Further discussion can occur in the daily covid megathread.

167

u/MikeZer0AUS Jul 24 '21

I wish I could understand what their end game is. Do they think the state government is just gonna tell them they're right and lift all lockdoqns and flush the vaccines down the toilet? What goes through that big empty void inside their head.

71

u/potatosonv2 Jul 24 '21

Mob mentality. Just going out there for the sake of "going out there". Misinformation. All of the above

43

u/RyuugaHideki Jul 24 '21

This. People are fucking stupid, it's this stupid contagious mindset that could be easily bypassed with even the slightest amount of critical thinking that's doing us all in right now.

65

u/HiddenSecrets Jul 24 '21

Wanting to be “woke” and “relevant”. I assume they are all on tiktok or Facebook live.

One of the people I know was there. She thinks the vaccine has a microchip in it and doesn’t want to be tracked. Yet posts everything she does on Instagram and Facebook. She’s not difficult to track without a chip. 🙄

These fucking morons are going to keep us in lockdown for longer. Let’s hope none of them actually had Covid.

26

u/MikeZer0AUS Jul 24 '21

I love how these people honestly think the government gives shit about them enough to track them. They all have phones and don't think twice about granting location permissions to every app, they have ID issued by the government and they put in tax returns. The government knows what you do, they just don't care.

Please report her to the police. This could become a super-spreader event. Her friendship isn't worth that.

3

u/HiddenSecrets Jul 24 '21

Oh she isn’t a friend. I just happen to know her.

I didn’t realize (sorry for my ignorance) you could report people. Considering there were so many police there and no one was arrested or fined.

2

u/BitterCrip Jul 25 '21

The direct link for reporting people breaching Covid-19 regulations to Vic police is https://onlinereporting.police.vic.gov.au/s/covid19

5

u/beltonz Jul 24 '21

Literally Facebook

2

u/woosterthunkit Jul 24 '21

Are you reporting her?

2

u/HiddenSecrets Jul 24 '21

Is reporting them even a thing? There were lots of police there who didn’t arrest anyone or fine anyone. I didn’t think they were doing anything about it.

4

u/woosterthunkit Jul 25 '21

Yup for Vic for eg its https://www.police.vic.gov.au/palolr

Don't know the nsw off the cuff but a quick google should bring it up

6

u/B15h73k Jul 24 '21

This how they get to feel special. It's sad really. Society, and the education system have let these people down.

1

u/MikeZer0AUS Jul 24 '21

I would agree but I know too many people with Bachelor and masters degrees that are supporting these rallies. Even the well educated are getting sucked into this crap somehow.

4

u/B15h73k Jul 24 '21

They don't teach critical thinking in school.

2

u/Sparky_Buttons Jul 24 '21

Yes and then the economy will bounce back because covid is no more deadly than the flu. It's not a point of view that requires much critical thinking..

1

u/wotsdislittlenoise Jul 24 '21

So, if I read this right, you've decided that critical thinking isn't really required ...yep, your comment checks out

2

u/Sparky_Buttons Jul 24 '21

You're not reading it right. I thought putting the comment at the end would be enough, but obviously not. I'm not a covid denier mate, but I'll assume you're a bit tense at the moment and were not reading too carefully.

1

u/DREDAY_94 Jul 24 '21

I believe their end game is fReEdOm lol

1

u/MikeZer0AUS Jul 25 '21

They wouldn't know what to do with it lol. I doubt most of them have friends or family that can stand them, when the lockdowns over they'll just go back home and watch TV all day.

1

u/DontLikeLikes Jul 24 '21

That’s how protests work.

1

u/weltallic Jul 24 '21

u/MikeZer0AUS Jul 25 '21

I don't think they have the brain power to even understand that picture, which is why they're out there.
Imagine seeing a tiny part of your house on fire and choosing to ignore it because you want to go to the pub.

0

u/dorusthecreator Jul 24 '21

Are you the bloke that went to BLM protest

290

u/quiet0n3 Jul 24 '21

I just saw the same thing is happening in Sydney!

Police have better things to do than deal with idiots being idiots. But they do have a duty to make sure the idiots are being safe in traffic.

Probably not a precedent you want to set. Protest the "arrest people who are protesing" law and get arrested.

I don't agree with their views, but it's probably better than the alternative.

