To me it makes no sense that we get 2 years of a premiership window and st kilda get 3. Yes st kilda have a good young crop but like so do we and our young crop took us to finals and nearly a top 4 finish. The AFL loves saints for what.

Melbourne's is probably solely based on the expected career length of Max Gawn.

A 2 year premiership window with a team as young as ours makes zero sense.

What do you think happens once Max leaves?

Brisbane, Geelong, Richmond all had/have recent repeated success without an A grade ruckman so as long as we back out young talent to make it we will be good. Gawn is awesome but if someone like Langford becomes a superstar we can keep winning without him.

I think the 'logic' is "gawn probably not around in 2030"

2, 27 and 28

But yeah, I'm not sure how much thought went into this

I dont think the thought process went beyond; "they probably wont win next year, and after Max Gawn goes, they're boned".

Gawny's time is nearly done and unless we have some stocks showing serious promise then i reckon i agree

Carlton supporter here. We have an incredible core of under 25 year olds coming through yet apparently we're cooked in a year's time. Dumbest shit I've read all off-season and it's only October

Looks very similar to the one that said Lions were no chance this year.

Tassie doesn't even get a premiership window. Lazy content from Fox

Bomber has a typo - think it should be 2092

Are we actively developing and it freeing some cash up to secure an A grade ruckman? I’m not winding up Mr Gawn but planning is hopefully well and truly started….

So they think St Kilda's window opens after Nas leaves, give me strength
