Borderlands [Semi-vanilla][SMP] {Whitelist}{26.3}{25+}{International}{Voice Chat}{Forever World}{Hermitcraft-inspired}

[u/Donderskeerl]

Borderlands is a multiplayer forever world for adults (25+), heavily inspired by Hermitcraft. Same world for about 3 years now: no map resets, no wipes, no starting over. What you build here stays, and keeps growing for as long as you want to work on it.

We're a group of grown-up players with jobs, families and busy lives, playing together in this world since around 2023. Think Hermitcraft: big personal builds, shared districts, player-run shops, games and a bit of friendly chaos. We're looking for a few new people who want a calm place to wind down and build for the long run.

A forever world, shared

• Build your own area, your own way. No themes forced on you. Some of us build a huge base, some build entire worlds.

• Your builds are permanent. Everything within 6000 blocks of spawn is never reset. Explore beyond freely; only the area outside 6000 blocks gets refreshed with every update, so there's always new terrain and fresh resources.

• Pure vanilla gameplay. No claims, no land protection plugins, no furniture packs, no pay-to-win. Just survival and trust (and CoreProtect in case something does go wrong).

• A living world around you. A shopping district and a civil district where players run their own shops and agencies.

• A gaming district. Fight players and mobs in the PvPvE arena, try your luck at the casino, get lost in a gigantic maze, and more. All built by players, all in vanilla.

Little extras

• Playtime titles under your name, from Settler to Legend, that grow with the time you put in

• Our own currency: trade diamonds for Bordercoins and spend them on cosmetics (cosmetics only, no gameplay impact)

• Proximity voice chat, a live BlueMap, and server-side LODs for Voxy so you can see your builds from far away

• No mods needed, just accept the server resource pack

• 75+ custom cosmetic outfits to wear yourself, or to dress up zombies with

Who we're looking for

• Adults aged 25 and up

• Builders who enjoy long-term projects and want to invest in our world and community

• Respectful, laid-back players who like a small community where everyone knows each other

• No pressure to be online every day. Play when life allows.

Details

• Java Edition, version 26.3

• Around 8–10 regular players, looking to grow to around 20

• An international group with players from Europe, the US and Australia, so there's usually someone online

• Whitelisted, 25+ only