27

u/quiet0n3 Jul 24 '21

It's not about protesting it's about not social distancing and not wearing masks.

If you want to protest be safe and responsible, don't go creating a situation that will mostly likely end up leading to a longer lock down.

Oh my god I’m dying here! I’ve not left my apartment once in a fucking week! My partner has been doing all our grocery shopping while I did WFH!

I hate this I really do!

But these cunts are fucking ruining it for all of us!

They are ruining it for the people who are doing their part, taking the heavy toll of lockdown in small apartments and respecting the health and safety of their broader society!

I can just tell the people protesting are the ones who just ignore lockdown rules and live basically unchanged lives, they go out for brunch, go shopping and only put on their masks if a dead tired and underpaid wage slave begs them too.

Fuck these people to hell! I hope they pass my apartment so I can dump some buckets of water on them!

159

u/unripenedfruit Jul 24 '21

I find a lot of the assholes that don't follow the rules are the ones that complain about them the most.

Quite a few people I know still get together with friends and disregard the rules, but they're also vocal about how it's so unfair that they're not allowed to.

57

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '21

Exactly!

Like, don’t complain if you aren’t even following the rules. It’s not hard to find work around to still be social and stay safe.

I know watching movies over a FaceTime call is not the same as having a couple drinks at a mates place but we all have to do our part.

Ffs.

15

u/CaptainSharpe Jul 24 '21

Those people you know are fucking scum

13

u/my_4_cents Jul 24 '21

So drop a dime on them and have them fined, give them something to actually complain about.

→ More replies (1)

3

u/jimmux Jul 25 '21

I've seen the same. I'm pretty sure it's the personal sense of guilt that they dislike, not actual restrictions. When they get together and protest it turns that guilt into a false sense of righteousness, so they can live with themselves a little longer.

u/livesforpeens69 Jul 24 '21

Stealing “underpaid wage slave” bc honestly that’s exactly what i am. Not sure i’ll be able to keep my job after my little run in at work last night though..

I mean, who the hell wears a FULL FACE of makeup in the middle of a mask mandate? And then when asked to put a mask on, goes and has a sook about their ruined makeup (despite the fact that they just held it up to their face for a few minutes at a time)? THEN has the AUDACITY to tell the underpaid wage slave “i was eating” pulls out some piece of food that was stuck in their teeth “see? That’s pasta!” Sure dude.. except the fork you just picked up is squeaky clean and i’ve literally watched you not pick it up from the second i freaking put it there. So yes, i wound up losing control after the tenth time asking her to either eat or put on a mask. “I am eating!”.. “good! Then EAT!”

It’s one thing to get dressed up and go out with the girls on a friday night. It’s another to be an entitled, selfish wench and ignore requests made by someone who’s just trying to avoid copping a fine. It’s not like they don’t know what’s going on, because they all had masks in their pockets ready to go. They just didn’t want to ruin their makeup, which they really shouldn’t have put on at all if that was going to be their top priority.

26

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '21

Haha you can keep it I didn’t invent the label.

Also I’m so sorry my dude.

It’s fucking cruel and ridiculous and you can tell those cunts have never worked a wage slave job in their lives. I’m lucky now that I’ve landed a better salary job but I’ll never forget getting abuse and bullshit from people while working at coles.

You have every right to blow your top off at these idiots, you don’t deserve to be put at risk of illness because some dipshit doesn’t want to ruin their makeup. And you deserve respect in the workplace!

Stay strong man, the work you do is important and you deserve better pay. Doesn’t matter if you work the grill at McDonald’s or the checkout at woollies.

Wish you all the best in these absurd times 💜

Hope you are doing ok! But you are right. It’s enraging seeing people be soooo self centred. The thing is most of these people are in a position of privilege in that they are able to protest peacefully without much push back from law enforcement - and have the time, flexibility, energy, independence to attend this fucking waste of air space! There are countless others who are bloody well homeschooling 3 primary school kids while also WFH, or sitting alone on the dole or something, but still putting their fucking mask on and checking in at Coles. I mean shut your bloody whinging!

Anyway, hope you are doing alright.

64

56

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '21

I don't think these morons understand how many people are responsible for their health and welfare in a daily basis.

The cafe they get their coffee from has to comply with food safety law every day, it's not optional. But maybe, for these people and "much freedoms" we should make food saftey optiinal.

