Feeding Feeder Flies

I purchased blue bottle fly spikes from josh's frogs and have been trying to hatch them for around a month now. I have had no luck. The closest I got was a fly half emerged that soon died later. I live in a very tropical, warm, humid place so I thought I would have no problem hatching them. Did I go to a bad vendor? Any tips on how to consistently hatch flies?

I'm currently in the same boat, I've purchased house fly spikes, green bottle spikes, and blue bottle spikes all from Josh's frogs. None of the green or blue have hatched and only a tiny portion of the house flies have hatched.
