I trade order flow. Order flow is the sequence of limit and market orders arriving at the exchange. Limit orders provide liquidity, while market orders consume it. Price changes when aggressive orders exhaust the resting quantity at the best price, or when that liquidity is cancelled. Executed trades classified by price and aggressor side, combined with changes in the order book, provide a direct record of the mechanisms driving price formation.

This process is exploitable because order flow has structure. Institutional parent orders are typically executed through multiple child orders over time to manage market impact, creating persistence in signed trade flow and making current aggression informative about near term activity. Market makers face adverse selection when trading against informed or persistent order flow. As that risk increases, they may withdraw, reprice or skew their quotes, reducing available liquidity and allowing price to traverse multiple levels with relatively little volume. That's what I take advantage off.

The other side of that dynamic is absorption. When substantial aggressive flow fails to produce corresponding price displacement, passive participants may be absorbing the incoming orders. This can leave aggressive traders poorly positioned, with subsequent exits potentially adding opposing market order flow if the market moves against them.

I measure these interactions through variables like price displacement per unit of aggressive volume, liquidity replenishment rates and changes in order flow persistence.

Looking for a Mentor/Coach for Our Conrad Challenge Project!

Hey everyone! :)

I'm part of an international team of high school students participating in the Conrad Challenge, and we're looking for a mentor or coach who could guide us throughout our project.

We're working in the Cyber Technology and Security field, focusing on a real-world problem and developing a practical, technology-based solution. We're currently in the early stages of research, planning, and product development, and we'd really appreciate guidance from someone with experience in areas like cybersecurity, software development, AI/ML, or building tech products.

We're not expecting anyone to do the work for us, we'd just love someone who could help us make better technical decisions, give feedback on our approach, and guide us in the right direction as we develop our idea.

If you're a developer, cybersecurity professional, researcher, startup founder, or someone with relevant experience who's willing to mentor a student team, we'd be incredibly grateful!

Even occasional guidance or a short check-in would mean a lot to us.

If you're interested, please comment below or DM me! And if you know someone who might be a good fit, feel free to point me in their direction.

Thank you.

Offering assistance to those who trade or want to learn how to trade Nasdaq Futures (NQ/MNQ)

Full time trader looking to connect with mature NQ/MNQ/QQQ traders who are interested in trying a new approach to the markets. new or experienced. I see many asking for mentorships here. I'd love to help but my trading and personal life just cant allow that. Instead, I’m looking to connect with about 5-10 diverse people, 1 on 1.

We would communicate (via whatever online source is good for you) for 15-20 minutes a day, about 4x per week, to discuss a structured plan. My trading relies entirely on plans made the night before, trading off dynamic support and resistance, and looking for very specific reactions like reclaims and failed breakdowns.

If we connect:

I'll provide my nightly levels and a custom TradingView indicator that will automatically plot them directly onto your charts.

We’ll review trades that were on the plan and the ones that were not, successes and the failures. We'll also discuss basic setups I look for at each zone, and how different zones carry entirely different weight and meaning to the overall market structure.

For those I feel comfortable speaking and working with, I am committing to do this with you for the entire month of November. After November, you will have the framework to continue on your own. My time will be more limited after, so it will ultimately be up to you to run with it.

My goal is simply to find a few level headed traders who want to build consistency and accountability. I already write my plans down every night, so giving you the playbook is no extra work for me.

Yes, this is real. No, I will not show you my personal income/tax statements. People have already asked. No, I do not drive a lambo. I drive a pretty sweet Honda Pilot with some stale goldfish crackers hidden in the seats and maybe a few lollipop sticks. Not selling/charging you, hoping at the very least to meet some mature people I enjoy talking with.

Seeking 30f Looking for Chemistry mentor within EU

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for someone with a background in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related scientific field who would be willing to mentor me.

I'm 30, currently living in Austria. I'm planning to pursue a degree in Biological Chemistry because I want to eventually work in scientific research.

I'm particularly interested in understanding chemistry at a molecular level, exploring the mechanisms behind biological processes, and developing the skills needed to become a researcher.

I'm not necessarily looking for a formal tutor, but rather someone who genuinely enjoys science and would be open to sharing their knowledge and experience over time.

I'd prefer someone based in the EU or nearby for convenience with time zones. English-speaking would be ideal.

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, feel free to message me!

Offering looking for students that want to re-create reddit to learn coding

Have you ever seen the old TV show "the new yankee workship" where Norm Abrams takes a complex piece of wooden furniture and slowly re-creates it? If not search for it on youtube it's very comfort tv watching experience.

I'm trying to do the same thing with reddit. I'm Norm in this metaphor. I've been a senior staff software engineer at major companies. CS major from University of Pittsburgh back in 1996. So 30+ years experience. AI has changed everything. I'm trying to see what is the correct amount of CS to teach to new students when they will be using AI tools to make complex sites like reddit.

More info in first comment.