156

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '21

It’s fucking annoying they don’t learn. It’s not about them. It’s about the small businesses around Melbourne that are doing the right thing and suffering every day losing money.

If they don’t want the government to protect them they should also forfeit any benefits if they are on them.

85

u/CyberMcGyver Jul 24 '21

It’s about the small businesses around Melbourne that are doing the right thing and suffering every day losing money

Also the virus and the deaths... Right?

... Right?

50

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '21

Edit: And viruses and deaths.

1

u/Traveling_squirrel Jul 24 '21

I mean no, governments should serve the people. We don’t purchase our rights from them. They protect us because we tell them to if we tell them not to then they shouldn’t.

3

u/BIGBIRD1176 Jul 24 '21

Which people should they serve? The 1,000 protesters or the other 5 million in people in Melbourne?

-2

u/KentuckyFriedEel Jul 24 '21

Those small businesses should set an example and outright ban these anti-mask/vaxx idiots.

Before it was just conspiracy nuts, but now they’re a full-blown death cult!!

Ban them, fire them, restrict them, build a register to deny them medical and financial priorities because they are killers.

81

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '21

Blame Murdoch for pushing the questioning of lockdowns and vaccines.

33

u/Green-Percentage3386 Jul 24 '21

Need a vaccine for foxtel.

18

u/CpnCharisma Jul 24 '21

I literally know someone who went to this and their argument was "but the vaccine doesn't stop you from catching it, so why are we still locked down?". Sky News and the constant deflection of responsibility from the federal government has stirred these folks into a frenzy.

5

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '21

This!

But the tables have finally turned in the US and now the right are telling their base to get tested since the only people dying are the unvaccinated (i.e Democrats voters). But because their propaganda was so good with QAnon etc, they're base are now suspicious of any conservative pushing vaccines ("they were secretly left this whole time"), and the leopards are cannibalising their own faces.

I mean, that won’t stop them. But the turn out is less when it’s “stop the lockdown, stop the mask rules” and more “no more social distancing. Let me cough into a strangers mouth!”

The irony that some are carrying coffins... not realising that if we (or Sydney) didn't lockdown, we would likely need many many more of them

147

u/cbx250rs Jul 24 '21

It’s a metaphor for the “death” of freedom, it’s a real concern man! unlike you know actual death , say, from someone getting covid.

43

u/Mann39 Jul 24 '21

Not sure you realised but no one healthy dies. Just checks notes 600k people with underlying conditions that would have died anyway in America /s

4

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '21

Why is it these idiots don’t know how to protest message properly! “I’m carrying a coffin but I’m not talking about death of people, the coffin means death of freedom”

It’s like the republicans who protested democratic lockdowns by dressing up as nazis- “we aren’t nazis we are saying these rules are like nazis”

I haven’t been to a protest for along time but “hey hey Ho Ho Tony abbots got to go!” Was pretty unambiguous. Also not much confusion around “1234 we don’t want this racist war”

5

u/ezgetaaaa Jul 24 '21 edited Jul 24 '21

This may be true in the current state, but I also am really struggling to understand the long term plan here. There is no willingness at any level of government to discuss what a transition to normality looks like. Nobody will put a target on herd immunity (via vaccination roll out) because they're worried about mutations. Genuine consideration but at some point the cure is worse than the disease - mental health system is at breaking point and we can't go on like this forever. Unless there are some targets we can collectively work towards to transition out of a lockdown approach, I imagine the sense of public unease will only continue to grow.

17

u/arbpotatoes Jul 24 '21

mental health system is at breaking point and we can't go on like this forever

The US has taken the approach to lift restrictions once the vaccine was available for a month to every adult to have both doses. At this point it is just hurting responsible people by restricting their lives because other people refuse to get vaccinated. I just wish there would be more of a policy to restrict the jobs and travel of people that choose not to be vaccine.

Honestly, what is wrong with people. I've just got home from work, and spent the day asking people to wear masks properly, limiting the number of people on the premises, disinfecting everything on site multiple times daily etc and although it creates a lot more work, you know what? That's ok, because at least that way I know that when we have older more vunerable people come in (which we do), at least I can be as confident as possible they won't get put in hospital by coming inside. And just about everyone has been really good and understanding about it and playing by the rules to try and keep everyone safe.

