Zero chance we'd go with Steed if Burrows and Bradley are still on the board I reckon

Personally I'd prefer Neocleus over Steed if we're looking at small forwards. Way more crafty and plays with urgency.

Draft experts believe Steed won't be capable of playing as a midfielder given his size and lack of real athleticism. Many think he'll be a high half forward.

Agreed. If Steed is going to be the small inside midfielder, recruiters would need to see evidence that he'd be able to put on some serious Lachie Neale muscle. And while he's young, he'd be stuck at half fwd, sorta out of position, but there to gain experience. Would be better off getting someone who thrives up forward and if they end up transitioning into being a dynamic midfielder like Kozzie, great.

Nah it's a weird mock. The guy's analysis of everyone's needs and options is actually pretty good in the videos he releases but then he just makes weird calls on who they'll actually take.

In my Opinion West Coast Will Keep it Safe and Pick Mellody who is From WA, I don't Think West Coast Need a another Mid-Fwd

That's exactly what we need, we have no decent medium-small attackers. Butler 100% fulfils a need for us.

Haha. It's possible. He was rated in the 20s last year and a few phantoms had us going for him our second pick. Plenty of clubs will tolerate it if a player is a bit of a dick if the talent is there. But if they're uncoachable then they simply won't touch them.

Ethan Mattews has been in the top 8ish convo most of the year, just kind of gets forgotten about.

I'd be surprised if we nominated him with Arki on the board though.

First pick makes sense. If Richmond want HVH as bad as they apparently do, best to try and influence them to draft him so we get the next best player available rather than letting them get Butler and HVH at their next pick