And then I get home and see this... Maskless crowds marching through the streets with an escort of cops stopping trams and cars for them. They're total morons. This stunt has just given the gov the licence to lock us down for another few weeks if even one person in this march ends up testing positive over the next few days.

19

u/GhostTheEternal Jul 24 '21

I went to my local (outer Northern subs) Coles today to buy food and about half of the people walking/sitting around weren't wearing masks. There was even a girl sitting in a guy's lap on a bench with her tongue down his throat.

I'm sick of being stuck at home but I'm still able to work and not in financial stress like so many other people are right now, I can't imagine how angry I'd be at these fucking idiots that aren't taking this seriously if I was. The police need to be fining these arseholes.

0

u/lolwhocares23 Jul 24 '21

Sounds like you’re just complaining about having a shit job lol

-1

u/Beautiful-Bonus-5354 Jul 24 '21

What? Look at this objectively: Australia in its entirety hasn’t had a single covid death in months and is rolling out the vaccine rapidly. Lockdowns not only come with the obvious costs to mental health, but destroying businesses, ending jobs, separating family, etc

On the other hand, lockdown would minimize the very few cases even occurring currently, and would better ensure the deaths stay at 0 (as they have for months).

Clearly there’s trade offs here. For you, what the hell is the reasonable balance? Shutting down everyone’s lives for weeks doesn’t seem reasonable when it only prevents very few deaths. “Lock down everything until covid is gone” is just dogma, not reasonable and considerate at all.

3

u/BitterCrip Jul 25 '21

"Australia in its entirety hasn’t had a single covid death in months"

WTF? There were two in NSW today. One on Friday. One 4 days before that. Your "objective" statement is BS.

-1

u/Beautiful-Bonus-5354 Jul 25 '21

Google “Australia covid deaths”. Yes, as of writing this, there have been 3 deaths in the entire country of Australia in the last several months. Does that justify locking down the country? Did I deserve to lose my job and see my neighbors lose their business?

3

u/BitterCrip Jul 25 '21

No, that was just the last week I bothered to write out, there have been more in the past months.

Antivax plague rats deserve to lose their jobs.

263

u/ownsacow Jul 24 '21

This is really distressing. What do they think they'll achieve with this, other than the risk of more lockdowns. Thankfully it doesn't seem to be as big as the one in Sydney.

288

u/WhenWillIBelong Jul 24 '21

Remember last year when they had planned an anti-lockdown rally. Then it was announced that lockdowns would be ending the next day. They held the rally anyway. They are doing it because they like getting outraged.

I feel the same way. We are in no position to question the government. Its too risky. It doesnt matter how wrong they have been about things so far. JUST LISTEN TO THE GOVERNMENT. You NEED to at minimum double mask. Yes, still. You NEED to be 100% clean shaven if youre wearing a mask. Yes you still NEED the vaccine even tho you still should be at minimum double masking. If people would just come together and do this for 2-3 weeks THIS WOULD ALL BE OVER

Lot of Qanon rhetoric going on at these protests. The fuckin Q/Guy Fawkes masks, “drain the swamp”, “the awakening”. Some idiot wearing a tshirt about pedos in government. References to satanism.

These people are dumb as fuck. It still shocks me somehow. Dumb as fuck and dangerous as fuck. I wish the media would report more openly on Qanon links to this shit, anti-lockdown anti-vax anti-mask rhetoric. Most of it is coming from the same place and we should be concerned.

So disheartening. We’ve done the hard yards and millions of people have done the right thing. We’ve all made sacrifices. And these idiots threaten to ruin it all. They don’t care about small business or mental health or vulnerable people, they only care about their useless asses.

6

u/rlysickofyourshit Jul 24 '21

Without it being labeled as censorship or propaganda, how do we combat this issue?

Asking in good faith.

6

u/eljackson Jul 24 '21

In the same vein as handling the Westboro Baptist Church, through sheer mockery and indifference. Making them the same zeitgeist punchline as Kim Jong Il was in Team America.

3

u/mortalcookiesporty Jul 24 '21

I am honestly not sure, and I wish there was an easy answer. It’s so insidious. I think there should be more “mainstream” knowledge about these groups and how people get sucked into it, but speaking out against it so often gets written off as attempts to censor, and empowers them more. It’s truly complex.

I believe there were probably a lot of people at these protests who had no realisation of this stuff or what they’re aligning themselves with. Lockdown sucks, people are desperate and vulnerable.

I wonder if perhaps they should be taken more seriously as a terrorism threat, but when an internal FBI memo declared Qanon a terrorist threat in 2019 it just kinda added fuel to the fire.

Dumb as fuck and dangerous as fuck

Funny how you said nothing when BLM were protesting.

But there’s some proper, real, scary inequalities and conspiracies to be upset about.

Why not get pissed about consolidation of media ownership, or industry influence in government, or perhaps a housing affordability death spiral, or the real rapists in government, selling off our natural resources, or fucking wholesale water theft, or maybe the massive mismanagement of the vaccine ordering and rollout.

Oh, nah. The government secretly want everyone at home for reasons. Just to show you who’s in charge.

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '21 edited Jul 24 '21

I say everyone respecting lockdown orders should get their garden hoses out, and give these clowns an impromptu bath as they pass.

86

u/melbbear Jul 24 '21

I’m not sure there are too many garden hoses in the cbd

48

u/Red_Wolf_2 Jul 24 '21

People in apartments have buckets and taps (and balconies) right?

→ More replies (1)

4

u/CyberMcGyver Jul 24 '21

Damn only fire hoses.

... (sigh) Welp!

(honestly I believe in the right to protest, but during these circumstances it can lead to harm of others purely by presence, I can't agree with it. I think it's telling they never protest when it isn't lockdown.)

5

u/_hazey__ Jul 24 '21

Being coffee lovers, they’ll have plenty of boiled kettles.

1

u/vonwilhelmsllama Jul 24 '21

Men have their own built in hose... They piss us off and we piss on them?

1

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '21

As much as you might wish to unleash number ones on them, that’s a bit of a legal problem.

Any reason why you didn't give the BLM march a good spray?

I’m currently isolating for two weeks thanks to some idiot with the virus in Prahran Market last week, but I know it’s necessary and these f#ck sticks do my head in!

60

u/magnetik79 Jul 24 '21

Thx for doing your bit. 👍 These shitheads on the other hand....

17

u/Sam_Sch35 Jul 24 '21

I’m also isolating as I work at Prahran market and was there the entire day. How have you found the DHHS? I haven’t once been contacted by anyone, I’ve been on the help line 4 seperate times! I’ve lost or will lose 1200$ of income and yet I can’t even file a claim as I have no formal documentation to say I’m “in quarantine”. I’m trying my best to do what’s right but this is fucking ludicrous, it’s been a week since I was “exposed” and I’ve had 0 contact from any official government branch.

Try my best to do the right thing but it’s honestly a joke.

11

u/Busy660460 Jul 24 '21

I am also isolating because I shopped at Prahran Market. Someone from DHHS called and did a small interview and they've been texting me every day to remind me to isolate. What did they say when you called them? Surely they would have been in contact with your boss as well? Could they not confirm you work there?

Thank you doing the right thing.

In the face of incredible selfishness, people like you who are looking out for everyone by going through the discomfort of isolation give me hope.

14

u/ruinawish Jul 24 '21

I’m currently isolating for two weeks thanks to some idiot with the virus in Prahran Market last week

Sorry you have to isolate, but bit unfair on that person with the positive case. If I recall correctly, that person had not been identified as a close contact before being told to isolate and get tested; they had checked in with qr codes, and had done all the right things.

10

u/angrathias Jul 24 '21

I remember reading she was at a Tier 2 site, tested negative, went to market and then her exposure got bumped up to Tier 1. Either way, sounds like they did everything reasonable

12

u/Yeahniceone Jul 24 '21

Prahran gang rise upppp. For what it's worth Blackhearts does $1 delivery within 12ks of the CBD and i'm getting righteously tanked to deal with it. Hang in there mate.

10

u/currentlyengaged Jul 24 '21

Thanks for being rad as fuck. I know it can feel shitty and pointless doing the right thing when others aren't, but there are more people in Victoria doing the right thing than it feels like, including you.

I hope you get through your iso period okay and stay healthy.

Tin foil hats aside; I don’t get why you would protest when we’re almost out of lockdown?

If you’re so anti lockdown, why participate in a public demonstration that has a very high likelihood of resulting in addition time in lockdown?

I get your human rights. I get you think it’s a hoax. I get you think only cowards stay home.

I honestly get what you’re saying - but surely you can see that if you resent/reject lockdown so much - it’s better not to do things that result in lockdown???

Those of us complying; are doing so at the cost of massive sacrifice. We don’t want to be in lockdown any longer than you do.

It’s like you’re literally standing in the sea shouting “I don’t want to get wet”. Get out the fucking sea.

My housemate is like the people at this protest it's the absolute worst fuck facts fuck logic it's a endless argument she believes in articles that are fake full of misinformation and just not true

Like today she was telling me " greg hunt said nobody has died of covid" so she showed me a 7news out of context video he was saying nobody died from ONE SPECIFIC CASE not the entire disease itself I tried to explain that and I got told I'm just a " human sheep who knows nothing"

These people live in echo chambers they believe the dumbest shit she told me that 5G Towers are turning people into "transhumans"

It's best to just ignore them and laugh

The fuck is wrong with them

42

u/Red_Wolf_2 Jul 24 '21

So how about this for an idea... Arrest the people protesting and breaching restrictions, but direct the funds raised from their fines to the multiple businesses and people who are doing the right thing and suffering for it through lost income and revenue.

40

u/servonos89 Jul 24 '21

Literally what is the fucking point. Wait three days and we’re out.

If just one of those nutfucks has Delta we’re in for longer.

Literally what’s the fucking point. Also it’s the law to wear a mask - arrest them.

A protest can’t be peaceful if people can die as a result.

14

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '21

Some teenagers once in a while get drunk and shake a garbage container because it feels like sticking it to the man - and they need that in order to feel free and independent. Then they grow up and get kids and try to contribute to a friendly neighborhood.

Some people inexplicably get caught in some sort of vacuum, unable to move forward and will forever appear to the world as a lost, wasted teenager.

27

u/dixonwalsh Jul 24 '21

what do they think this will achieve? the CHO will see their protest and say “oh you know what, you’re right, let’s abolish lockdowns”?

seriously, the mind boggles.

47

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '21

They did that here in Brisbane aswell. Thousands of people roaming the streets screaming.

What really got me was, they had signs saying “my body my choice”. Me and my partner went out for a walk not knowing this protest is taking place, we wore masks. People started screaming at us to take off our masks and that we are embarrassing ourselves.

Literally having “our body our choice” written on the banners

Wearing a mask is my choice and this is my body. The arrogance of these entitled hypocrites is beyond my understanding.

Remember when we thought the internet would make society smarter?

5

u/Jravensloot Jul 24 '21

It just made idiots feel more confident in their stupidity because they could easily find people who validated all their stupid ideas. I really wish I could find it, but I remember there was some professor who actually predicted this in the late 90's. She argued way before the popularity of social media, that the internet would massive groups of radical idiots.

3

u/BjorkshirePudding Jul 24 '21

The best thing the internet did was bring people together.

The worst thing the internet did was bring people together.

1

u/obrothermaple Jul 24 '21

It’s how you use it. It is the ultimate tool to gain knowledge, but is rarely used that way.

If you stare at the same right wing groups on Facebook all day, you’re not getting much out of it.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '21

it has in a lot of ways, but its still new shit in the grand scheme of things. its just that young rebellious phase where you think you know everything and think you should be in control, but have no idea how to go about getting your way without making a fool of yourself in the process. most people grow out of that phase and do something substantial enough for their lives. reckon people will get bored of their own bullshit eventually and then the real internet should start to take off.

36

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '21

Arrest them

20

When less than 1000 people show up to protest something in a city of 6 million people. It's not a protest. It's a bunch of morons outing themselves.

→ More replies (2)

80

u/Beasting-25-8 Jul 24 '21

Probably not. They're obviously all idiots, but the chances any one of them has Covid is extremely low..... however if one does they're probably too stupid to get tested, or isolate.

80

u/LinkWithABeard Jul 24 '21

Oh man, if by some highly unlikely chance one of them have delta
We’re in for a much longer road to getting back to normal.

Selfish pricks.

And before there are comments going on about protests being a “fundamental part of democracy” - yes. Yes, protests are a fundamental part of democracy, but if protesting is putting people’s lives at risk, that’s not protest anymore - it’s more similar to a riot than a protest.
